It's likely going to be an early August release, which fits in line with most previous releases.
You're fine, friend! If Blizzard holds to their current release timing (and I suspect they'd have a full on riot if they changed it now), you have at least 6 more weeks to save up again.

God this is my favorite expansion. If they are re-imagining it as a new expansion I'll be so f'ing happy!
Ever since we learned the story of these three expansions would be connected and Rafaam was the ring leader in expansion 1, I had a strong feeling the LoE team would be part of expansion 2 this year. Re-imagining LoE might not be the best way to think of it, but I know a lot of people were predicting an Uldaman type expansion next.
So yeah, there could be some similarities. Maybe instead of Bartender Bob we ride a runaway mine cart down different paths to see what additions or alterations we can make to our solo player decks! lol
Im conflicted, on one hand i hate the current game, on the other hand i want to farm gold because loe is one of my favourite expansions.

I am with Fluxflashor here.. the flavor is gong to be fantastic. Really pumped about this expansion.
I am also curious as to what the solo content will be like. Didn't we get a tidbit that said it was going to play a bit different?
We do have four non-EVIL classes for four League of Explorers members! Unfortunately, the ones we know don't exactly fit well...
Reno: ...Mage or Paladin? Since he's a Dragon?
Brann: Hunter, maybe?
Elise and Sir Finley: No idea, honestly.
Maybe they can spin it to work. Or maybe the League will recruit some help from other former friends?
Reno is definitely the paladin (well a rogueish one)
Elise will be mage
Brann will be hunter
so that leaves finley the druid
My guesses:
Brann = hunter. He has the look, the big gun etc.
Reno = Paladin. He is strong, good shoulders, and his previous card was a fully heal card (pally like heal !)
Elise = Druid. She was guide for ungoro (full beasts). She has affinity for big minions (golden monkey effect) and value (ungoro pack).
Finley = Mage. This is the weird one, I don't really know why he would be mage but why not, thats a smart murloc that can do a lot of things. The only synergy i could think of: He plays with hero powers and mage recently had a lot of cards that change the hero power or play around it.
For me this is the most logical options !
Maybe, since Paladins used to play with Murlocs for a while, will be the class for Finley?
And since Mage was the only class of the four using the singleton archetype that showed up in the first place with Reno, will be the ones to get him?
The other two seem logical, though. And if the next expansion is half as good as LoE was, we're going to have some fun days ahead.

I'd say Sir Finley will be the Hunter one, he's the one I'm most sure about - even though Hunter murloc? The only other alternative would be murloc pally, but that has no place in standard right now
Reno would be Paladin? Elise mage? Brann druid? Or maybe Elise druid - her name is Starseeker, so why not?
In the end, Brann is the odd one, at least for me
I could actually see them making the Explorers neutral but they each recruit a new team member who then fits into one of the four remaining classes.
Either way, I can't wait to see what Elise the third shuffles into our decks next!

This is gonna be such a good expansion. THE FLAVOR. The flavor is going to be incredible.
Frankly, flavor is the reason I play this game in the first place, lol. I agree that this is going to be perhaps my favorite version of the "treasure hunter and adventure" flavor we've had yet. I don't even care how good or bad the cards are, although I'm sure we have the chance at getting a cool new related mechanic.
