Feels like (4) 4/4 is a bit slow, but squeezing out an extra turn of Crusader's or Deputization Aura is pretty good, especially when they made the rule change to allow stacking multiples of the same aura.
We're losing some of the stronger divine shield cards with rotation, so idk. Definitely something to keep an eye on for alter expacs though.
Cards that are already strong don't benefit from the buff as much as smaller minions. I'd often rather bump a 2/3 up to 4/6 than make an 8/8 into a 10/11. The big guy was already killing anything it might fight, but the little guy is now an actual threat where it wasn't before.
Honestly really good at maintaining the pressure/presenting the threat of buffing a dude. Even there are quite a few duds (Origami Dragon comes to mind), just having an extra dude on board when people are trying to deny Shroomcavate + Buff lethals can make the difference.
I'm not a fan of any of the "Wind-up" cards this expansion, mostly because Stormwind's miniset has already shown how slow the whole Trade to Upgrade can really be. That said, probably more potential in Highlander since you can sort of fetch the minion out with Mirages (just don't trade the Mirage into your deck).
These days, there are more potential handbuff/deckbuff targets than ever. Cheating this out is a worthwhile goal, but I'm pretty sure you'll be happy to play it at full Cost in many cases -- assuming you built your deck correctly.
Probably just an Okay card, certainly will make appearances here and there in Highlander lists, but somehow I doubt there will be a dedicated Handbuff Paladin deck. But hey, Lifesteal weapon, potentially setting up a buffed up Leeroy for lethal later, I'm all in for that.
Even ignoring the Miniaturize Keyword, if Shudderblock isn't broken this expansion, he's almost certain to break the next one. The fact that you also get a (1) 1/1 that does the exact same tripler effect is similarly crazy. I'm just glad that the balance team had the forethought to add that "can't damage enemy heroes" as the only drawback, and force people to be more creative.
On it's own, it's a odd Survival of the Fittest type of card. But then you can tutor it with the new Hagatha, and then triple the resulting Slime's battlecry with Shudderblock, and suddenly you have a board and deck that gives other Handbuff decks a run for their money!
Big Spell Tutoring without the usual Big Spells only deck building requirement! The big spells introduced with this expansion look particularly juicy too!
New Paladin Minion - Pipsi Painthoof
Seems like a good Big Paladin card, albeit a rather weak pull from Dancing King Kangor.
New Paladin Minion - Cardboard Golem

New Paladin Spell - Fancy Packaging

New Shaman Minion - Sand Art Elemental
Normally I'd think this is just an Okay card, but combining it with Turn the Tides does give out a lot of damage.
New Shaman Minion - Shudderblock
Can't wait to see the n00bs wasting the Battlecry on the mini. (Spoiler: It won't do anything.)
New Shaman Spell - Pop-Up Book
Fantastic value when played just before Wish Upon a Star, but still quite good without it.
New Paladin Spell - Crafter's Aura
Honestly really good at maintaining the pressure/presenting the threat of buffing a dude. Even there are quite a few duds (Origami Dragon comes to mind), just having an extra dude on board when people are trying to deny Shroomcavate + Buff lethals can make the difference.
New Shaman Location - Fairy Tale Forest
I love Locations, and I especially love Locations that draw cards. Now we have one that can tutor?! This is an absolute game-changer.
New Shaman Spell - Baking Soda Volcano
I have a feeling 10 damage is going to feel very small and pitiful in the coming year, especially if you're counting on this as a full clear.
New Paladin Minion - Wind-Up Enforcer
I'm not a fan of any of the "Wind-up" cards this expansion, mostly because Stormwind's miniset has already shown how slow the whole Trade to Upgrade can really be. New Paladin Weapon - Painter's Virtue

New Shaman Minion - Shining Sentinel
Get it buffed up with Wish Upon a Star and suddenly the opponent needs to start hard running Twisted Nether or Brawl.
New Shaman Spell - Once Upon a Time...
Just a board filler. Not a bad one mind you, you do get a good amount of stats for the cost, but it doesn't really have much utility outside of that.
New Shaman Spell - Wish Upon a Star
On it's own, it's a odd Survival of the Fittest type of card. But then you can tutor it with the new Hagatha, and then triple the resulting Slime's battlecry with Shudderblock, and suddenly you have a board and deck that gives other Handbuff decks a run for their money!
New Shaman Spell - Baking Soda Volcano
Any Shaman deck that's even considering going slow is already planning on putting two copies of this into their deck.
New Shaman Location - Fairy Tale Forest
Somewhat slow cycling, but getting a discount on powerful Battlecries makes up for it.
New Shaman Spell - Pop-Up Book
Good early defensive card, also shouldn't ignore how annoying 0/1 taunts can be in blocking board lethal.
New Shaman Minion - Hagatha the Fabled
Big Spell Tutoring without the usual Big Spells only deck building requirement! The big spells introduced with this expansion look particularly juicy too!

I know! Also, Pi is 3,14 so it wouldn't make much sense either.

I was hoping to try it out last night, as I finally had free time on my hands : " Tavern Brawl Temporarily Disabled ... "
Not my lucky day!
