Day 1 crafts?

So I usually wait far too long until I craft those great legendaries I never open. Tomorrow though I’m thinking of making an exception, and craft those I really want and hope to open those good ones you want to have but not craft.
I’m thinking of Maiev Shadowsong (good neutral + old WC3 fave), Kayn Sunfury (probably key finisher for Illidan) and Kargath Bladefist (just too good to pass).
What to you think of these?

Maiev is probably a very safe craft.
I personally suspect Kayn is over-rated and that he won't do as much as people expect, but I could be very wrong. If you like aggro then you'll probably like that side of Demon Hunter so go for it. Besides, he's bound to make you smile/laugh at least a few times, and if that comes at the expense of a Res priest then I fully support it.
Kargath does indeed seem like a good, solid reliable card that you can't go too far wrong with. Without Acolyte of Pain warrior card draw takes a hit though, so I would advise you to not dream too big about the prime card.
I've never been a day 1 craft player: I value my dust too much to risk to waste it on garbage.
The only exceptions to this self-imposed rule have been Kronx Dragonhoof and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, because the whole expansion was around Highlander and Galakrond so there's no way they would have been crap.
No day 1 crafts, but if I had to choose which ones I think will end up being must-haves, then it's clearly Maiev Shadowsong (neutral tool with a very useful effect that can be exploited by all 10 classes) and Kayn Sunfury (if this card, together with Metamorphosis, fails then the whole DH class will fail, a thing that is very unlikely since Team wants to push the new toy).
It depends on what I'll unpack, but based on that I think Zixor, Apex Predator will be another to-go card for Hunter players. Just too good to pass on.

I second Maiev Shadowsong. She's just a Spellbreaker on steroids, a must-have for any Aggro/Tempo/Midrange deck.
I will definitely craft her after my first 10 packs, leaving the RNG of pity timers for other legendaries I'm more unsure about.
I will craft more after opening all my packs, because I have quite some dust and can afford it, but I am uncertain about the safe-craft status.
I think Metamorphosis will be much more important than Kayn (Kayn is NOT a finisher as Leeroy was, unless you are already ahead on the board) and Kargath may not be that relevant without Town Crier.
Dude, dont craft just because you think. People cant say that card is a good craft. You've never tested it. Maiev can be the worse card from the legendaries category. Who knows?
Maiev is a no-brainer, she'll be in so many tempo decks, as well as a few decks that aren't good at dealing with big stuff early on.
Probably also gonna craft both Warlock legendaries, because I really wanna get to playing Twistlock as soon as possible.
maybe also Hunter
I have over 60k dust, I can basically do whatever I want.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Probable safe cards to craft assuming you want to rank up (just my opinion, dont crucify me)
Maiev Shadowsong
Astromancer Solarian
Metamorphosis
Shadowjeweler Hanar
Kanrethad Ebonlocke
I agree with shuckie up there that Kayn Sunfury is probably overrated. Its best use is against priest and druid. In most cases, you can accomplish the same thing with Maiev Shadowsong. That's not to say its a bad card and will never see play, I'm just thinking of super safe options assuming youre crafting day 1.
My only day 1 craft is going to be Maiev, I agree with others that's a very flexible card and a safe craft. Historically, I've crafted 1 good and 1 bad legendaries day 1: Kronx Dragonhoof and... Nozdormu the Timeless in Descent of Dragons, Heistbaron Togwaggle and Tak Nozwhisker in Rise of Shadows... I'm going to wait for the meta to define a bit before crafting any other legendary other than Maiev.
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
If you're looking for safe crafts, craft the powerful legendaries in the DoD expansion.
As far as I'm concerned, though, the right things to craft on day 1 are the things you think you'll have the most fun with. I crafted Lyra the Sunshard on day 1 of Un'Goro, despite all the hate for the card at launch, and had a blast with it. (Eventually she did see some play in more serious Priest decks.)
This time around, I think the legendaries I'm most excited for are Akama and Shadowjeweler Hanar - they seem to support some pretty fun archetypes for Rogue - and maybe Teron Gorefiend, since he seems like he'll make some pretty silly things happen with Primes and other deathrattles (and probably some less fun things happen with Toxic Reinforcements). And, obviously, crafting the DH legendaries makes sense simply because the class is new and exciting.
Aside from maeiv its hard to recommend anything.
I can say I'll be crafting Akama and Shadowjeweler Hanar if I don't pull them from packs - this "Sneaky" Rogue archetype with Stealth/Secrets looks like it will be super fun, even if not overly competitive. I'm on the fence about maybe also crafting Beastmaster Leoroxx and/or Zixor, Apex Predator - Midrange Beast Hunter worked very well for me in the current year. Not sure how good it will be without the guaranteed, solid healing from Vicious Scalehide + Dire Frenzy + Master's Call combo, so maybe those are "Day 30" crafts?
I can say I will NOT be crafting either Paladin legendary. I Day 1 crafted both Sir Finley of the Sands since I was so sure Highlander Paladin was going to be OP, and then did the same with Dragonrider Talritha because obviously Dragon Paladin was going to be unbeatable... :/ So despite my thinking Pure Paladin might be good this expansion, I'll leave it RNGesus if I get Lady Liadrin or not.
I will probably craft the new DH cards (Kayn Sunfury & Metamorphosis) if I dont get them and then, not too sure. I am on the minority that thinks Maiev Shadowsong is going to be underwhelming so not going for her until the meta settles down and I am proved wrong.
Edit: ALMOST FORGOT Murgur Murgurgle I totally love playing murlocs as they are pretty fun for me and have been since the game launched, so probably gonna craft it if I dont get it
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
I think Kayn is an auto include just because his stat value. 4-mana 3/5 with charge that goes through taunts is just a great minion even if you don't use him for lethal. You can just use him to value trade through taunts or pick off a specific minion.
There's absolutely no reason not to craft him if one plans to play any DH decks

It was awful.
Solarian prime seems insane. That is mine insta craft.
Kayn Sunfury is really strong, but he's limited by the fact that he's a class legendary and if I'm low on dust he's probably not going to be a card I would want to craft, at least not until hes confirmed by pros as a vital part of the deck. In many ways he's like Dragonbane in dragon hunter. Its really strong in very specific points of matches, but in most cases you can probably still do well without em.
I already opened the bundle and got Astromancer Solarian and Zixor, Apex Predator. I will open another 25 packs and hope to have at least one of these tomorrow:
Maiev Shadowsong
Kayn Sunfury
Shadowjeweler Hanar
Lady Liadrin
Evocation
but if I don't get these, then I'll consider crafting them. I don't usually craft on the first day (only Zephrys the Great and Kronx Dragonhoof ), but this may be an exception because I have a lot of dust.
I'm debating crafting a golden legendary for the first time in Zixor, Apex Predator.
I’ll craft the Warlock legendaries because I am an idiot, but I really love playing the class. Granted, both look pretty useful this time around.
I suggest to craft only neutral Legendary minions early on. Class Legendary depends too much on the meta.
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Definitely on my (slighty lounger) shortlist as well, together with the Hunter Prime.
No-brainer: Maiev Shadowsong, though I might wait around before crafting her. I don't think she's as must-craft as Kronx Dragonhoof, Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, orZephrys the Great.
Personal picks:
Shadowjeweler Hanar - Secret/Stealth Rogue looks like a powerful deck, can't wait to play it.
Akama
Kayn Sunfury - I'm gonna spam DH until I grow tired of it.
Metamorphosis
Lady Liadrin - I just got a golden Paladin portrait last month, so I want to play some strong Paladin decks in the upcoming expansion. Libram Paladin looks OP.
Teron Gorefiend is a must craft for me. Will be strong in standard and ridiculous in wild.
Yeah both rogue legs look really interesting and fun to play around with!
My main concern with the Primes are that they might be too slow, especially if we get a fast meta with a lot of Demon Hunters. Hunter’s Prime being the exception due to tutors like Diving Gryphon and [Hearthstone Card (Scavenger’s Ingenuity) Not Found].
Nobody tell them about C’Thun.
(I know that they did see some play, but that didn’t last too long compared to a lot of other decks)
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Are you implying that my C'thun Hunter isn't good? Blasphemy
