There are also those who actually want to play the game and those who rope you for the first 5 turns watching netflix or doing whatever because they are pampered kids with the attention span of a goldfish.
Sorry, I'll take my sorry self to the salt thread.
Lol I play 2 games at once sometimes while also using my phone...idk whats wrong with me.
But I rope people intentionally when I see that they squelched me.
In general, I think you need to decide what your deck wants to be:
An synergy-driven tempo deck,
An elusive aggro/combo deck,
An elusive midrange deck, or
A wavefinder combo deck
For #1: you're probably taking out your weaker bodies (Porofly, Conspirator, Wavefinder, Herald) and replacing them with cards like Mentor of the Stones and Flower Child.
For #2: I think you want to shuck Targon entirely and go for an emoosive deck with Greathorn Companion and Relentless Pursuit. Let me know if you'd like me to link such a decklist.
For #3: you'll want to extend your curve to look more like old-school elusive -- e.g., include Windfarer Hatchling
For #4: I think you want to make an Encroaching Shadows deck circa Nolagold's theorcraft below.
Cut 3x Hush for 1-2x Whimsy!. Remember that if your opponent's deck has more late-game value than yours, you really want to minimize the amount of reactive cards, especially ones that might only produce a stalemate
To combine the two philosophies above: it's upsetting that I have only managed to get 3 boots in the Pandaria garden once in 6.5 years of playing the game, and even more so that it happened when we were both playing aggro decks and there wouldn't have been nearly enough time to achieve that in if my opponent didn't rope me every turn for no reason.
I don't mean to be harsh against Riot, but I think there's a difference between making some cards overpowered, which is inevitable for any CCG team, and creating a system which reinforces short-term thinking. And I think that's what they've done here - they've created a design process that focuses narrowly on the question "who is this new champion, and what cards and mechanics support him or her?" and doesn't seem to pay enough attention to the overall ecosystem of the game. Rather, they kick the can down the road on thinking about the ecosystem of the game because the balance team can always come back in and fix it later.
Honestly, I would probably be more willing to give them the benefit of the doubt if it weren't for the massive amount of anger toward Riot's balance teams from LoL. Prior to playing LoR, I wouldn't have believed those levels of anger were justified, and would have probably told you that League players are just whining because their favorite champions got nerfed or some such thing. But after some time with LoR I really do think Riot has a bad approach to balance. It sort of feels like they're operating with the view every young tech company has - "we're just like Facebook, so let's disrupt the [X] industry by moving fast and breaking things." And the result is not all bad - they have a lot of interesting content in LoR. But this "move fast and break things" mentality means they also consistently treat balance as secondary.
Oh boy, did i get it wrong or people here are asking for Skinner Boxes?
I mean, sure, an extra incentive reward would be nice, but isn't the challenge itself just good enough? When i play other single player video games, i always set the dificulty to the hardest (with a few exceptions) because i find the challenge fun. But that doesn't mean you and me can't also have fun on easy mode. Like i said in my previous post: ladder is suposed to be challenging and not necessarily everyone will find it enjoyable.
Now just imagine what would happen if they gave away an amazing cosmetic reward for each ladder rank. I believe a lot of people like OP who just want to have some fun would find themselves forced to play a game mode they don't enjoy just for the reward. That would be a stupid design if you ask me.

There’s Only Two Types of Hearthstone Players..
I had a golden turnip the other day.
Hearthstone's Cupcake Card Back is Now Available in the In-Game Shop
And that's easy money for Blizzard, so... let's go!
I have to say I have not changed the card back I use since I got my first one, Ragnaros. Only in a few thematic decks.
Warchief Thrall
Amazing skin--really channeling Thor, and it looks great.
There’s Only Two Types of Hearthstone Players..
So you are spamming emotes and intentionally rope people. I can definitely see whats wrong with you.
Wanderer Rexxar
This felt way too cartoon-y for a hero portrait originally, but I've grown to like it since first released.
Tyrande Whisperwind
I was always envious of this skin, until Mis Lazul was released.
Sir Annoy-O
Hello, hello, hello!
Shan'do Malfurion
Malfurion 2.0
Shadow Gul'dan
I didn't love this upon first release, but it has since grown to be one of my favorite 1000-win portraits.

Looking for criticism for my deck Lulu Zed Elusive Supports

There are three types of players....
So who thought that a region being generally good at card advantage was a good idea?

I'd advise against going for Masters.

Prince Arthas
The second best reward to receive in Hearthstone--obviously right behind the Dungeon Run cardback from Kobolds and Catacombs.
Nemsy Necrofizzle
Love her and her Bog Creeper!
Morgl the Oracle
<Inconceivable!>
Medivh
Love his purple fireball, hate this portrait's aesthetic.
Mecha-Jaraxxus
JARAXXUS ONLINE!
Maiev Shadowsong
I'll always be bitter that my Quest for her got glitched, and I was too ignorant at the time to get it fixed, so I'll never have her...
Magni Bronzebeard
Even though Corrupt Garrosh is awesome, the animation for Magni's hero power is too good.
Lightforged Uther
Uther Lightbringer keeps giving Prince Arthas a run for his money as best Paladin portrait.
Lady Liadrin
One day I'll put in the time to earn her in Hearthstone.
