Strong tech card, kinda like a more expansive Dirty Rat. Also seems good for Big decks like Big Warrior and Duel! Paladin right now, before they rotate. (BUT obviously you never want to pull Shadow Hunter Vol'jin with Dimensional Ripper or any other "recruit" card. so that's a big downside.)
Holy spell? Nature damage spell? "his wife" ? Do we know what does that mean?
Spells will get Tribes like Arcane, Holy, Nature, Fire, Demonic, Frost and Shadow if i remember correctly. And there will be cards that will benefit different types of Spell like the Shaman Legendary who give Nature Spells, Spelldamage +3 for example.
For the finding it`s wife i think that the wife gets shuffled in the deck and when you play him you draw a card to try and find it. Not sure about that tough.
Mediocre anti combo tool and occasional cheat engine (even though you need at least 6 mana at which point cheating out something bigger isn't that relevant)
Definatly a zoo card, but it's WAY too slow for zoo. BUT i feel like Imp Swarm (Rank 1) has some hidden potential.. in it's Fell tag. My guess is that Warlock will get something similar to Bru'kan, a.k.a. a card that synergises with Fell tag spells. But untill we see that Imp Swarm (Rank 1) will just be a bad card.
Really seems like more of a Warrior or Paladin legendary doesn't it?
Warrior can combo with Inner Rage for a quick Hellfire, Paladin can just buff it and run it into something for variable amounts of damage (Blessing of Might meta pog)
Should at least appear in Libram Pally (since Pure is going away anyways unless they print more support)
This card is better than the original for two big reasons. First, this gives you cards in hand instantly. Second, this is much more consistent since it gives you all the cards at once rather than 1 random one. If you can get an extra mana then you will have a guaranteed 5 mana AOE with Ysera Awakens. If you need a little extra damage then this is a guaranteed 5 damage with Nightmare. And you can play Dream on Ysera to get infinite cards.
Really the only issue with this card is the fact that you will be stacking up tons of Laughing Sisters and Emerald Drakes, making hand management very difficult.
This looks very strong because you can also target your own minions which will happen most of the time because if you use it on your opponent minion this could easily backfire.
Chain Lightning (Rank 1) seems solid. Another great 2 cost removal card for shaman. Shaman really loves their amazing 2 mana removal spells! Chain Lightning (Rank 1) is a alternative to Landslide if your not overloaded before turn 5 (Pretty hard, not gonna lie.), and after turn 5 it can help remove some minions so that's good. But it feels bad to compare it to other spells like Landslide and Lightning Storm because Chain Lightning (Rank 1) only removes 2 minions instead of potentially an entire board, and that's it's weakness. As long as the meta is pretty aggro-y with lots of tokens Chain Lightning (Rank 1) will be a lot worse, and in meta's where it's a bit more midrangey/control focussed Chain Lightning (Rank 1) will shine.
Well, if you play this with the Mana Biscuit it could work and maybe see more play then i imagend - but if you do not play with Biscuits or other Mana Cheating stuff this could be very bad. Sure the draw engine is nice but it could also overdraw you at least 1 card because it is 9 Mana.
So i guess you could only play this in some sort of Mozaki or Burn Mage but those decks mostly want to close the game early on.
Really hard card to judge right now. But it will probably see play in spell damage shaman? turn 4 Bru'kan into turn 5 Ras Frostwhisper seems realy good, as long as Ras Frostwhisper and Bru'kan actually synergise together. Now that i think about it, how will Ras Frostwhisper work after those tribes are introduced? Seems pretty hard to make him good for both shaman and mage. Let's hope they make Ras Frostwhisper work with ANY spell damage, tribal or not. IF they do that then that turn 4 Bru'kan into turn 5 Ras Frostwhisper seems really good.
Standard: Probably spell damage shaman.
Wild: EVEN costed, and EVEN shaman likes totems. So it probably won't see that much play. If only it were ODD Costed, because ODD Shaman would have LOVED it. (ODD Shaman is more of a burn deck with lots of spell damage stuff, for anyone that's wondering.)
Pretty sure this is just playable at 1 and will never lose relevance throughout the game...unless of course there's way better stuff yet to come and you don#t even need this
Better than the original but not sure if it will see much play. Sure we will see it from time to time because it can swing the game in your favour but i guess even the improved ability will not always make this a playable card. So i will say this will be very situational.
New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
It...exists?
Like sure, throw it into your deck, why not? Doesn't have any particular synergies but it won't hurt either. Probably a top tier arena card.
Perhaps Shuffle Rogue can do something with it, but I highly doubt that's anything but a meme
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Strong tech card, kinda like a more expansive Dirty Rat. Also seems good for Big decks like Big Warrior and Duel! Paladin right now, before they rotate. (BUT obviously you never want to pull Shadow Hunter Vol'jin with Dimensional Ripper or any other "recruit" card. so that's a big downside.)
New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
Technically all yellow ones. Half of priest spells will be holy, half - shadow. But I think all paladin will be holy ones.
Forged in the Barrens

Renekton Shurima Champion Revealed for Runeterra's Empires of the Ascended Expansion + New Cards
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Mediocre anti combo tool and occasional cheat engine (even though you need at least 6 mana at which point cheating out something bigger isn't that relevant)
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
Definatly a zoo card, but it's WAY too slow for zoo. BUT i feel like Imp Swarm (Rank 1) has some hidden potential.. in it's Fell tag. My guess is that Warlock will get something similar to Bru'kan, a.k.a. a card that synergises with Fell tag spells. But untill we see that Imp Swarm (Rank 1) will just be a bad card.
New Priest Spell - Thrive in the Shadows
Decent enough i tink because this can give you answers for specific situations. Kinda like Tracking but i guess slightly better.
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Great card, removes one minion and transforms into 6/7.
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
Could be decent in Zoolock. Otherwise i think this will not see much play.
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
Really seems like more of a Warrior or Paladin legendary doesn't it?
Warrior can combo with Inner Rage for a quick Hellfire, Paladin can just buff it and run it into something for variable amounts of damage (Blessing of Might meta pog)
Should at least appear in Libram Pally (since Pure is going away anyways unless they print more support)
New Neutral Minion - Ysera the Dreamer
Exactly this!
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
This looks very strong because you can also target your own minions which will happen most of the time because if you use it on your opponent minion this could easily backfire.
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
Nice neutral AoE. The Power of the Card depends on how much handbuff stuff we will see .
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Chain Lightning (Rank 1) seems solid. Another great 2 cost removal card for shaman. Shaman really loves their amazing 2 mana removal spells! New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
I like this. But we will have to wait and see how many spells will be Holy Spells.
I think this could turn out to be pretty strong.
New Neutral Minion - Peon
Decent but nothing more.
New Shaman Minion - Novice Zapper
I think this card is very strong even tough it could make your turn 2 play a little awkward.
New Neutral Minion - Malygos the Spellweaver
Well, if you play this with the Mana Biscuit it could work and maybe see more play then i imagend - but if you do not play with Biscuits or other Mana Cheating stuff this could be very bad. Sure the draw engine is nice but it could also overdraw you at least 1 card because it is 9 Mana.

We'll see.
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
Really hard card to judge right now. Better than the original but not sure if it will see much play. Sure we will see it from time to time because it can swing the game in your favour but i guess even the improved ability will not always make this a playable card. So i will say this will be very situational.
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
So assuming that all Shaman spells are nature by default (not regarding special cases) this seems pretty good.
We've seen the huge difference between 1 and 2 spell damage before and this comes with 3 for a very moderate cost.
Unless all of Shaman's Burn spells aren't qualified as nature (where would Lava Burst fall actually?) we basically have a reliable finisher
New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
I like it. Decent Stats and if i understand the card correctly it gives you a draw too.
New Rogue Minion - Vanessa VanCleef
I like it. Very interesting and flavourful. But i guess it`s not gonna see that much play because it is not that consistent.
