  • New Neutral Minion - Rock Rager

I find the taunt on this card hilariously ironic. It is almost like blizzard was trying to make the most comically useless rager card ever while still giving it just enough of a buff to give people like me as much hope as possible. I love this card aesthetically, I really like the awkward stats/cost ratio, and the art is pretty good too. This will never see play no doubt about it, but I will look at it every now and then and dream about playing it. Kind of like how I do with Silverback Patriarch.

  • Fairground Fool

Another (small) thing: the corrupted version might be a 4/7 and not a 4/3 with 4 extra health (so green health) which could be silenced.

  • New Neutral Minion - Prize Vendor

I think it is pretty good. If you are playing in a deck that cares a lot about draw, and your opponent tends to have a full hand then this is a pretty good card. Against a faster deck this isn't really good though. I guess whether or not this card is played depends partly on the meta.

I don't think this is what Rush decks need though.

Very true. This isn't a bad card, it just isn't enough to make a "rush" deck work. What we need is more rush minions and better ways to interact with them aside from just giving them buffs.

  • New Neutral Minion - Banana Vendor

Judging from how Mages and Priests love to hoard cards in their hand, this definitely almost always burns a card or two, and just makes the turn a bit more awkward. Although, I don’t see what decks would want to run this, and I doubt Mill has enough support to return in any meaningful may

  • New Neutral Minion - Costumed Entertainer

When I first saw this I thought "wait, why doesn't this have the Murloc tag?" then I actually read the name of the card and felt a little stupid.

I don't think card will see a lot of play since Handbuff stuff is generally pretty slow and doesn't impact the game at all. Maybe some deck will be able to make good use of the 2/2 buff, but I doubt there is any deck than wants this buff that can't already get it in a much easier way.

  • New Warlock Minion - Ring Matron

It has taunt, and the minion it generates is aggressive. If you're running a midrange deck or zoo, this is amazing. Comparable to Savannah Highmane, and for that reason alone its not to be ignored.

If you cheapen it with Demonic Studies, then this comes out turn 5, which is really scary for any class other than priest. Can't underestimate cards like these.

  • New Neutral Minion - Banana Vendor

You would want to add bananas to your own hand so that you can get synergy from casting cheap spells. You would want to add cards to your opponents hand to make them overdraw. I don't know what deck wants to do both of things simultaneously, and in most cases you would just prefer Banana Buffoon.

  • New Neutral Minion - Darkmoon Statue

I mean, a 3 mana 4/5 is good. It just comes out a bit too late to be worth it, but definitely pack filler. In arena tho, could be worthwhile as a mediocre pick

  • New Warlock Minion - Midway Maniac

I think Voidwalker is just better, you lose two health for 1 mana and that's just enough.

  • New Warlock Spell - Free Admission

So much potential. But most likely you'll just be glad to draw 2 minions off this card.

The discount is nice, but a bonus. I can see a world where the odds of getting it off is at least more than 50% of the time. But the true power of the card is that it draws, and drawing cards (especially in handlock) is nice.

  • New Warlock Minion - Man'ari Mosher

I don't know, I don't see this card anywhere, it's not bad, it's just that there are better archetypes of demon warlock to make that requires to not play this.

  • New Neutral Minion - Gyreworm

    UN’GORO SUPPORT... two years later.

  • New Neutral Minion - Inconspicuous Rider

This will definitely be played in any deck with even a small number of secrets. It is one card that puts two cards on the field, making it good card advantage. And since it gets multiple cards on the field at once, it is good tempo. This card is very powerful and useful. And I would be shocked if it never saw any play.

  • New Warlock Spell - Cascading Disaster

Love the card, love the effect. But removal options have to either be consistent, or be powerful, or be cheap. Most importantly, they have to be ready on demand. This one fails the last point, as well as consistency.

On its own, its nearly worthless. Unlike other classes, handlock doesn't really play a lot of minions early on, so you don't get to improve your odds this card destroys the minions you want. Late game this is amazing. But on condition that you're not already dead, or are consistently able to both draw this and play your power turns well. I'm not exactly gushing, and this card will most likely be a choice discover rather than a card added on purpose.

  • New Neutral Minion - Gyreworm

I don't think this is a bad card, but I don't think it will be played a lot just because elemental decks generally aren't very good. Maybe the cards in this expansion will give the tribe a much needed boost, but I remain skeptical.

  • New Neutral Minion - Darkmoon Statue

For an aggro deck, you will want to play these kinds of cards on curve, and when played on curve it is just too vulnerable. It is only good when you already have a good enough board set up so that you can either get lethal, or some really good trades. Or if you can corrupt it, which some aggro decks might have a harder time doing. Somebody mentioned using this in token druid, but I don't know if that deck has any cards that cost more than three, and at the point you might as well run Raid Leader.

  • New Neutral Minion - Darkmoon Dirigible

It's not bad once you corrupt it, but I don't think you will want to play it for it's base cost unless you really care about the mech tag. Dealing 3 damage for 3 mana on a 3/2 body is really good for a neutral card, it just needs some setup.

  • New Neutral Minion - Fantastic Firebird

Generally, I don't think you will want to play vanilla minions beyond turn 3. After around turn 4 you want things that have some form of immediate impact, and this just doesn't. Maybe you really care about elementals, but I don't think that is enough for this to see any play.

  • New Warlock Minion - Tickatus

At some point this will be a nice little centerpiece for a combo deck. But for now, I don't see it.

The major problem here is that you'll need to hold on to this card (which means drawing it), then play something costing more, which in most cases would be Twisting Nether. Sure, you can also play common stuff like [Hearthstone Card (alexstraza) Not Found], or even galakrond himself. But if you're playing a card that cost more than 7, in most cases its either a removal or a win condition. This card doesn't even have taunt, for gods sake. Says alot when this card only starts performing when you're winning.

Of course, the other common problem is that most decks don't ever reach fatigue, so what does 5 cards truly mean in the grand scheme of things? You play this on turn 8, they remove it, then swing board. Then what else?

That's not to say its complete worthless. There's some shenanigans with Felosophy, and you can still discover (and perchance, cheapen) this off Demonic Studies, so this card will never truly be lacking respectability. Certainly a built around. Just don't go hoping it will ever be tier 1.

  • New Neutral Minion - Circus Amalgam

Cool, this works as a great stand-in for any minion types you may be lacking in a N’zoth deck. And the fact its a yeti with taunt is also just really good, but its obviously a lot weaker than some of the designated tribe cards.

  • Hearthstone Patch 19.0 - Darkmoon Faire, New Duels Powers, Progression Update, Achievements, Battle Pass

Nope, you'll be only able to unlock them through battle pass as premium rewards, so you gotta work for it. Golden Silas, Darkmoon coin and the new warrior heroine should be unlocked immediately after purchase though.

Same here btw. Buying the new tavern pass right after prepurchasing mega-bundle just feels bad. It should've been included in it.

(Also i just found out that the premium tavern pass includes a 20% xp boost, so if you're thinking of buying it then i'd say do so sooner rather than later.)

  • New Neutral Minion - Circus Medic

The healing isn't bad, but healing 4 life for 4 mana is pretty slow. Shroom Brewer only barely made the cut in some warlock decks that were desperate for healing, so I don't think this will be played for heal very often. The damage is pretty good for a neutral card, but the Corrupt makes it rather awkward to play. All in all I don't think it will be played a lot. But who knows, maybe the flexibility of it will make it more attractive to certain decks.

  • New Neutral Minion - Safety Inspector

This just seems... really bad. You would want to draw this card in the late game, because it just screws you over in the early game. I mean, its design is just all over the place. If it was highest cost card, then it would make sense, but be a bit too strong.

  • New Neutral Minion - Circus Amalgam

    Chillwind Yeti!!!

I really like this card. Having every tribe is useful, and I am very glad they decided to print this at common instead of Epic like before. This will definitely see play in any deck that cares about more than one tribe, and maybe even some other tribal decks that just want a really good 4-drop.
