I haven't tried drops on YT yet (for any game), is it acquired automatically or does it have to be claimed like Twitch? Does it also show the progress?
Jaraxxus may be a problem only further on after rotation. Jaraxxus does nothing to help with aggro matchups and for Control ones, it just accelerated the rate at which the game ends because Tickatus would singlehandedly destroy any slow/control plan which is why I hate the card with a burning passion.
If anything, both Tickatus and Jaraxxus need to be nerfed simultaneously to give control decks breathing room once Paladin and Mage are dealt with.
These guys are so iconic I can't believe they're not already in the game.
I'm not satisfied with the effect, though. While it makes sense for them, I feel it's too bland. It has a very early Hearthstone feel to it which I'm not sure if I like.
EDIT: Added a nerfed version, because I just realised AoE + good body is too good for a Neutral card, even if it hits random targets.
Just wondering if there were any news items I missed about Oh My Yogg! being a known issue for the HS devs?
I had a game recently where it turned my Scrap Shot into Dunk Tank but Dunk Tank never cast. Instead, the animation hung over my character for the rest of the game and Yogg delighted in my misery :(
A quick search on this site suggests there have been Yogg bugs dating back a few months so I was just curious if it's ever been addressed by Iksar/the team.
What agries me the most, is Blizz talked a lot about cost reduction and how it's no good for the game, and then they print a lot of Libram support and a lot of spell cost reduction for Mage.
I have the theory they want Standard to be annoying to make people play Classic. It's working with me at least.
Lunacy mage's winrate isn't the deck's biggest problem though? The problem is that it has a Keleseth-esque winrate card, is nothing but RNG and ridiculously overplayed for some reason. So much so that about a third of ladder consists of that deck.
If you want to talk problematic winrates talk paladin. Because Uther's the meta tyrant here, with a near-perfect match-up spread. Close to being on-par with AoO demon-hunter, yet everyone would rather go to the casino with Jaina it seems.
Back to your control warlock claim. Just a quick look at the deck's match-ups on hsreplay shows that it loses to basically anything aggressive with some over the top damage (several demon hunter archetypes, several hunter archetypes, aggro shaman, weapon rogue (these last few are really abysmal) and it looks like it can't handle clown druid's value either).
So no, warlock really isn't all that oppressive when looking at the data. Even after we get our first wave of nerfs. (Assuming they'll mostly target paladin and mage)
Oh and lastly, Iksar has already said control warlocks other, if not actual, win condition Tickatus is still on their mind. Since control warlock hasn't changed much since the rotation and they're not a big fan of those type of archetypes.
Is it possible to link to the golden version of Hearthstone cards? @Flux, please also post the internal documentation for Hearthstone BBCode here? Thanks in advance! 😉
Having lots of fun with RavenSunHS's Even Mage in Wild. It's very versatile and able to adapt to your opponent's game plan. A big plus is that few people expect you to run this list (yet?).
My personal highlight was a game against a Jade Druid. I'm running Primordial Glyph because I've dusted my golden Maiev and got a Frozen Clone from it that netted me two Ysera, Unleashed. My opponent was at 50 Armor during the mid game, but that doesn't count for much of you can't answer a Coldarra Drake and take 40 damage from pings the next turn. Super satisfying win!
I know nostalgia has rendered the old boy sacrosanct for a while, but I believe the writing is on the wall. When will the community be willing to read it?
Consider Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. I think a lot of players would agree that he was extremely problematic -- and the devs finally agreed and nerfed him. Well, Lord Jaraxxus shares several similarities with Boom, but they are exacerbated by certain aspects of the current meta.
Infinite value hero power -- only it's far worse with Jaraxxus because the value is much higher and totally consistent.
Minimal competition from other hero cards -- only it's worse with Jaraxxus because he is the only hero card in Standard right now.
Belongs to a class with too much control to begin with -- only it's worse with Jaraxxus because other control classes lost some control tools.
I understand that Lunacy Mage is top of mind for everyone at the moment, but that deck seems a lot worse than it is, simply because it's fun to play and therefore popular. Meanwhile, Control Warlock has quietly maintained win rates that rival or exceed Lunacy Mage, and this will only get worse when the hate-of-the-week decks get nerfed.
I hope Team 5 is able to recognize this problem before they decide on the next round of nerfs, or things will be a whole lot worse than they are now.
Agreed, burn shaman was working really well against lunacy mage for me a couple days ago. Felt very competitive, even favored. I climbed to diamond 4 with an achievement (nature spell damage) focused deck

Hearthstone is unplayable right now
The problem is the 5 drop pool is soo insane right now and Mage has multiple ways of doing damage to face aside from apexis

What Are Hearthstone's Pros Playing in Forged in the Barrens? Top Standard Decks For the New Rotation
Apparently they need to nerf Skill of Gul'dan to 2 mana, so Deck of Lunacy can't transform into it anymore /s
Hearthstone is unplayable right now
Refreshing Spring Water --> 5 mana
Font of Power --> 2 mana
Deck of Lunacy --> Transform spells in your deck into random* ones that cost (1) more.
There's no need to change Apexis Blast. These other nerfs would fix the problem.
*The word "random" should have appeared on the original card for the sake of accuracy and consistency.
