Not only it's not fun to play, it isn't even fun to watch! I loved watching Kibler and Regis playing their off-meta decks. But now I can't stand to watch them play against the same classes and their power turns over and over again anymore.
Blizzard really f'ed up the Barrens release. Not only for the players, but more for themselves. The first two weaks of an expansion viewer counts are the highest. And all they see are bugs and and a unfun ladder experience. That way you can't gernerate new players or get players back.
They put the focus of Druid (except CA), Hunter, Shaman and Warrior on minion based midrange decks. But these types have zero chance right now. They can't keep up with the resources and powerlevel. In some turns Mages, Rogues and Priests can play and generate more cards, than the classes mentioned before do in the entire match.
Also we have to talk about Tickatus. Not that he is unfun to play against or burns my beautiful cards. No, but about his influence on the meta and what decks his existence discourages. He is also responsible for the current meta.
If they DO nerf Luna*cy, how do they? Doesn't matter if the mana cost is tacked +2 or 3. Reduce the discount on the generated spells? Make it mage only spells?
The deck for me is boring and too random. I honestly don't think the need for a nerf to that one silly card is necessary. I grow weary of mage class in general especially inside the Wild format.
I've played the No Minion Mage, but I left out C'Thun, the Shattered. It just seems counterintuitive for the deck. I've had Deck of Lunacy for some time and nowhere to use it. The deck is fun because of the randomness. It's really fun to play cards from other classes, especially one's I seldom play. It's honestly the most fun I've had in Hearthstone in years, so I will be sad to see Deck of Lunacy nerfed, but I don't think it is actually the problem, I think it might be one of the two cards from the new set Refreshing Spring Water.
This is the burn shaman deck I was using on ladder. Climbed from Gold(?) to Diamond 4 with it. It's the same list from the article that was on the HS home page on the site - one of the "Top Pro Decks" ones from 3 days ago.
So looking at class win-rate average and standard deviation all the classes are average except Mage is a full standard deviation from the mean and Paladin is more than two SDs. And Warrior, which is between 1 and 2 SDs below the mean. That Paladin win-rate is just disgusting.
Aside from nerfing Deck of Lunacy into oblivion (I suggest a spell giving your charge minions +1 attack) they need to address Sword of the Fallen, Aldor Attendant, AND First Day of School. Those cards' mulligan win-rates are off the charts, and I still think they need to alter Pen Flinger.
Paladins and mages were about 60 percent of games for me in wild too this month at diamond, so it seems you can’t even escape them in wild. A mix of odd paladin, aggro paladin, secret mage, and mozaki mage.
What does Mozaki Mage look like? Just the name sounds like it's fun.
I'm not sure a "player-made solution" is possible when two very different archetypes are so co-dominant. You can focus your hate on one or the other and farm that class pretty easily, but you're going to lose every game against the one you did not choose to target.
No matter what you pick -- no matter what players pick in aggregate -- Mage and Paladin are still going to come out on top.

If you want to talk problematic winrates talk paladin. Because Uther's the meta tyrant here, with a near-perfect match-up spread. Close to being on-par with AoO demon-hunter, yet everyone would rather go to the casino with Jaina it seems.
It was not my intent at all to talk about problematic win rates generally. I brought up win rates specifically in comparison to Lunacy Mage to illustrate that the deck everyone is talking about isn't necessarily the actual worst problem in the meta.
Paladin is an obvious problem and has been for some time now, but Iksar seems very aware of that, so I'm not worried about it. On the other hand, devs have shown very little concern about Warlock beyond Tickatus, so I wanted to point out that Tickatus might not be the only offender in that class. That card's "feels bad" effect is strong, and it tends to eclipse all of Warlock's other OP control tools in the hearts and minds of players.
If anything, both Tickatus and Jaraxxus need to be nerfed simultaneously to give control decks breathing room once Paladin and Mage are dealt with.
I definitely agree. I already assumed Tickatus would get nerfed because it was on the watch list, and I honestly can't imagine a world where they don't nerf it. My worry is that it's hard to see how much Jaraxxus contributes to the problem because of Tickatus' ability to foil every deck's game plan.
We don't have these exposed yet on the pages themselves, they're only seen when linking the list on Twitter, Discord, etc. (Places that use meta data to display an image for a webpage)
The plan is to add a button to copy the image URL of the deck.

They should hurry up with the nerfs, this isn't a healthy meta.

The deck of lunacy mage is a RNG feast ... in my last game I got two Survival of the Fittest, which for a no minion deck is ridicolous ...
Hearthstone is unplayable right now

What region do you play in?
For me, 30 games played in Wild Diamond on EU this season.
7 Priest
6 Shaman
5 Warlock
4 Mage
2 Rogue/DH
1 the others (including Paladin).

Here's my goofy idea. Who needs Whizbang the Wonderful when you can change your deck every turn?
I used the phrasing of Renounce Darkness. I'd like to think it would be a free, amusing Legendary to mess around with.
