grumpymonk - I prefer the 2-mana Attentive Student. She can be combo'd early with something cheap for fast cycling, or something bigger later on for the value. The only use-case that might be a problem is Evocation.
shaveyou - I will echo the concerns of flavor, but other than that the card seems good-to-go from a functionality standpoint.
Nirast - As I noted in Discord, I think the card is too complex; I'm not a fan of it :( It also seems way too strong, as well, considering you could fill a board of Murlocs with this Spellburst, then chain them all at the same time to mass-buff your units with two spells at the most.
Wailor - I like Sturdy Quarterback the most, although he is admittedly much simpler than Spellcaster In Training (don't care for that name). Perhaps too simple? Hard to say.
Demonxz95 - I like Stitched Arm the most, still, and I see that you submitted already.
FieselFitz - You've made good changes; especially the watermark :P I think you're good to go.
bananenparty - I'm not sure where the flavor of a salesman comes into play with the effect, or with Scholomance as a whole. Mechanically it seems fine.
KANSAS - I like The Lorekeeper: taking Dead Man's Hand and giving it to everyone opens up a lot of possibilities. Not a fan of the Wind Totem, mostly because it has an Attack stat despite being a stationary Totem.
DavnanKillder - Trapmaster Alanna is fine, but Hunter/Rogue was not a Scholomance combination so I would avoid this one. Mad Researcher should not have above-average stats: Yeah you have to discard two cards, but you're still up two in your hand. And given the Warlock has various ways to take advantage of discard, this is not a full drawback that would warrant better-than-normal stats.
Ekkeh - I love the flavor of it, implying the Banshee possesses the enemy minion. I think, however, that the Banshee would still die even if your opponent had no minions; I'm not sure how to fix that. Not the worst thing, 'cause it balances the card out: now you can't be so flippant with your spells. If you want to nerf it somehow, I would take a point or two away from its Attack: you want the 6 Health so it can survive a round if necessary, but maybe it shouldn't be able to trade so well.
TheHoax91 - This seems way too complex in practice, although it certainly has a "wow factor" to it. That you have to explain exactly how to pull it off is a point against the card, in my opinion.
anchorm4n - I like the edited version you came up with; I agree in-that it needs the additional clarification. I think you're good to go as-is; you don't need a way around Divine Shield.
BloodMefist - I like the Skeleton version: it's like a mix of KT and Cycle of Hatred. If you want it to be more unique, though, I would go with the healing-version.
Arkasaur - You're absolutely right about Golden Justicar: I would not print that with Hand of A'dal in the same Year. Ancestral Crescent is fine, and could be cool as a means to immediately mitigate an Overload.
Am I the only one who found Rexxar's 7th fight needlessly hard? We have a wanjangled secret deck that isn't that great compared to his infinite steam deck that pukes up 2/6 taunts that spew up even more minions. He has bonus health to sustain an aggro push till he can start puking out his boats and eye of the storm. As if that wasn't bad enough he has lifesteal with walking fountain and earthquake to wipe the board. Then we have a terrible hero power it cant kill the boats by itself and it's random which is even worse. I could probably elaborate more but I can't really remember what else he pulled on me.
Bbbbbuuuutttttttt maybe it was just my terrible draw
It still blows my mind how we can go over a week without deploying the site yet it always feels like we just deployed yesterday. Anyway, here's today's changelog.
Changes
Runeterra
Added card subsets.
We now flag cards based on two sets. Their primary set (Such as Call of the Mountain) and their expansion (Such as Monuments of Power)
If you search for Monuments of Power cards on the database, you'll only see those cards.
If you search for Call of the Mountain cards, you'll get COTM and MOP cards combined because they are from the same overall set.
We're also including MOP cards within the main COTM set guide.
Bug Fixes
Fixed the "Has Guide" filter on decks for Runeterra and Hearthstone.
Previously, if this was unchecked and you used any other filters on the page, it would not include decks that had a guide, only showing guide=none decks.
The functionality is now the indeed of:
Has Guide Checked = Only shows decks with written guides.
Has Guide Unchecked = Shows decks with and without guides.
The Riot API
We have starter access to Riot's Match API. We've begun collecting some data as a test and are working on formatting it. Here's the phase 1 plan.
We'll let you tell us what your Riot account name is (Such as Fluxflashor#NA1)
We'll sync your matches and match data from Riot's API.
We'll display your matches and give you some basic, personalized stats on a dedicated page.
We'll give you the option to make your match stats page public. Private is the default.
All data we will display on the site will be anonymous unless you opt-in to showcase your matches on your public profile.
Phase 2 is more stat details.
On deck guides, we'll tell you what the winrate of a deck is using data we've compiled.
We'll let a deck author decide if they want us to publish their personal stats on a specific deck they submit to the site. This would appear above the guide that they may or may not write.
I don't have an ETA on it all. We need to get further approval from Riot to increase our API limits. As of now, we can only collect data for 100 matches every hour, which is the match history for 5 different accounts. It isn't great, but we understand they need to do this.
Bayou Brunch is just there to help level-up Tahm Kench. Grandfather Rumul, Boxtopus and Fortune Croaker are pretty good targets for this effect. If you were to cut it, I definitely wouldn't play Wish. It's Slow, which is pretty bad. It also is already Soraka's champion spell, meaning we could run into multiples, which is also pretty bad in this card's case. If you're cutting Bayou Brunch, I'd either run Make it Rain, Mountain Goat, or Pale Cascade. Removal, gems or card draw are all welcome.
If we we had more ways to damage the enemy Nexus and big units to attack with, sure. But as it is, we don't really want to attack much and our biggest unit (Grandfather Rumul) has only 4 health, so not many guys we'll be swinging in with to deal a lot of damage. We can't trigger Plunder reliably (only five cards deal direct nexus damage), we have little use for the rally, meaning we're just playing him for the heal 3 to our other units, which doesn't seem very good to me. However, if I were to play him, I would cut Grandfather Rumul and Astral Protection for 2x Citrus Courier and 2x Make it Rain.
I have a new idea. If you find a Druid weapon problematic, I also have it in minion form. Edit: Added a smaller version of the Teacher, as per Arkasaur's suggestion.
I think what they should do with Poisonous is to limit it exclusively to minions that come pre-packaged with it, those currently being Deadly Spore and Maexxna. They should strip it off of Amalgadon adapts and remove Toxfin. That way you can't really just slap it onto a massive minion and have it farm two or three of your opponent's guys that've been built over the course of the whole game. It will be relegated to fragile, techy minions that serve a similar purpose to Unstable Ghoul.
As potentially busted and uncounterable as poisonous can be very deep into the lategame, I think it is necessary. Let's say you've made it to the final 2, both of you have been crushing, are very healthy. You square off, and you find that your opponent highrolled like a motherfucker. All other things being equal let's say they're like two or three turns ahead of you in scaling their build. Without poisonous being in the game, you're toast. You're likely to fight them at least two or three times before you die and there's just nothing you can do to alter your strategy. Without poisonous it's just big stuff against big stuff and their stuff is bigger. You can't ever catch up. There's no build switch you can make if it's all about stats.
Poisonous gives people the ability to adapt their build to their opponent, to catch up. To potentially counter strategies that revolve entirely around one ginormous dude (Pirates with a Taunted Looter, beefy Brann + Battlemaster, Garr) that would just farm all the minions you have and protect the squishies behind it. Poisonous lets you punch right through it, and if it's only available on small minions like the Spore or Maexxna, it gets one hit off to get you through that problematic minion and then the rest of your board has to take over. Poisonous + Divine Shield will not be as much of a problem because you then have to use Selfless + your poisonous minion to kill two enemy minions. So you trade evenly, 2 minions for 2 minions. Issues arise when the poisonous minion is big enough to survive hits even without divine shields. Spore is unlikely to get that big. Maexxna might but it takes a good deal of effort, or you have to already be running a Mama Bear/Goldrinn build to begin with. When it's not on Amalgadon or 50 health Murlocs, poisonous is fine and folds to anything with tokens, cleaves, secondary damage sources (whelps), divine shields, etc.
The quarterback is my favorite card of them. Simple, but effective.

I don't know, it feels clunky - especially the "if they don't have it" part. I like the art, but not the current iteration of the effect. Just buffing all the Murlocs would be enough and a lot easier to grasp imho. Undecided Undergrad is hands down my favorite card in this thread so far. Great work!

I still like the first version of the student the most.
Cyclone is absolutely crazy. I mainly play constructed, but when I do play BGs I have been forcing elementals every run. Getting cyclone at the right time and getting to buff it has been the run-defining play (the difference between Top 4 or not, for me - admittedly not a BG pro by any means). Getting a big one golden (without the Whirlwind Tempest) can just obliterate an opponent's board.
That's a weird explanation for Whirlwind Tempest. Considering only 4 cards can have Windfury (Crackling Cyclone, Zapp Slywick, Seabreaker Goliath and Amalgadon), and only the Cyclone can really benefit from it, I thought it was because its limited usability. Also, with it being a Tier 3 minion, it was already easy to triple for Mega-Windfury. So this essentially will have barely an impact.
I played Rag in my most recent Battlegrounds run - it took an eternity to complete the Sulfuras "quest" because the match-making kept putting me up against the Kel-thuzad player who had quit on Turn 1. Hahah. Eventually got there XD, and finished 2nd in the lobby with 4 Whirlwind Tempests on board (2 golden).
I open 2 book of hero pack and it gave me 3 legendary card... 1 jaina and 1 rexxar the free pack after finishing the quest... just wondering if this is unique or every 1st card you open each hero will give you legendary card... or it will be just like normal expansion 1 legend on your very 1st 10 pack
I took out Freezemeister because it seems a little too low impact and hard to work with, even in a dedicated freeze deck. I've put a rogue weapon in place of it. It gives a hint of Headmaster Kel'Thuzad's necromancy.

shaveyou - It should say "summon two 3/2 Raptors", not "summon 2 3/2 Raptors". Every card that summons multiples of the same minion while specifying its attack and health does this. You might want to combine the two sentences into one like Nagrand Slam and Troublemaker for concistency.
Wailor - I like Sturdy Quarterback best as well. I don't think the flavor of Note-Buying Slacker translates into its mechanics very well. Why are you being paid - I thought you were paying for the notes? As for Spellcaster in Training, I think the drawback is too easy to get around and won't be that relevant. You could just save your damaging spells for later.
FieselFitz - A little boring for a legendary - though it is fine as it is. Spell tutoring is more of a mage than a rogue ability, so I could see this being an interesting mage-rogue card, giving mage a stealth minion.
bananenparty - I don't like the name of the card, sorry. I think that this could be buffed a little bit.
KANSAS - I would go to the first card. It can be frustrating for the Wind Totem to grant a different minion windfury than the one you want, especially in a class that likes to go wide.
DavnanKillder - Mad Researcher is too powerful in my opinion. The spellburst essentially draws two cards, or even better if built around properly. I think Trapmaster Alanna would be better at be better at 6 mana. You would probably have to change the name, since Dragoncaller Alanna already exists and this appears to be a different character.
Ekkeh - Looks good to me. I'm afraid others might not look at this card and think of Mind Control more than Sylvanas Windrunner, but I could see this being a skill-testing card.
TheHoax91 - I don't like how the card is so bad if you're not running it for the combo. It's not someting like Mecha'thun where it could be at least a 10 mana 10/10.
anchorm4n - The second version is better worded, but as KANSAS mentioned, im not sure if the spells stack on adjacent minions or if the bonus works more like Lightning Breath.
BloodMefist - I like the second version more, because it is different than being a smaller version of Headmaster Kel'Thuzad.
The stories are barely connected,Jaina does appear, as does Thrall, but there is no prior knowledge required to understand the story. It isn't explicitly mentioned that the pop-up Jaina that appears in fight 3 belongs to the alliance, but that's the only thing I could think of.
Just also wanted to brag:got two legendaries from the four packs!
When it does happen, you destroy all of their minions and deal 30+ damage. Al'Akir with cleave or Rag makes this happen more than you'd think. Pretty toxic.
