Unfortunately, if you like to play CCGs so you can run slower, board-centric or control decks, you're just not going to find a home in this metagame. But there are several very cheap aggro options that you could play to beat the Warlock decks (Aggro Shaman and Face Hunter each cost about 1200 dust), and you can spend this time gaining gold and dust so that whenever the next nerfs come through to sort things out, you'd be able to build a deck you like better.
Also, I know for a lot of players (myself included) it feels bad dusting old cards, but if your daughter's account had a collection a couple of years ago that has all rotated out to Wild, those could be dusted to build more expensive decks for Standard.
So the video pretty much confirmed that prank works on cards in hands and only if the opponent has less than 2 cards in hands target cards in the deck?
It's really a powerfull effect if that is the case
Not my thing, but I can see the potential. I like buffing units, though, so...maybe I'll give her a shot.
Oh and Riot: maybe don't have your showcase video rely on randomness lol. If she wasn't lucky with Ebb and Flow, Nami would have lost Fizz to GP. Just sayin'.
Trump did a F2P run a few expansions ago, and is doing one now. It seems to take him about two weeks to get a couple of meta decks. I believe it took him a month to hit Legend? Either way, I imagine the more "game sense" you have, the easier it is to complete these quests with bad decks and get into the meta faster. New and returning players will not have this "'game sense" and therefore struggle more.
Nami now that's a champion that I haven't see in a while. It looks like she is going to be playing more of a supportive role, not my favorite type of gameplay but it fit's her.
More importantly it looks like Ahri is going to be the Ionian champion.
Everyone is allowed to express their opinion and said opinion can be criticized by everyone.
The whole "the champion gameplay is not what expected so it suck" is not what I would call feedback.
Saying that that Sion is Draven 2.0 because they revolve around the discard mechanic don't make any sense, it's like saying the Rek'Sai is Pyke 2.0 because they both have lurk. Draven function as an early game pressure unit who's role is to get good trades and generate some value while doing so. Sion is the opposite he is late game finisher, he is meant to be discarded early game to buff himself and allies then played late game to finish the enemy with big overwhelm attacks. if anything they look to synergies well with one another.
I am not here to make fun of anyone but if disagree with some statement I am gonna say it. And I won't be telling anyone to shut up because they criticize something I said.
Man...I wanna try Lux/Nami...but Demacia/Bilgewater is such an awkward faction combo for spell focused decks...If anyone drops a midrange unit you just look at it awkwardly and think of how you wish you had the Shadow Isles.
Anyone uses Lothar in their decks? So far I don't recall seeing any in the players I have encountered, whether in Wild or Standard.
I used Lothar in a Wild big recruit warrior. That had reasonable success, although it was during the experimentation period when the meta hadn't solidified yet. I'm not sure how well it would fare now, but it was quite a lot of fun. Here's the deck (the Blatant Decoys made The Boomship unnecessary, so that can definitely be replaced):
I finally mopped up the last Storwind achievements yesterday (except the Demon Seed one, I refuse to touch that card), and am just shy of level 75. Mostly I'm looking forward to not having to play in ranked anymore; the more I can do to avoid warlocks, the better.
