Feels like a lot of ppl kinda forgot for their card to actually make sense in Darkmoon Faire setting. Proper watermark for the keyword is good and all, but a lot of cards dont seem to have any ties to DMF at all. Small oversight?

I think it was more that the rules were restrictive enough already that also finding Darkmoon Faire art for the specific tribe would have been ever tougher. I had my card summon a Pavilion Duelist partially to emphasize the DF connection since the art really doesn't. I think the cards that managed to add the flavor really benefit from it, but I don't blame anyone for just focusing on the mechanics of their card.

    Fair enough i guess :)

  • The Top Standard Hearthstone Decks for Each Class in Darkmoon Faire

Crazy that two of the best decks according to this are a Paladin deck and a Hunter deck that existed pre-DMF.  Could those win rates be inflated due to player experimentation being exploited by established decks?

Also, poor Priest!  I feel like they have got to have a better deck than that 47% win rate list.  May just be that no one has figured it out yet.  Guess it's time for me to start experimenting with C'Thun Priest!

    What about evolve shaman?

  • The Top Standard Hearthstone Decks for Each Class in Darkmoon Faire

I like how this article is "the top standard decks", and Big Priest has a sub 50% winrate. Kind of a shame that many Scholomance decks are dominating with very few Darkmoon cards, but it keeps my wallet very happy, so I'm a little conflicted.

That said, I'm having a blast playing the Darkmoon Faire decks I can make (N'Zoth Paladin and Evolve Shaman). These last two expansions have been a ton of fun for me.

  • Riot's RubinZoo Discusses Recent Runeterra Card Changes, Card Balance, Design Process, and More

A leveled up champion is supposed to be a wincondition in the majority of cases in LoR. If you say a leveled up 5 mana champion is not suppsed to win games while for example Ezreal exists at 3 mana,  Ashe at 4 mana or even Swain who is right as "difficult" to level if not easier who is 5 mana aswell, i wonder how riot's statement is wrong.

What is the issue with the right to left approach with Vladimir? Is it so much better with a left to right approach?

Shyvana on the other hand is just a statpile champion I don't mind if she is bad or if the dragon archetype is bad.

Taric is actually very hard to kill in the deck he is in. We have so many health buffs available to him that he hardly every dies to anything but a hard kill spell such like venganceBADCARDNAME. He doesn't even need any buffs himself right now he just needs a better deck around him to work.

Champions CAN be niche and strong at the same time that is NOT contradictive. Otherwise Fiora and Shen were bad champions right?

Darius isn't really used right now since he is "too expansive" in aggro and not desired that much outside of it. He is certainly a good champion but he doesn't really has a home right now.

Teemo and Fizz decks are both annoying but not good archetypes which is good. You don't want neighter of those being tier 1. Riot's statement is right: 1 mana champions need to rather weak to be balanced because a tier 1 one mana champion dictates the meta way more servere than a tier 1 5 mana champion because the range of answers for a 5 mana champion is way more wide and the amount of drawn cards until the champions hits the battlefield asks for less counter cards in your decks because you have access to more cards to answer them.

Minah Swiftfoot sees exactly as much play as she did before in constructed ... about 0 so I (literally) don't see the problem with her buff...

Zephyr Sage combo is a lame archetype indeed and i agree we don't neeed it to exist although one has to admit that it is a rather slow deck that can be beaten by aggro reliably.

And lastly about the Ravenous Flock: Yes it is strong, yes it fits perfectly into swain deck and it will continue doing so with 3 damage. It is slighly overtuned, yet it has to compete with execute spells on 3 mana and would be pretty meh at 2 mana therefore. If anything makes the Swain archetype it is The Leviathan so you migh prefer nerfing this card over flock.

  • Standard needs a viable neutral silence card.

Libram Paladin is running wild and there is no viable silence card in Standard. Owl is trash for 3 mana, the new neutral deathrattle silence minion sucks even more and Spellbreaker went into Wild.

It is time that Owl got a rebuff to 2 mana or got at least some extra stats.

  • Runestones and Arcane orbs ?

Another lie of blizzard this one to get around their wrongdoing in China.

  • Send In The Clowns

You have to draw Carnival Clown with Prismatic Lens. It reduces the cost of the clown, so you can corrupt it with one of the other cards in the deck. You will basically never corrupt Clown fairly, only when it's reduced to a low cost with Prismatic Lens.

If you do get Y'Shaarj with Lens, you can just play it as a 10/10; I've won a few games that way.

  • Achievement Tips/Strategies Sharing

    Quote From Pezman

I've seen several threads about specific achievements, but not a dedicated forum for sharing tips and seeking help (perhaps I missed it?). So here goes: If you are looking to share or obtain helpful ideas about the new in-game achievements, here is a place to do so.

I'll start with a PSA: I completed the Demon Hunter one where you need a 10-attack Redeemed Pariah, and I tried to cheat using Abusive Sergeant. It did not work. You need to actually play 8 Outcast cards to buff his attack to 10.

So who else has a tip to share or needs some help?

I should correct this PSA: I believe it needs 10 permanent attack (unlike the temporary buff of Abusive Sergeant). I completed it in Wild using the Lantern of Power from the OG Arch-Thief Rafaam. I would have used other buffs but Demon Hunter is terrible at buffing minions so this seemed like the simplest route. Note it can be done in 1 turn with a single trigger of Emperor Thaurissan.

Minor edit: fixed the spelling of 'Lantern' (the fact I defaulted to lanturn shows I have played too much Pokemon over the years).

While here, I should link to my own PSA on the Forbidden Jutsu achievement: https://outof.cards/forums/hearthstone/hearthstone-general/6702-forbidden-jutsu-psa

  • Any tips to fulfill the C`Thun achievement?

I have had success using an heavy Control Warrior, you remove everything they play and after they run out of cards you can slam C'Thun on the empty board for the achievement.

  • Any tips to fulfill the C`Thun achievement?

The full board is the challenge, I think. I nearly pulled this off in C'Thun Druid against a Priest, but he ended up taking a small amount of damage with a Raise Dead. The board he created didn't prevent me from winning, but it did leave me pretty salty about it...

Quest Shaman with double C'Thun battlecry seems like a good strategy for ensuring you can clear the board and get lethal, so long as you can account for your opponent's life total beforehand. I guess, if you manage to get C'Thun often enough, one of those times your opponent will be at full health. Might be hard to full heal your opponent and not get wiped that late in the game.

  • Tickatus

Amazing card, I questioned myself to craft it or not and I already know I will never regret that. So much fun we had last week!

I think it could be competitive if meta slow down a bit, but even now it's not that bad (53% / 30 games).

  • Achievement Tips/Strategies Sharing

One more Priest related one that I'm pretty frustrated by - I don't have G'huun the Blood God, so I was trying to complete You're Ghuunna Be Sorry using the Scion of the Deep starting treasure in Duels. Apparently using its effect to pay health instead of mana doesn't trigger achievement progress. I guess that means that for this achievement, there's some practical difference between a cost being permanently converted to health vs. temporarily converted to health.

  • Any tips to fulfill the C`Thun achievement?

Does double Battlecry from Shaman work for the achievment?

    1. Concede like 20 games in a row so you can get to Bronze MMR

    2. Use Witch’s Brew to heal your opponent to full.

    3. Blast ‘em and Profit.

Unfortunately you need him not to have board. Maybe Quest shaman with double battlecry

  • Blizzard Screwed Up With the Rewards Track - A Letter to Hearthstone

You're literally posting on a site that has other card games you can consider trying in its place, if you like. But no one could fault you if you just drop the genre entirely. I don't suggest jumping cold turkey into Magic, as it's also very expensive. I've never played Mythgard. Runeterra is pretty good though.

Funny, I was thinking about doing the same thread as you, after my original thread has lost it´s purpose. You can check some tips for completion there too, if you want. For me the easiest way of completion is in the Duels, you can make a deck build aound the specific achievement without any drawback, for example I´ve did Spoilers! simply by running Fortune Teller along with spells only, or made secret only deck for Your Future is Clouded (even if you don´t own Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon, you will get him through your loot).

  • Early Darkmoon achievements for XP

That´s so cool you´re making such progress :) So far I´ve done a pretty few myself:

All the Hunter, Warlock and Mage

    Paladin Lothraxion´s Balloon Shop

Priest Spoilers! and One Has No Name

    And few of the Neutral

Anyway, I think the original point of this thread is over, so maybe you could use this new one instead: Achievement Tips/Strategies Sharing, and maybe help others with your tips. But if you want to continue to share your progress here, feel free :)

  • Hearthstone Rewards Track Patch - Client Updated to Removed End of Track Pack Rewards, Replaced with Gold

More rewards at the end of the Track? Lovely. Except I'm extremely Time Poor. If I can't make at least 6000g by the end of this Expansion I'm out. I'm not giving anymore money to Blizzard. I'm currently Level 21 and am sitting at 260g. Its not looking good.

  • Any tips to fulfill the C`Thun achievement?

I tried Priest but the heal wasn`t enough to keep the enemy on full health.

I like the idea with Witch`s Brew. :)
