I think I saw grapplr doing the spectral matron big mama criteria combo it looks fun. Not too familiar with the other lists. Discard aggro too obviously long time top tier deck.
I've just been playing Zilean Ezreal but different from the one listed above. I made mine much more aggressive and included Tri-beam, which can ultimately win games. Deck's not bad, but it feels like a worse version of Ezreal Draven. The deck's issue feels like Draven is indispensable when you're running cards like Rummage, Zaunite Urchin or Sump Dredger otherwise you're not really drawing cards.
But it's not your thing that's fine. I'm not a fan of BGs or duels, but happy for those who do like them. It's cool - hopefully there's something you do like in the game.
He's focusing so much on BG now that it's no surprise it takes a toll on this. I watch him regularly but haven't really heard his opinion about GM this season, but it feels like if he doesn't want to play constructed anymore there are a lot of other people willing to take his spot. I still like him, people lose interest and move on, maybe he'll come back.

i barely use emotes ever, but i can't help it when my opponent makes some absolutely ridiculous misplay or terrible play in general i just say "well played"
Don't know why I keep playing this game when I'm always mad at every interaction that happens and can't really play anything different and original if I want to win. Currently trying to pilot a new deck that started off really well but now just on a crazy long losing streak. Why am I doing this to myself...
CQK — -1 star for balance (too easily broken with Legendaries IMO), -1 star for idea (I mean… a Highlander card that cancels the Highlander part of the deck? That’s just… idk, unfitting), so 3/5

Thunderfury — -1(?) star for idea (Rush Shaman? Sure, I suppose it works… the effect is just not very interesting to me for some reason), so 4-5/5
Thunderfury II — -1 star for balance (as you said, there’s a LOT of Nature spells in Shaman. A Battlecry that lets you cast all of them twice permanently… that’s bound to be broken), so 4/5
Thunderfury III - 5/5, easily best iteration. Also gives this an actual purpose as a weapon rather than just being a minion like all other Highlanders

CF — -1 star for aesthetics (the majority of cards referencing your hero have it as “hero”, not “Hero” like this one), -1 star for idea (not very creative if I’m being honest. Just giving your hero a permanent keyword… meh), so 3/5
AL — 5/5. Neat! Love the idea behind this one, like a general calling his armies. Almost like a better Varian, but different enough to not be a simple powercreep

In response to feedback on Bataak: As Wailor said, Discover is already established to pick a random option on your opponent’s turn, so there’s no real problem here and you just end up drawing a random card as normal. Also, forgot to mention: if you no longer have a certain type of card in your deck, that option will disappear (so if you have no minions, the “minion!” option will no longer appear)
I think he did on week 1. Sadly I think he got booted after the first game.
He's definitely talented. I mean the fact that he's still at the top level after so many years must count for something, but he's somewhat of a midcarder in my opinion - and that's not a slight. There's plenty of pros who never even seen light of day.

Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 1 Continues With Week 5
He's focusing so much on BG now that it's no surprise it takes a toll on this.
