That's very strange. I had auto downloads disabled myself, but upon checking for updates the B.net client found and installed the new patch just fine. Not even restarting it helps any? I'll try to keep an eye on any similar reports.
No, no, it's just for Duels this time around. Arena rotation might happen in a few weeks once they are ready to release the mini-set (but that's just my assumption).
Well, another patch means another chance to get disappointed apparently. Known issue of the latest patch states:
The Immovable Object remains… unmoved. Unfortunately, we were not able to fix the bug with the “You Are Not Worthy” achievement in Patch 22.2. The fix is being worked on and planned for a future update.
I mean seriously WTF? They might as well skip the fix already. Just add the related XP amount to all our accounts. Be done with it once and for all 😤
R: Is this total mana or remaining? Pretty good if the former, not so much if the latter.
If it was unspent mana, then I would have written it that way. But this is equal to the maximum mana for this turn. Do I need to write it in some other way?
Too weak if it comes at the end of the game. I don't think such a card can exist.
Wailor
Simple card with nice flavor. I like it.
AeroJulwin
That's reallt good.
Nirast
So how do you imagine this card in such brawl? I go with a coin and play it on the second turn and fill my hand with copies of this card from the deck, and on the third turn I play another one and they are all summoned from the hand?
My desktop client won't update to the latest patch. I'm still at 22.0.2 and even when I click Check for Updates in the BattleNet client, it says it's up to date! WTF is happening?
linkblade91: I assume this only upgrades in hand. Not sure it would be played because of the randomness, I'd either start at 0 Cost, or 2-Cost minion (leaning towards the latter), though it'd probably be too good in either case. You'd also lose some points because there's so many implicit effects that people might not consider at first glance.
Wailor: Should probably say 'Studies card'. Pretty good otherwise.
R: Is this total mana or remaining? Pretty good if the former, not so much if the latter.
AeroJulwin: As an Evolve Shaman enjoyer, I LOVE this! Wonder if it'd be too strong at 2.
Hopefully most options for all other classes will feel better now with these nerfs and Rogues not dominating, we'll try to look into a more extensive list come tomorrow (sorry it's been slow on that front, a busy month)!
I think this game just got released and right now has the best economy in all of the TCG in the market BY FAR. It's insane how much resources you generate (although that could be a business decision given the release).
The 1 card = 3 cards of the same rarity is pretty healthy and reasonable. Most of the games have a ratio of at least 4. And the required resources for generating each card is very low (only 30) so it's quite easy to accumulate enough points from the rewards you get by the rewards track (don't know how it's called)
Regarding yugi mechanics. I believe that since they don't seem to like the idea of adding a Mulligan, they really should print better draw options for control decks, and limit a little bit how much agro decks can cycle. Some matches feel like if you had a bad hand, you lost at turn 1 or 2. No skill cap there, just RNG.
The client just isn't synced properly (it should change to show 2 days very soon, at least on mobile where patch arrives later), guess they cannot do that without manual adjustment. Perhaps Thursday was their original date.
When you hit legend, the actual ranking of the opponent is displayed. I'm hunting achievments and noticed that the most I lose games, the lower are the rankings of my opponents. But I don't know if the same is true when we've not hit legend, since the rankings are not displayed and I haven't noticed any decrease in the rate of T1 decks I was playing against, even losing a lot of games when I was in Diamond 5-1.
Because I was glad to see my "feelings" were actually correct with corroborating data? Sorry, I fail to see why I need your validation/excitement in order to make a statement about something.
Anyway, it's nice to see Blizzard has wised up and started letting outside content creators handle some major reveals. When insiders write the script and deliver the message, it has been a problem because those people already understand everything about the new product, so they tend to leave out important details or fail to emphasize key points.
Handing it to a fresh pair of eyes with no existing knowledge allows that person to explain everything from a perspective all players will be able to grasp. Additionally, a streamer has much closer contact with players, so they know what kinds of questions players are likely to ask and which information the players will find valuable.
My phone is not agreeing with Imgur, so here's a temporary image.
I imagine it being discounted for use in a Brawl. Of course it's going to be a bit RNG-heavy, but that's what makes Brawls fun! Wouldn't you just love having an ever-evolving board? In constructed it's a less abusable Evolve. My only concern is the spell school, since evolving generally uses Nature or no school.
Aggro decks tend to be cheap in all card games. Aggro will always be viable. Hunter will always be the default aggro class due to its hero power. None of this is news. I guess I just don't understand the excitement about seeing it represented in "data."
As we all know, Shaman is not in a strong spot right now. Thrall simply can't keep up with Illidan's early-game tempo, or Valeera's value. However, I feel like Shaman has the tools to fight for a spot in the meta anyway. Besides Totem Shaman and Evolve Shaman, which already have a small (but unimpressive) role in the meta, I feel like there is room for a third Shaman deck, based around two few specific, very powerful cards - Hier ist ein Blick auf den natürlichen Zaun.Squallhunter and Serpentshrine Portal. These cards give you so much extra burst to finish out games when combined with each other or with cards like Lightning Bolt and Lava Burst, which your opponents won't see coming.
Spearheaded by a friend of mine, he made this spell-damage focused deck:

First idea for the week:
Not sure if allowing it to work with any SI:7 card makes this broken, so I made a version that only works with itself.
