  • New Druid Minion - Deviate Dreadfang

Very nice big beast with a more reliable effect that Exotic Mountseller. Thing is, it's a fair card and evening with Living Seed (Rank 1) I doubt it will launch beast druid onto the map. It'll definitely see experimentation in CA druid, but I doubt the beast druid archetype has legs to stand, maybe not yet.

  • Goblins vs Gnomes and Kobolds & Catacombs Joins Hearthstone's Arena Rotation This Week

Time to start a run but not finish it for the free pack.

  • Honest Hearthstone Cards (Game)

It took three and a half months, but I finally assembled all 5 pieces of the puzzle!

  • New Druid Minion - Fangbound Druid

Nice beast and taunt support, but still quite lackluster, think we need more support, but this card is heading in the right direction - more mana cheating, yay!

  • Blizzard Launches the Pride Collection on the Gear Store to Show Your Pride

If that is the case and you are a guy. It is gay so it is for the cause.

  • New Druid Minion - Lady Anacondra

CA shenanigans aside, it's a decent minion with lots of health so it should survive for a turn but it does have that "must kill" pseudo taunt. Looking forward to experimenting with this lady in some miracle druid list (and maybe with CA coz it sounds fun)

  • New Rogue Spell - Savory Deviate Delight

I love it, also because of the flavor of it. It was one of my sources of income in early WoW.

  • New Druid Minion - Lady Anacondra

This looks hella strong - right now one of the best things i can think of is to play this in Celestial Druid - but could also work in some sort of Nature Buff Druid but i think this will be stronger in Celestial lists.

  • New Druid Minion - Fangbound Druid

Looks solid. Decent Stats and could work to cheat out bigger Minions like the new 4/9 for example.

    Decent Card overall.

  • New Druid Minion - Deviate Dreadfang

Well if this gets discounted with for example the guy who makes taunt minions cheaper or in some other way then yeah, this card can be freakin strong.

Or if you ramp fast enough but on it`s own without cheating this out earlier i think it will be to slow.

  • New Rogue Spell - Savory Deviate Delight

Pretty interesting Card - could work in some Kind of Aggro Maybe Pirate / Stealth Rogue. Not sure tough if this will see much Play otherwise but i think a 1 mana Hand disruption spell is still good on it's own.

Well he didn't say it was, did he.

Hog Rancher? (Boar-d... It's been a theme lately)

  • All Forged in the Barrens Mini-Set "Wailing Caverns" Card Reveals for June 1

Savory Deviate Delight is not even a druid card

  • CONCERNEDMOM's Ragnaros Priest

Not exactly the same, but I had an old meme deck that I originally made around one of the Fire Festivals and the entire deck was built around getting multiple copies of Ragnaros on board with a Drakkari Enchanter to watch fire rain down on your opponent like it was a second Cataclysm!  It did pretty well for a while, but as is would likely be freaking awful right now.

Perhaps with some updating it could live again.  It's here if anyone is curious and wants to give it a look.  I could usually get 3 Rags and Drakkari if I had time to set up, but I think I got 4 Rags and the Drakkari in one and only one game over the time that I played it.

  • New Balance Patch

I agree with you on a lot of that, pretty much all of it. In my opinion having more ambitious changes should be their approach, because if they did so regularly then they wouldn't even need to worry about going over board. That deck would go down for a bit and could come back up next patch when they gave the deck a boost to bring it back up a bit. I'm not asking for them to solve the balance for the game. I am just asking that they keep things fresh and interesting like they implied they intended to back when they started the game.

As for the other decks I agree with that as well. I think TLC is the worst offender outside of Azirelia and if that deck isn't addressed then a meta shift is impossible since that deck serves as a gate keeper for anything that tries to go for the long haul. I used HS as an example but you are right that they have been more aware and more proactive, though that has been pretty recent and up until then they built a bit of a reputation for silently leaving the game in a less than ideal state.

  • New Balance Patch

Maybe it's just me but I really feel that they're very indecisive. They're saying that they want the community to shape the meta but it feels to me that they want the exact opposite. The fact that they're trying to make sure they're not just giving a deck a major nerf and instead a minor one where it just bumps down the winrate makes it so that the meta won't change too much as it probably won't introduce newer decks into the pool but shift the tiers slightly. For example the meta with TF Fizz and Aphelios being persistent didn't allow for new decks to be put into the meta for a long time until they got nerfed pretty severely then people could start playing decks like Thresh Nasus. Not saying that it was better or anything but it was at least different from the previous one. If they were so worried about the power level of other decks being put down then they could just put in a lot of minor changes to the cards instead of hitting 2 major ones to cards that is only 1/5th of the issue. I didn't just want Azir Irelia nerfs as much as others want but I wanted more changes to other tier 1 decks like maybe Ezreal Draven, Thresh Nasus or Trundle Lissandra Control.

Also, I'm pretty sure at this point they're doing less changes than Hearthstone is at this point. Hearthstone got 15 card changes in their recent one and the month before that contained 6 nerfs. They nerf cards a week after the release of a new expansion. I feel like LoR has been slowly drifting away from this style of drastic changes.

  • New Balance Patch

Yeah, and that is not going to be the mentality that keeps them afloat in my opinion. The thing that made LoR so note worthy in its early stages was the fact that they gave the impression that they wanted to keep things in motion with constant changes in the form of both nerfs and buffs. Without that I don't feel like the game has a lot to offer that sets itself apart from other games. I'm not saying the game is bad, but is it so much better when compared to MTG or HS if it just takes the same mentalities as they have and just rely on new cards and nothing else to change things up? In my opinion it isn't, not when those games have such a large following comparatively. You need something that will not just keep players interested, but that will draw players in as well from other CCGs.

I'm not trying to sound like a fanatic that is assuming the end is nigh. I am just saying that the end will be nigh somewhere down the road if this level of disappointment becomes the norm.

  • New Balance Patch

For sure. There were definately a lot of comprehensive changes that could of been made and weren't.

Particularly absent is the lack of any relavent or exciting buffs to the weaker archetypes introduced in the expansion.

It seems like the philosophy now is let's release more new cards to fix things instead of buffing pre-existing non Champs

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

Nope I've never played it either
    Here's an additional bit

You have me gold and cannot burn
My dying words just like end turn

  • New Rogue Spell - Savory Deviate Delight

This card is interesting for a few reasons:

    - Its a disruption card for a class that rarely ever needs it

    - Its more likely to backfire because the current rogue builds play lots of key cards that they would never want to sub for anything else without a guarantee of sniping something from the opponent.

Its not impossible to see this actually seeing play because rogue already plays Wandmaker, and they can negate the backfiring aspect simply by playing little to no minions: i.e. poison/weapon rogue.

I kinda like it to be honest. But its clear that its a tool to be discovered, not actually placed into decks.

  • Hearthstone's Broken Share a Deck Feature Should be Fixed This Week in Patch 20.4

I have a second account with decks built specifically to complete daily and weekly quests for both accounts, so this past month has been such a pain because of this.

I wonder why there's no discussion about this earlier, or maybe there's not much who use this feature to make a commotion about it.

  • New Druid Minion - Deviate Dreadfang

This is just an insane build around card. Living Seed (Rank 1) and Fangbound Druid can easily get this card out quickly and proceed to wreak any deck, and there's a decent chance druid doesn't even need to rely on overgrowth to clinch the win.

So its Exotic Mountseller strats. Play a load of cheap spells (because every spell in druid is a nature spell for some reason), with Ironbark and Bogbeam basically makes a giant minion that needs to die or you lose.

I look forward to the time when team5 starts looking at all the druid cards and realise what a mess they are making because it seems like we have to constantly print broken cards for druid to see any new archetypes at all.

  • New Druid Minion - Fangbound Druid

A 3 drop with vanilla stats that basically reduces another minion's cost by 2. That's nice value and a body to boot.

Obviously the card you're looking to reduce would be Deviate Dreadfang, but there are other targets like Druid of the Plains or just plain Twilight Runner. All are good targets.

The problem? Well, that's the thing about druid cards. Its just never really going to see play unless its broken, and this one is strong, but not broken. And therefore is unlikely to see play because token and clown druid are simply better decks. Put in celestial druid and the question would be: why are we playing this again?
