Honestly, as long as I can finally mass disenchant all my stuff without worrying how much I'll be losing on another nerf is all I want. I can see the power play for the cards that are being discussed, but I just can't stand hardy with any of them.
The buffs on the other hand, as a die hard lock player, I am hoping to get some gnarly stuff out of this. I know it won't be anything crazy enough to bump it to a tier 1-s level for standard, but at least it could be playable
Oh, interesting! Didn't realize it worked that way, I was kind of thinking about it from the perspective of how it would be treated in MTG. That's good info, and that makes sense.
@IksarHS Let's say you balance adjust Drek'Thar. What's the refund policy for Diamond Drek'thar owners?
@J_Alexander_HS Not sure, sounds like a hard problem for our commercial team! (Source)
I guarantee you that players who bought the diamond version will be unhappy with any solution they come up with, so the best bet they have is to avoid nerfing Drek'Thar.
I'd be very surprised if they refund players' their real money. And what do we even do for the players that bought it with gold?
On dust refund value, I personally like them to avoid nerfing Drek'Thar. Since I don't get any value if they did nerf him.
On competitive side, I would suggest nerfing Drek'Thar to either, summons two 2-cost /lower minions from deck, or summons two 2/2 stats copy of 3-cost /lower minions from deck.
Either that or, nerfing and buffing the support cards that synergies with Drek'Thar.
LOL. I didn't know that, since I've blocked the element in Adblock. So I don't really see scores anymore, and I think it's a good thing, because I can openly speak my mind without having to see/deny the aproval of people.
If they want to interact, they could do better to reply me and we'll see where that goes.
and BTW, I don't recommend using Adblock to anyone. It's just my personal tools to block certain elements in sites that I don't like.
I think one thing to keep in mind for balance reasons is not necessarily counting the amount of types of minions you've played this game; playing an amalgam on turn 3 shouldn't immediately buff all your "improved by types of minions you've played" to 10. Realistically, it should be worded "for each minion you've played of a different type this game" or "each unique minion type you've played this game"
I believe All technically counts as its own type specifically for this purpose, just that it works to satisfy any different type condition in the game. In the case of caring about minion types, minions with the All type just fill-in for any one type rather than counting as each different one all at once.
Some examples of this interaction include:
Tent Trasher won't reduce its Cost to 0, but instead just costs 1 less as normal. The Amalgam is just filling in for one minion type that isn't currently there.
N'Zoth, God of the Deep just resurrects it once and counts it as many minion type that isn't there. It doesn't count as all of them. Otherwise, all you'd just to do is just play one Amalgam and N'Zoth would resurrect it six times.
Effects like Menagerie Magician and Ringmaster's Baton will only buff a minion one time. If you have an Amalgam on board or hand as your only minion there, it won't buff it for each different minion type to buff. It just fills in for one that isn't there meaning that it would only receive one buff, and not three.
Effects like The Curator or Ringmaster Whatley won't stop drawing if it draws an Amalgam first, but instead that Amalgam just fills in for one type you haven't drawn yet regardless of what it is.
Using Amalgam of the Deep's Battlecry on another Amalgam of the Deep won't make you Discover one minion of every type, but instead it just lets you Discover one minion of any type.
So in the case of card effects like "for each minion type you've played this game", an All minion won't immediately count as every type but it just fills in for one type you don't have. We don't have any All spells in the game yet (though we probably will get one some day), but when we do, I think it's also safe to assume that it won't make Multicaster draw several cards alone, but just that your All spell will count as one type you haven't played yet.

I'm stuck at Murlocs vs Popsicooler. A team that's half Murlocs and half Dragons just isn't good enough to take these things down. Didn't get anywhere with Fire or Nature either.
I try to reduce the health of the cart first, but the damage from the rest of the bosses wipes out my team.
Gonna try Orcs next, I guess. Am I missing something?
There's a very old (and crucially budget) build with rokara/samuro/grom. Rokara with the treasure that boost her offensive rally and grom with sash. The key is to get windfury on samuro and you'll be able to comfortably take down popsicooler in turn 2.
Turn 1, you may destroy the cart, doesn't matter. Turn 2, rokara turns on offensive rally, grom hits popsicooler with shattering slam, and then completely destroy that shit with samuro attacking 4 times. After popsicooler is dead, all else is just fluff.
The problem is of course that you need windfury on samuro or otherwise its going to take 1 more turn and a huge dose of luck. Your backup can easily be murloc build, Murkeye/mutanus/murky (if you have him upgraded this becomes a whole lot easier) or morgl, which is fully capable of taking down popsicooler too, but needs some luck as well. As a backup though, they're still pretty solid.

I managed it with murlocs and fire, thanks largely to Murky getting the Assassinate 2 treasure from Elite encounters (it makes no sense thematically, but he does). As long as he hits something useful it makes things a lot easier. Obviously he can hit the boss itself, but for me he hit the fighter ally, which simplified my choices as I only had to defend against casters afterwards. So if you weren't already using him, you can try switching your murlocs up to include Murky.
I was also running Chi-ji to simultaneously provide fire damage to keep the ice cream cart's health low and keep the team alive. Popsicooler is pretty limited in what it can do while the cart is on low health, so I just ground it out slowly without taking any risks once the allies were taken out.

Two new variations of the Marine Biologist. I really like the flavor, but I'm not sure if it's interesting enough from a gameplay perspective. Let me know if you prefer it over my other two cards.
Also, I'll try giving feedback later. This is a pretty busy week for me (I'm looking for a flat to rent, so I have very limited spare time)
Yeah, I got that but as far as I understood is just board based. What you have in table is what you are buffing on that moment, I'm not saying thats unviable or unplayable but for me would be better flavor tasted having those tentacles laying everywhere :P
Let's wait, yes. I'm sure I'm talking before it's time xP

I'd like to agree but Im really hoping team5 doesn't let this off simply because they sold that skin for an absurd price. The problem with nerfing around Drek'Thar is that its simply unsustainable. It really doesn't matter much what 3 drop it summons out, even a mere two spider tanks along with a 4/4 on 4 is just ridiculous.
The correct thing to do is to nerf him so he only summons one minion instead of two. This might end up killing the card, but this is just only of those situations where its close to impossible to merely lower his powerlevel. They can also opt to nerf him to 5 mana, and change the description to summon 2 minions that costs less than 4, but I doubt they'd consider it.
Or perhaps they'd just nerf him to summon only 2 spirit wolves, which will still be good, but nowhere near as good as it is now.
4 mana, summon 2 spirit wolf which they are 2-3 taunt, so total 4 mana 4-4 + 2-3x2 total worth of stats 8-10 on turn 4 or 3 with coin?
Changed it to an epic with slightly bad stats. I also had a second idea which is more a meme but hell, why not? Axes and Swords we have plenty, hammers less so for warrior. But still enough to complete the requirement (The Unstoppable Force, Supercollider, Blacksmithing Hammer, Sulfuras, etc.)
AeroJulwin - Not bad, effect is pretty nice. However i fail to see the flavor connection.
Arkasaur - Grim Incantations is cool, though on the weaker side i'd say. Compare to Twisted Knowledge. True that one also discovers minions but it could be argued that's a good thing rather than bad. At best your card will discover 3 spells (fire, fel and shadow), so for Standard maybe it's enough. Gift of N'Zoth is better imo but R raises a correct issue. I'd say given how Tent Trasher works with amalgams that it would only count for 1 tribe per amalgam, and it always selects one you haven't played yet. Kinda like a Joker at poker. Also, very kinky art :P
A loose idea. It was pretty difficult to actually think of what effect to use to meet the criteria, but I think going for Spitelash Siren route went well enough.
