The blame is 100% on Blizzard. Players shouldn't need to load up Excel.
Ah this summarised quote got me 🤣 but I do believe ppl would've done their own calculations regardless if Blizzard was more transparent on the rewards track.
If yhey make the exclusive prepurchase skins craftable it may affect their income - why to buy a big pack if I can buy packs with gold and craft the skin later on.
Question: are there games where ‘exclusive’ skins become after some time easily obtainable?
This inspired me to writeup my deck which is very similar to the last entry for Tempo Mage. Since yesterday I've gone 17-7 and hit Diamond-5. I'm curious how it holds up on the road to Legend.
So there's a chance of HoFed card getting back into Standard? Way unlikely (at least to me). *I could be wrong about this, since Dean pointed out Old cards getting back, but which one? I don't really know.
Buffing old cards makes more sense (nerfing is less likely, since the power level of each expansion is increased everytime). But still doesn't answer about Hall of Fame itself.
If a player is hoarding currency is generally means the decision around buying something is too difficult or there is nothing compelling to buy. Both make me :(
Um... what?!?!
First part: Too difficult to decide what to spend my hoarded currency on?! No. I've already decided. I'm spending it on the next expansion!
Statement overall: Makes me feel like Dean is trying to say we should not be hoarding gold and dust, but just spending it recklessly. And if we don't do that we are making him feel sad. He may as well have just come out and said "Don't save your gold or dust! Just spend real money to get cards!" I know they need to make real money, and believe me I am usually one of the people giving it to them 3x a year, but this statement just irks me a bit. As if they either don't get how or why people would budget their gold, or they are trying to guilt people into not hoarding resources and just blowing it all.
I think the exact wording was more that Hall of Fame would not exist in it's current form, but I could be mistaken. Maybe they are planning on using it more as a "place holder set" for Classic and Basic cards as they move things in and out of Standard.
If that's true I'm going to be sad about dusting him after they said he'd be rotating. I mean... why keep him if all I could do was play weak versions of Standard decks in Wild? If he's permanently Standard though, I'd craft him golden. Maybe... We'll see
we've been doing some brainstorming around what UI and Engineering cost would be to make craftable hero portraits a thing
I really like the art from the PVE content but this just sounds like an excuse, now i don't know alot about all the internal makings of a game but it's a PNG that you already have in the game... what is the cost that i aint looking at
Paladin's Divine Storm is too good for a 2 mana spell dealing upto 11 damages. Maybe change it or nerf it.
Druid's Entangle feels not connected to it's name. If it's entangled, it surely can't attack anything, why not make it to "Choose an enemy minion, it cannot attack for X turns". Or probably change it's name to Flinch/Flinched - it can't attack heroes.
If you want to be an absolutely terrible person, use C'Thun, the Shattered. Before the game starts, you'll have to sit through the animation of him shattering and shuffling into the deck. Twenty-two times. You won't win any games, but you might make people concede.
I'm really loving this deck! I made a couple subs to shore up the early game, but the core of the deck is really fun to play- soul fragment healing/quest completion has been a breath of fresh air :)
I took out free admission; you pretty much never get the discount, and frankly with all these soul fragments you end up completing the quest much quicker than other versions regardless, which is lovely. I also took out questing explorers, y'shaarj, and archwitch(replaced with twisting nether as suggested)
In their places I added 2 Armor Vendors, 2 Unstable Felbolt, and a Sense Demons to shore up early game.

Hearthstone's Classic Set Rework Will Include Some New Cards, Some Old Cards, and Rebalancing of Other Cards
Barnes wouldn't even be played in Standard

Hahahah Dean has some wicked humour there 🤣
No, we should totally bring Barnes back and have degenerate big priests rampaging all over standard 😉
Dean Ayala's Community Q&A #4 - Classic Set Rework Teaser, Craftable Heroes, Possible March Expansion, 2v2, Rewards Track
Also a typo in Rewards Track: "layers" instead of "players".

Um, reward track recap, *players should not have to load up excel to break out things in excel*
just a typo.
Crafting Hero Portraits in Hearthstone? The Dev Team Has Been Brainstorming It
Well, more options is always good, even if I would almost never spend my gold/dust to craft hero portraits.
Then again, at some point I might be tempted to get Khadgar if only because I need another mage portrait that's not Jaina.

So, I believe this has nothing to do with Hall of Fame getting removed? Really can't wait for Blizzcon for any info.

Okay, so far, 3 games queued as Rogue ; 3 wins, no cards were played ...
Guess I know of a weekly quest that will quickly be gone!

Shadowbomber is good versus spells or slower decks, but it does lose versus pogos and other fast minion-based decks.

Lol, fair point, but it still clashes with the flavor of the hero power, you have to admit that.
