Should we all craft Golden Leroy's?

Title pretty much says it all. I have 8 HS accounts and all have a bunch of dust. I have Leroy's on a couple names but I am wondering if this would be the thing to do... Craft Golden versions of Leroy, get 3200 dust right back, then (On some of my names) just disenchant that for 1600 more.
This would net me 4800 free dust am I wrong?

If you spend 3200 dust crafting it, then you won't actually be gaining from the rotation dust. So the net value would be 1600.
But yes, craft all of the rotating cards in golden, and reap the rewards.

I thought you would get the full crafting value back for the highest value version you have... so 3200 dust for the golden... then you still actually get to keep the card, so if you in turn disenchanted that, wouldn't it be 4800 dust?
Yes. If you have a golden leeroy you will always top deck it when you need it.
You do get the full crafting value, so you would get 4800 dust. But if you had to lose 3200 dust to get it than you are only making profit of 1600 dust.

then theres a profit. golden cards to be rotated to HoF should always be crafted. refund and dusting. the net value is always the dust of course if u dont own the golden already. like me. i have the normal Leeroy and im about to craft the gold one so i get the 1600k net dust from dusting it aftetwards
may I ask.. why do you have 8 accounts?
want to gain dust?
If you have leeroy do nothing.
if you have golden leeroy do nothing
if you don't have leeroy:
just craft it, or a golden copy and you get full refund.
if you have normal leeroy and you want to "upgrade it" craft a golden one, disenchant the normal copy and you get 400 dust but you paid 1200 dust for the golden copy.
This is the best decision tree for whatever your priorities happen to be: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/fkankj/2020_hall_of_fame_craftdust_guide/
If your only goal is to maximize dust as profit, you aren't generating any additional resources by crafting a golden version if you have the normal one. You only get the dust refund for your "highest value cards that can be included in a single deck." In your case -- and mine, for what it's worth -- that means taking no action would generate 1,600 dust for the value of the normal Leeroy, and then another 400 for the "regular" value of disenchanting it, for a grand total of 2,000 dust. Meanwhile, if you craft golden, you're spending 3,200 up front, gaining back the same 3,200, and then gaining the "regular" value of disenchanting both.... for a grand total of, again, 2,000 dust. It's the same result either way.
Or for the mathematically minded:
Have Regular, Craft Golden
- 3,200 (golden craft) + 3,200 (golden refund) + 1,600 (golden disenchant) + 400 (regular disenchant) = 2,000 dust
Have Regular, Do Nothing
1,600 (normal refund) + 400 (regular disenchant) = 2,000 dust
Now if you want the pleasure of playing with golden Leeroy for the time you have left, don't let me stop you.
Well I started playing the day GvG came out and I dunno.... I just got out of control lol. I only played casual at first and so I was always looking for more rewards to get. I have since refined what I'm up to. I have a "Main" name, where I never get rid of anything besides extras. All the other names are kinna like a testing ground for shit I am thinking about putting in my main acc. So the other names consist of only 1 class. I dust all other shit besides nuetral cards. I can rack up a TON of dust that way and try out all the Tier 1 decks. If I like them, I then integrate them into my main acc. I am doing the same with LoR.... albeit with just 2 accounts. It's nice to be able to try out wacky stuff on an acc that really doesn't matter.
Example given... I fully crafted the Galakrond Shaman on an alt acc and then it got ultra nerfed. This saved me precioues resources on my main acc. I am fully F2P. So my main acc is my special baby lol.
Hmm I see.. I guessed as much, hopefully the changes in the F2P formula will make it so you won't need so many alt accounts anymore.. also there's no need for that strategy in LoR.. you will get everything there eventually I play casually and I already have almost a full collection missing only a few cards.
The only way you can earn dust from nerfs is crafting golden commons, but you earn like 20 dust so not worth it to me.
The dust value of this expansion is I can finally dust all the bad legendaries since after the new set releases it means you will never get that dusted legendary card from a future pack.
