Silverback Patriarch continues to be on life-support. Considering that loot hoarder hasn't seen play in ages though, I don't put much faith in this, especially not when we have Tar Creeper back.
Well, let's get back to the age-old question: Is giving draw to your opponent worth massive mana discount? Naturalize was once terrible then became broken. Meanwhile Flamewreathed Faceless was hyped to shit and then was just average. It is a Beast at least so maybe there's some shenanigans to be had with that.
Without even seeing the Sunnken version I doubt this will be relevant....unless it heals for 10 or something.
The whole point of the Sunken cards is that you can relatively safely drop their load early on so you can dredge fast and get the payoff....This is big and slow and a prime target for silencing.
- Predation is just nuts alongside Lady S'theno. That questline deck is looking a lot scarier than it already was.
- Green-Thumb Gardener is the very first -4+Guff mana card to be revealed!! In all seriousness, this card wil be abused in some sort of degenerate otk somehow, I just haven't thought of it yet.
- Harpoon Gun is actually very interesting. Although it's not what wild beast hunter needs but it's pretty fine.
I was laughing my ass off when I saw Seafloor Gateway because it perfectly fits in a deck that I theorycrafted. Basically, the deck aims to play Mechashark and a bunch of mechs. This card makes doing both so much easier.
- Illuminate is very scary. I don't want to think about turn three Shadow Essence, please get out of my head please.
- Swordfish, Filletfighter and Gone Fishin' will bring Odd Rogue back to tier one in a new, more piratey deck. Like holy crap Swordfish is insane.
- Anchored Totem has a lot of potential. At worst, it buffs the totems from your hero power. You can copy it with Splitting Axe.
- The entire murloc package for warlock is weird. They don't aim to play a bunch of murloc at once, but buff the living crap out of them and then have a huge swing turn which is nice, but that also makes me scared of the potential for OTK murloc deck in wild.
- Don't you dare sleep on Pufferfist. IMO that this card is much better than Hench-Clan Thug AND it's a pirate. Fits perfectly in the Odd Pirate Rogue deck.
- Welp, Vicious Slitherspear is a 1 mana Naga. I guess that naga mage deck might be viable in wild too then.
- In wild, Security Automaton will be at least a 4/6 in the mech swing turns. And those swing turns happen very early so yeah I would say this card is pretty insane. You can also Call to Arms it.
Technically it's Forbidden Healing, but better. 2 heal for each mana spend, but it's rare, can be played any time and on multiple targets, it's not an echo effect, so copies can be reduced to 0 mana.
5-mana neutral draw 3. I guess we're at that point now, huh?
Makes me wonder if Murloc Shaman might get another chance, all they were lacking is a good refill options after all. Are there ways to make Murlocs cheaper?
As a Guff's "Melee" questline enjoyer, I've mixed feeling about this.
Getting some hero attack is definitely advancing my battleplan. And potentially removing a minion in the process is nice. (because one of melee druid issue is that pumping hero ATK can only remove one threat by turn by itself => it's easy to get swarmed)
But I'm not certain there's a naga I really want to play alongside it, especially on curve. And missing on the +ATK really sucks in my case. :-/
On the other hand, I appreciate deckbuilding challenge :-D
So I'll probably try using one in my singleton list in wild.
I still run Feral Rage in it; usually without synergizing with the "Choose One" keyword. So Seaweed Strike could end up being a nice upgrade.
Swap with what? Each other? I guess that could be a funny meme, just kind of sscamming your opponent and giving your big spells ultra-cost reduction. Might be woth a try in Big Spell Mage.
You must mean Scabbs Cutterbutter. But no one has actually complained about Tickatus recently, and it never got nerfed. That means Team 5 must think it is reasonable. Also a three-card combo involving two legendaries is harder to pull off than a corrupted Tickatus.
Aaaand there it is. That's it. Kazakusan Warrior will dominate and the Charge build might as well. Run double Viper in every deck unless you want them to draw 5 cards with each Outrider's Axe.
New Neutral Minion - Treasure Guard
Silverback Patriarch continues to be on life-support. Considering that loot hoarder hasn't seen play in ages though, I don't put much faith in this, especially not when we have Tar Creeper back.
New Neutral Minion - Helmet Hermit
Silence priest.
New Neutral Minion - Pufferfist
STOP
PRINTING
GOOD PIRATES
Jesus Christ, Why do they hate Wild so much? I don't even play Wild and still I am offended.
New Priest Spell - Whispers of the Deep
Silence Priest, never give up! One day, you'll be a real archetype!
But honestly, this card is perfect against freeze.
New Neutral Minion - Selfish Shellfish
4-mana 7/7
4-mana 7/7

Anchored Totem
Are your Lackeys lacking?
Reminder: this work for all your token totems
Hydralodon
oh my god the heads SUMMON MORE HEADS
THAT'S INSANE maybe, probably. but it's a control card for Hunter, will it see play?
or will it be the win con for mid-range Hunter
New Neutral Minion - Azsharan Sentinel
Without even seeing the Sunnken version I doubt this will be relevant....unless it heals for 10 or something.

Twin-fin Fin Twin
how⚒long⚒can⚒this⚒go⚒on⚒
And I thought Hog Rancher was good for a neutral
Hearthstone's Voyage to the Sunken City's Remaining Card Reveals Have Arrived - 46 New Cards Revealed

- From the Depths is quite scary. Combined with Sir Finley, Sea Guide and you have a massively discounted hand.
- Obsidiansmith. Yeh.
- Don't you dare sleep on Pufferfist. IMO that this card is much better than Hench-Clan Thug AND it's a pirate. Fits perfectly in the Odd Pirate Rogue deck.

5-mana neutral draw 3. I guess we're at that point now, huh?
Makes me wonder if Murloc Shaman might get another chance, all they were lacking is a good refill options after all. Are there ways to make Murlocs cheaper?
New Druid Spell - Seaweed Strike
As a Guff's "Melee" questline enjoyer, I've mixed feeling about this.

New Neutral Minion - Helmet Hermit
But why?
What purpose does this have?
New Neutral Minion - Vicious Slitherspear
Will see play for being a 1-mana Naga in the respective decks. Don't see the effect being all that relevant though.
New Neutral Minion - Vicious Slitherspear
Neutral Mana Wyrm (almost) lol.
Helmet Hermit
Ancient Watcher 0.5
New Neutral Minion - Twin-fin Fin Twin
That'S some good payoff for the Handbuff Murlock deck if it ends up working out. Still relatively okay at base if you need the damage.
New Neutral Minion - Mothership
Sounds bad unless you somehow cheat it out early. Maybe good in Arena?
New Druid Minion - Dozing Kelpkeeper
Sleeper of the set!
New Warrior Spell - Guard the City
Because Control Warrior just needed defensive tempo plays to really fuck you out of the early game even harder.
Return to a board-based meta they said...I guess it counts if only one side ever gets to have a board.
Filletfighter
I'm just glad this isn't a 1/3
New Warrior Spell - Forged in Flame
Aaaand there it is. That's it. Kazakusan Warrior will dominate and the Charge build might as well. Run double Viper in every deck unless you want them to draw 5 cards with each Outrider's Axe.
Might even make Gorehowl meta...
