Literal Translation: Where there are six cooks (female), there's nothing to eat.
Meaning: When there are many specialists in one matter in one place, there will surely be conflicts in their methods, so if you're not sure about something, it may sometimes be better to ask only one person for help, and trust them.
Effect: It was kinda hard to put it in card, but the idea is that while each of Draconic Cooks is definetely more valuable than 1/6 of a 5 Mana card, they have anti-synergy, because they take up almost whole board, so there's only one minion you can summon at the same time. While I'm not sure if the wording implies this, the Cooks are not meant to buff each next Cook summoned. Also, I feel that the card is a bit busted.
just fyi u kind sound as if the decks play themselves. its sounds as if we pick a car and we sit in the passenger seat. no deck is auto lose or auto win. some are stronger than others and it kinda depends on the meta u face, the decks u mentioned i havent seen lately, and today aparently my opponents decided to just run nerfed lunacy mage
update: control priest is 100% hot garbage, as it only beats meta decks, and loses to a bunch of new iterations of aggro, such as murloc paladin, handbuff druid, and "always draws the absolute nuts" hunter.
Against Aggro/tempo/burn: i'll only target Sethekk Veilweaver with Renew either when i'm already ahead and want to generate some clears, or when i can tell that my opponent probably has a bad hand. (Can easely tell that if my opponent has a bad turn 1-3.)
Against Control/slow decks/mirrors: I'll do that when i want to try start a chain, considering healing health with Renew isn't as important in this matchup. (And if i have the mana to start a chain of course.)
Against OTK: When i'm 100% sure my opponent is an OTK deck, and i don't have Mindrender Illucia ready/in hand, i'll 100% cast Renew on Sethekk Veilweaver whenever i can, in order to try to find some kind of spell that can help me survive.
well that were pretty much all the scenario's where i personally cast Renew on Sethekk Veilweaver. (Some of which you already mentioned, like "- Despirate for a clear")
Personally i don't think casting Renew on Sethekk Veilweaver is a misplay... most of the time. Sure you "trade a card you put into your deck for a random one" but Renew also discovers a card, so the random card from Sethekk Veilweaver can rather be seen as a "extra chance" to get something you want IF your discover was bad. Perhabs those priests you have been facing were despirately looking for boardclears or buff spells for Sethekk Veilweaver? (In my experience, Sethekk Veilweaver loves only giving AOE spells, and almost no buff spells..)
The only real situation where i think this is a misplay is when your casting Renew on Sethekk Veilweaver on turn 3 against a FACE Hunter or Token Druid that have a full board of minions ready to target your FACE. (In that case they should have healed face and prayed for Condemn (Rank 1), or Holy Nova if they survive to turn 4...)
That's a really cool class I'd love to see in the game. From what it looks like, it would probably be quite fitting for control strategies, which would be a nice balance for Demon Hunter. My favorite card is Sylvanas because it adds a whole new layer to her personality in Hearthstone. Really nice work, great flavor!
Thanks! I wound up getting Guff Runetotem which is pretty useless for me. Still, I'll probably hold on to it because it's the one I got for hitting Legend.
I've stuck with Pally mostly because I love playing them in D&D, so it always felt like a good extension.
And congrats on hitting Legend to you too! What did you get?
Does anyone else feel like this round of achievements is, on average, a lot harder than last time? To be clear, I don't mind doing LENGTHY tasks like summoning 200 Greyboughs, and I don't consider that hard, just time-consuming. But this time, there are so many that require you to do a certain thing 5 times in a single turn, for example, or the one where you copy 5 secrets. Not only do you need to have the right combination of cards in hand, mana, etc., but most of the time, doing the thing you need to do for the achievement is NOT the optimal play. To pull some of these off, you need to build a deck specifically for that purpose, and play it over and over again INSTEAD of playing a deck you WANT to play, and actually trying to win. If they're going to throw all these hard-to-set-up tasks at us, they should let us complete them in Casual or Friendly matches. And of course, I wouldn't care if it was just for fun, but there are rewards that equal gold for these.
TLDR: A bunch of these achievements are too difficult to be fun, and can't be completed through normal play. Boo.
GZ man, i got legend for the first time this month too. I love paladins since W3 when i was a little kid and saw Arthas for the first time, its not our fault that our fav class is busted rn.
Well, that´s why I´m doing all my achievements in Casual Duels, where you don´t need to care about winning and slam the required cards over and over again, win or lose, only to complete the achievements. Still, it´s a hell of a grind and I understand that not everyone likes to play Duels. For me it´s the easiest and least stressful way to do them.

One pack for the class, but that's it.
The Story of Valeera: The Missing Pages of the Book of Heroes
A bit off-topic but I can't find the answer elsewhere. Are there any in-game rewards for doing these books of heroes?

why are you guys not talking about cthun druid? it absolutely DEMOLISHES control priest.
