Not to bandwagon, but I've been saying this since the 3rd day of the release about Warlocks. The Demon Seed should be balanced by requiring more of a health dump into it. With the Stealer of Souls, the concept was amazingly great, but short sighted when it came to how easily Warlock can manipulate their health in Wild.
Even in standard, that questline is relatively easy to maintain. The only things that really keep it in check are Face Hunter and Handbuff Paladin, which both have their own nemeses.
In regards to other statements made, I do like the idea of helping to encourage new players and reIgniteing (sorry, not sorry. Great opportunity for that one) previous players back into the game without needing a financial endeavor. I started playing when this game first came out and stopped before GVG. I was irritated at the fact that those that been playing more avidly had been trouncing me with the cards that they bought as opposed to earned.
I got reintroduced with Journey into Un'Goro and although I loved it, I still had a difficult time trying to get a competitive deck to play with due to so many cards being introduced during my sabbatical. Doing something to help ease this tension would be amazing.
One thought that I would like to see is Whizbang the Wonderful becoming evergreen in Core Sets. This concept has been dragged through the trenches so much it's obscene at this point to rehash it. That being said, this would allow returning/new players to try the new sets and recent cards without outright giving them access to those cards. The out of the box constructed decks are not overly dominating, but competitive enough to play through lower level tiers and perhaps do a little laddering.
If that concept bothers people too much, doing something as simple as making the core and prefab decks playable by all players would be fine enough as well. Like I stated previously, this would help ease the tension of having to come back into the game with less than enough good cards to build a deck or two and help new players learn some of the more unique strategies.
Ideally, the game should allow to have a balance between the trifecta of Aggro vs. Combo vs. Control indeed. However, the new questlines have made it impossible for Control players to have any fun at this moment which is not ok at all.
As for the Win 5 games of ranked play mode weekly quest, I just played Questline Druid in Wild 5 times which really kicks the asses out of the other rampant Questline combo decks (solid 69% winrate) and be done with the ladder until the new weekly quests arrive again. Of course, this is still not a Control deck, but it does feel somewhat enjoyable to stomp the current meta decks very efficiently for the 3000 XP (with 20% XP boost). Perhaps you could try to do the same as I did.
The overall winrate of this deck is still increasing, though slower than I expected. Questline Warlocks are still rampant in Wild and its main counter (Odd) Questline Hunter is also frequently encountered. Luckily for us, Questline Druid beat these decks quite easily. Especially now, since some of the Questline Warlocks have dropped the giants which was their only chance to beat us.

Finally got around to trying That Which Has No Life again in Duels using CookieMawnster's deck. The only game I managed to assemble the sword in was Game 1, but that was enough to get the achievement. Ended it on Twilight's Call into Shadow Word: Horror into swing before the animations all resolved (as per @dapperdog's suggestion).
I've almost run out of achievements that are doable without crafting epic/legendary cards. Has anyone been offered any key achievement cards in Duels (e.g. Bolner Hammerbeak, The Rat King, or Grand Magus Antonidas)? That was a big part of how I completed the Sayge and Shek'zara achievements, but I haven't seen any of the legendaries I've been looking for so far in Duels.
So, here I am with Lv.20 still, I tried my best at summoning any incentives to play Hearthstone again to no avail. What makes it worse is that I don't want to follow the trend and play Aggro or combo (I still prefer Control deck to this point), to the point where winning 5 ranked felt impossible last week. Maybe I'll fail at it again this week.
So yeah. I'm not gonna play any more Hearthstone until they change the game to favor all kind of deck. It's not much to ask is it not?
Hats off for your apology and trying to come back better, that takes some courage.
I'd like to drop my 2 cents about Wild:
At the time of writing this, I still haven't decided if I like the new meta or not. On the plus side, Stormwind was a huge shake up. As far as I can tell, there's only a handful of decks left that were good before and still are now. Seedlock is the new Secret Mage, the only difference being that there aren't many tech cards to beat them (like Flare, Chief Inspector, Eater of Secrets, SI:7 Infiltrator, Horde Operative, Kezan Mystic help you to beat Secret Mage). It is possible to beat them with a variety of decks but you have to draw lucky. I've been bouncing between legend 1.000 and 2.000 on EU for the last week and tried out lots of different stuff. All I can tell for sure is that the meta is far from settled and Seedlock is the most consistent deck right now. Decks that worked well for me were QL Druid (Odd or regular), Odd QL Hunter, QL Pirate Warrior, Even Tax Paladin and Celestial Druid. I'm seeing more and more Token decks (Murloc Shaman, Token Druid), Kingsbane Rogue is okay-ish, Mozaki Mage is still good because of double Ice Block, Shaman has a great QL deck with Spirit of the Frog that I'm just too stupid to pilot (but there's hope in form of a Big hybrid). I also have a good feeling about Even Handlock once the meta slows down a bit. The only class that looks like it's completely dead in Wild is Demon Hunter. So what I'm trying to say is that we're still trying out what's good and what isn't in Wild and that may take a while because Questlines have a similar impact like Genn and Baku had in their day.
On the downside, Warlock is very annoying to play against and Control is dead, especially all the Reno decks - but that might as well be a Sunken Cost Fallacy speaking here.

Correct on Rexxar but you are still avoiding the first line. Once you open that door up it's just a couple pages to find the answer. Better hurry!
