It's winrates, but not playrates (they've nerfed decks before based on the latter, and general perception). Also it's about how the entire meta shapes up with everything considered together. Naturally many decks will be used in order to counter Quest Mage/non-Zoo Quest Lock, and in turn decks that match those counters get seen more.
I bought a couple bundles back in 2019/early 2020 myself. I've probably only spend around $100 ever on this game, and I haven't spend a cent in over a year. They still offered me the whale bundle.
Pretty sure this is still just across all ranks. Quest Mage requires way more game knowledge to properly pilot (aside from skillfully topdecking Flow on 2 ofc). Never mind, I can't read.
I'd be very surprised if Quest Mage doesn't end up getting nerfed in some way, even if it's just Flow (which is probably enough at this point unless they also want to make a full control meta happen.
Aggro Hunter is really predictable and easy to beat as long as you're not playing a combo deck without healing. It's fairly easy to outtempo once you get past the initial onslaught and any sort of burst healing shuts it down.
Super interesting that quest mage isn't on the top 1% - I wonder if that means it'll avoid the balance changes. Aggro Hunter sitting at 57% seems oppressive
Currently at level 38. My quest to complete the rewards track has begun!
I've been playing a lot of Quest Warrior in both Standard and Wild. The Wild deck is an Odd list I got from Roffle, and it's been so-so but a lot of fun. You basically complete the quest, play Brann Bronzebeard + Cap'n Rokara to get two The Juggernauts causing havoc in the late game.
I've been fooling around with Aggro Shadow Priest too, but it's pretty boring to play. I might tinker around with Quest Druid since I recently unpacked that questline, and I'm gonna try out Odd Questline Hunter as well.
@Alleria, I expected this RT:CP thread would be created by either you or me if noone else would. So, this means you arrived in Stormwind before I did 😄
Yeah, I figured it would be between you and me, I was just more impatient :D Good luck for your grind!
@h0lysatan sorry to hear that. One way or another, I hope you´ll find something you enjoy, be it HS or something else :)
For me, doing achievements is what´s keeping me interested. Doing it in casual Duels is quick and fun for me, I can even discover epics/legendaries I don´t own (looking at you Ignite and Grand Magus Antonidas :P)
It's close, they are similar in their stats, I would argue the 1 attack is more important that the health but it could go either way. You often have troll chants or battle fury to help your units survive.
Much of the removal you have suggested is conditional, and only has a good effect after something has happened that turn (unit died, plunder etc.)
If you play thrumming swarm and attack with it on the same turn, 4 damage instant removal is not as common outside some double mystic shot hands.
If you play thrumming swarm and open attack the following turn, you are essentially ignoring all the removal that would supposedly kill this.
In any case, your big overwhelm units are either getting blocked, or stunned/frozen. With the latter it doesn't matter either way, but if they are being blocked then every bit of overwhelm damage matters.
Alpha is better suited to aggro metas (currently) whereas thrumming is better vs control

That would kill its viability in Standard until it rotates.
Here's my dream, ban cards in wild semi frequently, then release a format even wilder than wild with no banned or nerfed cards.

yeah, just like Priest didn't get nerfed because it had sub 50 winrate below Legend.
If Flow doesn't get shafted this time we're not going to see another Control deck until the next rotation.
The only reason Mage even performs this badly is because there's like 3 other OTK decks and everyone's trying their hardest to counter them.

I hope not; it should just be slowed down
and making it hit you makes its pretty darn terrible.
I think the quest is intresting/unique, and i think shoudl remain playable and not be gutted or get warsonged

Yes, it's there for Tuskpiercer to draw and then you shuffle it back into the deck.

My wish:
Changing Flesh Giant to 10 or even 12 mana.
This would nerf Darkglare Warlock and Quest Warlock at the same time while the giant should still be playable, but not be "op" anymore.
