Historically, it's been in August. The 'Rona will have no affect on the release date.

2nd Expansions usually drop in early August, so I'd say we'll get an Anouncement mid July.
No Idea how much the Virus might have affected the Work Process though. Maybe they'll delay Everything for a few Weeks?

The trailer will probably be closer to mid July if it's releasing in August. I feel the single player adventure launched quite late? The virus could have a knock on effect *shrug*.
The first teasers for Saviors of Uldum (with Toggwaggle holding up the card with the Explorer's theme song) was actually exactly one year ago today, so we're certainly in range of them appearing.
I don't think it released late, I feel that they pushed it back a bit so players doing feel the pre-announcement slog as long as they have in previous years. I would live if they did an announcement/teaser on the last day of the Felfire Festival.

we should be getting the announcement for the announcement right after the felfire festival. Wouldnt surprised me if the new cards start streaming in around 15th July.
I was actually thinking about this the other day, and the expansion did seem a bit late, but I think they wanted to tie it in with the Felfire Festival. I would expect an announcement within a week of the Festival end.
Another thing I was thinking of earlier, I believe the new game mode should be released sometime during the next expansion cycle. And I personally felt like the solo content this time was a bit "meh!" Also, no arena rotation mid-expansion this time. So clearly they are putting more focus on the new game mode, which means they are likely waiting as long as possible to put their marketing messaging out there so they can give us an update on the status of the new mode.
