8 mana 16/16 rush seems balanced
If you manage to buff this prime, things get really ugly for your opponent.
The cost is high, but the reward is worth, in my opinion.
Some sort of dragon hunter with some beast synergies and just this beast in the deck maybe?
Scavenger's Ingenuity, Nine Lives, Ramkahen Wildtamer, Hunting Party,...
Single Beast Hunter incoming?
Maybe add in Scarlet Webweaver and Tundra Rhino for some OTK business?
Will Dire Frenzy be in, or rotated out?
Dire Frenzy is Witchwood, so it's gonna leave Standard.
But you might stay if you want ;)
Inconsistent as best. You'd want to buff Prime with Scavenger's Ingenuity but with two more beasts in the deck that becomes difficult
This thing is so good.. 5/5 seriously the base body isn't that bad either..
quest hunter will really like this thing.. (there's no more Leeroy Jenkins in quest hunter though..).
can't wait to play this and now the game will FINALLY be cheaper I might actually start crafting stuff.
I wonder if this could be a new win condition for Quest Hunter seeing how Leeroy and Flark rotate so their reach is pretty much gone.
If you can't beat em with Reach, beat em with value. With Nine Lives you can shuffle multiple ones into your deck and can also combo them with Ramkahen Roar for a 10-mana triple 6/4 with rush for multiple turns in a row.
Basically do the old Scion build from Galakrond Warrior but for Hunter
It is not inconsistent at all because you control exactly when you shuffle Prime into your deck. You can also play two copies of Ingenuity and even add Vargoth to double draw. So you can draw three buffed beasts. It is super consistent. Feels like a very easy 30dmg combo. Hard part is to survive until 8 mana.
It's inconsistent because you have to wait to draw both Rhino and Webweaver before you can shuffle and set up and Hunter isn't exactly known for being good at that
This works well with the Hunter "Handbuffs" and "Handcopy" cards, but at first sight it's comparable with Scion of Ruin, which makes prime Zixor look way overpriced.

Too bad the front half of this card is kind of weak.
That said, you're probably still playing this in most hunters.
while a 2/4 with Rush isn't ideal, I think with the help of cards like Diving Gryphon, Tracking and the new Scavenger's Ingenuity, you should be able to find the prime version easily enough for this card to be worth playing.

Unlike other Prime generators, this has Rush so you can trade it immediately to guarantee the Prime version goes in your deck before your opponent can steal or silence.
Fine, unlike MOST other Prime generators. My point still stands.
I like the concept of this card. On the one hand, it encourages the players to build a complete deck around this card, that aim on buffing and duplicating Zixor Prime. On the other hand, this card is a good addition to already existing decks like Quest Hunter.
This card is insane. Highlander hunter already runs nearly no beasts, so this will definitely fit well.
Pretty decent rush prime similar to kargath. Typically rush cards are nice in hunter decks let alone having an add on effect to get another big boy.
Doesn't mesh well with [Hearthstone Card (Beastmaster Leorokk) Not Found], but boy it sure does with the other cards. The stats are a little iffy on the base form, though. All-in-all, I like it.
Great stats, guaranteed to rock its deathrattle, great pay-off, tutorable, what's not amazing about this cute lil' dude? Will see play in most Hunter decks.
Oh how excited I will be to pull the prime version of this off of Scavenger's Ingenuity or even hit it with Scrap Shot :O then what about Hunting Party oooo the possibilities are endless :D

Good card, since Hunter can draw rush deck from his deck. If we buff the prime version it's insane, but this will not happen so often.
Deathrattle goofing for seven-eight Zixor Primes feels like filling your deck with Flamestrikes to me. Maybe with hand buffs this can be good, but hand buffs have a history of not being good. Not super impressed by this card.
With the beast hand buffing effects the Prime is pretty nasty! What is the WitchWood dragon for Hunter that never really saw play and doubles all stats in hand? Emeriss? Could be fun in Wild after some big buffs. There is also still that spider in Standard that reduces the cost of a beast in your hand by 5 too!
This seems like a build around card. And the support is already there. Overall good card.
2/4 rush deathrattle won't favorably trade or activate in early game, leaving him open to silence
and if you do pull it off you'll have to draw his prime form to activate it's effect. Fortunately Hunter did get that Griffin in Dragons that draws other rush minions...
Definitly the ugliest prime card.
this a probably one of hunters best cards the buff cards like the rotated Dire Frenzy and new cards like Scrap Shot can turn zixor into a op force of nature and the card gets even more insane in wild because of Dire Frenzy and Augmented Elekk
Hunter have so many ways to abuse this. Really scary card

Looks strong, but also really slow for the class which kinda kills it. The prime is definitely great though
Another strong card for Highlanderhunters. Also good for Questhunters.
This card seems powerful with all those beast buffs hunter gets.
Prime form is insane if you get to buff it!
My issue with this card is that it only has 2 attack. Even when considering that it is quite fast, its attack might be too little to kill some beefier targets, even on turn 3. Still pretty powerful, though.
This is great and fits hunter as a hole. Buffing it’s prime buddy won’t be hard to Atchieve and giving this charge could be game ending
Can't say I'm unhappy they made this 3 mana. I just managed to pull 4 out of an Exotic Mountseller.
