Yeah, and I would be pretty sure your card would work as intended, but none of those cards imply in their text they would allow to choose options, it's intuitional that they choose randomly, and it's just kinda strange and less intuitional when text in card straight implies that such thing could be possible. Of course it's still better than having more than 4 lines in text, I am probably more angry about other card I saw in which this would be easily solved.
Pretty sure they said with the Darkmoon expansion that there would be a mini set with every expansion moving forward. Generally can be expected about halfway between expansions, or around 2 months after the main expansion release.
Played around 30 games and had Noz matchup once. Someone instaconceded when I played Noz out and added me to say they had been trying it but gave up so that was cool.
@DestroyerR In fairness, you can test this out by playing Unseen Saboteur against someone with a Discover-spell in their hand. I assume it will work the way you want it to, but I guess my ultimate point is that you shouldn't have to assume what the card does in that situation. Unseen Saboteur specifies that randomness will come into play, and yours does not.
My point is that A) Discovering isn’t targeting, so the “targets are random” part isn’t relevant, B) even on cards that don’t specify randomness, like Lynessa, Discover effects also behave this way. At this point it’s a pretty well-known interaction
Aphelios took some brutal nerfs, so even if they hit other decks, I doubt that we will see him back at the top. As for Twisted Fate, he still good but not oppressive anymore so I wouldn't mind seeing TF decks being meta again.
More importantly riot don't use mobalytics for their balance, they have their own data.
It is very good for blade dance decks but that's it. I don't see it being op by any means or making waves in non - Irelia decks. If azir Irelia gets nerfed I doubt that we will see this card a lot anymore
Yeah more concerning then the winrates which are on.the high side of normal is the playrate of 20% thats a fifth of all games players que into. As such Riot will look at it, the problem is what can you change without destroying their performance in other decks which is pretty average and how do we stop a return to TF Aphelios?
When I saw that Video and was slighly shocked that Swim has such a strong confirmation bias that he claims his view of the meta and that his versions of decks are the only right/good ones.
He uses data from players with the mobalytics client aka his netdecking servants, he literally created his own LoR cosmos where he is the one and only star of the show.
Therefore I absolutely would not take his words as THE right way to look at the meta and I would not stop playing champions because swim says that they are bad.
Zilean and Malphite are decent champions and the only reason they (especially Malphite) don't shine is that almost every matchup is hyperaggro and that Malphite never gets to the point where he matters and that Zilean is imo the best in P&Z with Chirean Sumpworker and Insightful Investigator (which is a problem because p&z shurima lacks healing options)
Im terms of my latest brews I am currently working on a LeBlancZed build featuring the countless different tricks we currently have in noxus and Ionia to make it really hard for the opponent to remove LeBlanc and Zed and win of cloning Zed and LeBlanc after giving them double attack with Flurry of Fists
He makes some good points but I don't think he understand what tier 0 mean or at very least we have different definition. A tier 0 is a top tier deck that has no counters and while very powerful Irelia/Azir has many counters. I mean he did present some of them in video.
So recently Swim has been delving into the newly released champion stats and talking about how low performing a lot of the new additions have been within this expansion...but is this really the case...I wanted to go in and talk about confirmation bias and how numbers mislead.
So who is the best champ with the highest winrate...Irelia or Azir right

So sad. If only there were a mode where we could just play and enjoy hearthstone. I played hearthstone for over an hour in standard and just kept conceding at diamond 5. Didn't find a single Nozdormu.
Then I switched to casual and found a single Noz deck in around 25 games. So disappointing. And could be easily remidied. Just give double Exp to any deck playing Nozdormu on the 15th, announce it beforehand. Boom, you're done.
How do you actualy trigger discover on opponent's turn? Imo casting a random spell on opponent's turn doesn''t count, because these always have random targets, and I always interpreted discover as targeting in that case, and I do not think there's a card in game which say that you actualy discover, or do any other targeted effect, with possibility of triggering on opponent's turn.
Not trying to disregard any idea, but I think that's already 3rd custom card I saw which would allow to make choices on enemy turn, and people always say that it's ok, targets would be random, while there is no effect in game on which would this be biased as far as I know, but maybe I don't remember some interactions.
Also, sorry for inactivity, I am, like, in a very busy and stressful situation right now, so I'm just too tired to think about custom stuff, and that also kinda takes away motivation to provide feedback to others.
The base for this mechanic is, as you said, the Discover spells cast on your opponent’s turn. I don’t see why that wouldn’t be a proof of mechanics: Discovering isn’t targeting, and there are plenty of cards that don’t cast randomly (Lynessa Sunsorrow for instance) and Discover effects are still resolved randomly
Thank you for the feedback guys. I've updated the tribe in accordance with what you've said. As for the Kobold tribe, the main mechanic of Candles was the same as Blood Gems, with some of the supporting minions being almost identical to the Quilboars. It wasn't like 100% the same, more like 70% but it was enough to make me change things up. I still want to revisit the Kobolds some day, just with a different design that feels more unique. As a cool side-note though, Kobolds had Taunt-hate as a small mechanic (getting more Attack when attacking Taunt minions) which I've kept in the Nagas in the form of Shellshock Breaker.

[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Neither of those, but Polymorph: Boar fits even better than the answer, damn! You're close though.

New Ionia Spell - Lead and Follow
I didn't say that it was OP. Even if a card don't need to be versatile to be OP. What I was trying to say was that I underestimated it.

https://lor.mobalytics.gg/stats/cards?rarity=CHAMPION&sortBy=WIN_RATE&sortOrder=DESC
That would be wrong its actually Darius of all things with his tiny 13 percent inclusion rate
Great game solved lets all go home, all jokes aside it just shows us that aggressive champs perform very well right now even the bad ones
Alternatively slow champs are doing poorly TF and Aphelios once top tier are absolutely awful if you only look at their winrate
So what we are really seeing is less an objective way of rating the power level of cards, and more a measure of the meta
Fast is good, slow is bad...great and before fast was bad and slow was good...and around we go
I believe that changing the pace of play through balance and expansions is great for the health of Legends
Pretty soon nerfs will land and control will do far better and all of a sudden we'll see a huge influx of winrates as is always the case.
So don't judge champs on winrates alone its really not informative in the slightest

This is a great idea! No one is using it, so those of us who are trying to are just getting bashed by the usual top-tier garbage.
