I wanted to buy the 20 bundle but i can't, i have paypal but without a card on it so i cant pay with my paypal even if there is enough money on it. And i dont have credit card, so basicly, i can't give blizzard money even if i want to...
I personally think it's more likely that they create new versions of existing champions, like how Hearthstone has done for a lot of legendaries like Deathwing and Elise Starseeker. I just don't see how they could possibly introduce 10 LoR exclusive champions every major expansion once they've included all champions from League, and not releasing any new champions also seems like a bad option since that will make new expansions severely less exciting and impactful.
So, we make a Bandle City deck with The Bandle Tree. Then we include Teemo, Fizz, and Lulu in the deck. This gets us up to 4 regions already, so we only need 6 procs from the Tree in order to win the game, because we already know that we'll definitely draw one copy each of the three champions, and have the Tree to drop exactly on turn 5.
They don't have a proper system set in stone because of how regions work. (They need to introduce more cards for the new regions but that's a lot of cards at once so they split it up) When they introduce a new region into the game, they split it up into three parts and these are called expansions whereas a set is a compilation of the 3. Each part consists of cards of the new region, and additional cards for 3 of the other regions while some other regions maybe get a card or two, and they do this three times. This is done usually over the course of 6 months.
So if you're counting "full" expansions it's about 2 per year. However if you're counting mini-expansions, there's about 6 of those per year and not to mention there are also champion expansions where they introduce a new batch of cards for a specific champion or two (kinda like the latest event). There's supposedly a lot of these sprinkled throughout the year so about 8 expansions introducing 40-50 new cards with 2 introducing 100+.
It's complicated and there are a lot of people who have shown clear disapproval of the system due to imbalance and "missing" cards when they introduce only 1/3rd of the full region. However, this system probably is not going to be set in stone because Bandle City is the 10th and final region in the game. So they'll probably scrap the system once this is finished.
Hope they add in the future the time based one on weeks 2 to 7 (the one from 2 years ago where there is a chance for a pack after a certain interval) after the 2 packs.
I dont think I've ever seen the win rate for going first be so radically different than second. But it makes sense. The unfortunate mess we have today is that the quest rewards ends games the following turn its played. So if going first means the quest reward drops 1 turn earlier, then obviously going first would be radically different than second.
Looking forward to that nerf list next week team5. In the meantime I'll be casually watching GM and waiting for that oh so wonderful turn 2 Incanter's Flow that'll be rolling every GM's eyes and tickling every caster's belly because that's the very peak of skillful play from that deck.
Just a question from a non LoR player. How many expansions does LoR get per year? Its like for every one hearthstone expansion I'll be seeing two of these.
This is the one time Im going to do this. If anyone hold up stats in front of my face, I'll tell them to fuck off.
Why? Because mage isn't on the top of the list, and we all know damn well its broken as hell and only countered by aggro decks and nothing else. And even then that can easily turn around with a simple Incanter's Flow on 2.
Ive never had an experience as bad as when I see mage play incanter's flow. I'll have 'uncounterable' barrens secret paladin anyday. Hell, just unnerf crabrider, because if it destroys that bloody class it'll be worth it.
It's weird seeing a priest deck where the only source of health gain is from neutral cards, including hero power. That being said, this looks fun, I'm looking forward to trying this out!
wtf... I played 10 times Elemental shaman and lost every single game. The quest decks have enough removal and remove EVERY SINGLE minion you play. and Facehunter is just destroying you before you can react. Kodo Pack hunter is so strong... So, how is this deck the second best in Blizzards stats?

Probably irrelevant, but I am pretty sure that the VA for Ava in the trailer is Lara Jill Miller. I can't unhear it.

And complicated it certainly sounds like. Interesting though. It'll be like hearthstone releasing the expansions by groups of classes every 2 months.
Thanks for the explanation.

Each year we will usually get two major expansions and two mini-expansion. The major ones tend to be divided into 3 sets.
