Should The Coin be a dead element?

The coin is there to counter the disadvantage of going second. However in it's current state it is not an equalizer, but an (unfair) advantage for the player who goes second.
My proposal is to have the coin you get from going second ONLY give you one mana crystal. It shouldn't count as a spell / card and will not work as a combo enabler.
Coins generated later in the game can work as normal.
What do you think?

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.
Players who go second still lose more than players that go first.
Even in rogue..
Having 1 less mana each turn and if both play a minion at the same time, the one who gone first is able to attack first.
Just to point out that despite The Coin and the extra card, who goes second is still at disadvantage, in average (stats-wise).
However, some decks are indeed at huge advantage having an extra free spell, namely Wild Quest Mage or Kael decks.
All in all, I believe they prefer to keep it as it is, because otherwise average stats would be even more unfavourable against who goes 2nd.
From my Wild point of view, having a soft nerf against Wild Quest Mage would still be risible against the other t1 (or tgod) decks of the meta.
Certain decks and class work better with the coin, some don't. Aggro decks in particular enjoy massive advantages going first.
This have been argued for ages, but I think the last time I heard of any form of statistic from blizzard was that going first have a 1% advantage in terms of win rate. Since there's no way to balance the advantage afforded to the ones going first (minion attack initiative), I suppose its only fair that the advantages of the coin provides shouldnt be taken away neither.
Certain decks can take advantage of going second because of tempo effects like Combo or similar.
To be honest though, outside of these cases The Coin may even not be enough to even the scales. Sometimes going first gives you so much initiative that not even an Innervate can turn the tables.

According to the stats on my Hearthstone Deck Tracker, I have a 56% win rate total, while going second I have a 53% win rate, and going first I have a 59% win rate. In spite of the extra card and coin, I still lose more often going second.

Maybe the coin should also freeze an enemy? That way it could be used to counter the attacking advantage of going first
Ah finally! Nerf the coin thread on out of cards! I've waited for this sinds the beginning!
Just remove turns completely and let both players take their turns at the same time obvious solution duh.
