Interesting Bamboozle Interaction

I wanted to share something I found interesting with you all.
I knew my opponent's secret was likely Bamboozle so I decided to attack his large Edwin VanCleef thinking "It'll still be smaller when it's a 6 drop. Turns out what it turned into was Imprisoned Antaen. The 6 drop demon when Dormant right away, yet... I still took 10 face damage as my hero attacked into a Dormant token!
I feel like this is not an intended interaction. Or if it is, it shouldn't be. You aren't supposed to be able to interact with Dormant minions, even in this instance. At least that's my opinion. Curious to hear the thoughts/opinions of the rest of you on this particular interaction.

Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Sounds like you got bamboozled.
No, that's crazy, and doesn't seem like it should be that way, but I don't know what the alternative would be. Maybe the hit is just negated altogether.
I'd expect that if the target of an attack becomes dormant during the attack, the attack would fizzle since the target is no longer valid. So this feels to me like a bug.
Its just one of those grey spots that only devs can answer. If you trade with it and it dies, does the dormant minion still gets removed from the board?
Maybe this will get clarified on twitter with Dean Ayala or something.
Did you survive long enough to see the Antaen wake up? I'd be interested to see if it took any damage from the attack, which should be retained in its dormant state.
As for whether it is intended or not, it is hard to say. Dormant rules clearly affect what can target and interact with them, and could be viewed as an extension to stealth. Since it is clearly intended that you can attack a stealth minion if it appears from Bamboozle I can picture a world where dormant behaves similarly, though I also have my doubts.
Was Edwin 10/10?
Just curious since it should transform before damage is dealt.
Interesting, really. And what's more interesting is that the interaction you've witnessed is a proof, that all dormant-related ones are inconsistent. Like in this video, hysteria uses Wild Bloodstinger and it pulls a dormant minion, but it doesn't damage it. (0:36)
I've witnessed an inconsistency myself. Yesterday I wanted to test an interaction between Psychopomp and dormant minions and it worked. But in hysteria's video Sword of Justice doesn't successfully buff a dormant minion despite losing a weapon charge, which sounds like a bug (0:54).
I checked the bug report forums for Blizzard and someone had already reported this very interaction a few days ago. Added my experience to it as well so that hopefully they will address it soon. I don't really get on Twitter, so not going to report it there. However, seems others are experiencing the issue. I'd be fine with it if the dormant minion took damage and could die on the attack similar to the way a stealth minion pulled by Bloodstinger would. But with the example in the Hysteria video, there's more than just the attack bug to work out on dormant minions.
