wtf... I played 10 times Elemental shaman and lost every single game. The quest decks have enough removal and remove EVERY SINGLE minion you play. and Facehunter is just destroying you before you can react. Kodo Pack hunter is so strong... So, how is this deck the second best in Blizzards stats?
Aggro decks are also very beatable by the current roster of Control decks, but most of them can't beat Combo decks in any capacity. The closest is Shadow Control Priest and that's only because Illucia can instawin against Rogues and Demon Hunters and at least has a shot against the Quest decks.
In my opinion there should never be more than 2 viable combo decks, because anything more than that and the meta quickly warps around trying to counter those.
Right now we have at least 4 and that's evidently too much.
They seem desperate, clearly Activision needs money to pay all those defense attorneys... Come on guys, they need your money!
The expansion came out just a week ago and they are already milking customers with an overpriced bundle?Pathetic...But do you know what is even more pathetic?Paying money for the current state of the game.Maybe Blizzard should worry about fixing the game first, before milking us for cash...
This game costs more than any other game if you buy all the bundles for each expansion... and even then you are not guaranteed to have the complete collection. I'm sure Blizzard is easily milking some people 500 to 1000 bucks a year, which is absurd.
I'm a whale, I'm addicted to buying all the bundles for the mere fact of buying everything they put on sale, but enough is enough, I can't give them so much money anymore when I see all these women and men treated like shit. Also, when I see that Bobby receives a $ 100,000,000 bonus, it means that I am paying too much for his product. I'm not going to be a part of this greedy mob. Not anymore.
Aggro is so good at the moment because control "has no chance" because of the super fast combo decks. Aggro decks are traditionally the best counter to combo decks. If the combo decks get nerfed control decks will become more viable and therefore weaken the position of aggo decks in the meta.
So if someone wants to make control decks better he or she has to root for combo nerfs not for aggro nerfs.
Went with Ping Priest and added Insight, Auspicious Spirits and Circus Medic. Did not end up playing Y'Shaarj once in my run. Felt like I could have gone 12 wins with Rally the troops but lost to a Pally with Stargazing and a Murloc Shaman who got my Thoughtsteal into Shadow Vision into give Lifesteal to his board the turn I had lethal. Enjoying the challenge so far and will try a different deck since I really want to get to play Y'Shaarj at least once :). All my runs are Heroic btw.
From what we've been told, this is it: 10 regions is the limit, and going forward they'll just be filling out the existing regions with more cards. I doubt they would go back on it and add an 11th region: they'd run the risk of spreading themselves too thin.
Still not sure how successful Bandle City will be, to be honest: there are 13 Yordles in League of Legends at the moment, to be fair, with another on the way, but not all of them are associated with the exclusively-Yordle region. Poppy and Kled, for example, seem to have no ties to Bandle City. After the Yordles dry up, what then? No humans or monsters seem to exist in the region; they'd have to start making stuff up at that point.
I'm kind of disappointed with the information (or lack there of) for Wild decks. IT's like a quick @mention in an email almost to say, "Oh yeah, and this is cool".
I'm a die hard wild player. I love the different things that come about from using old deck strategies with the new cards and abilities that come out with the new sets. I've seen some really dominating decks get dusted by the inclusion of only a handful of new cards because they synergize so well with existing card strategies.
As for balance strategies for the current standard meta, I'm hoping that they leave them alone for the most part unless something becomes completely overwhelming across the board. Getting mad at things like Aggro Hunter being dominating right now is pointless since that is exactly how the class is supposed to act... aggressively. But let's call it what it is, with Incanter's Flow still making it possible for Mage decks to rely less and less on a 10 mana crystal cap to pull off powerful spells, that is a target for sure if any balance changes are needed.

Celestalon did say that Auctioneer Quest Mage would be on the list if more people played it and more people played it well.

My best run ever is 5 wins, so I think I'll be sitting this one out. Good luck to those who do enter.
From the rest of the article, I gather you meant as long as it's 12 wins. I want to ask: why?

With Vex coming in September to league were going to have 14 Yordle champions and Yummi is also from Bandle city.

I remember them saying LoR will start having exclusive Champs. There's really no other way to go, unless LoL decides to machine-gun new ones.

I prefer to think of it as an alternative nerf to the original Wild Growth. It would certainly mean playing a little differently with it.
I also wonder how it'd interact with the free card draw similar cards give when you're at 10 mana.

Targon and Bilgewater are running out of champions as well so we might get some curious inclusions in the not-so-distant future.
