It's hard to tell if this would be good. Kinda like dinosize but not? all i know is if your paladin opponent goes out of their way to hero power on turn 4 you shouldn't just leave it around.
I really like the studies because they just seem all around really fair. I don't know if they will be practical to play since it is 1 card to get 1 random card, but the flexability is nice so I think they will at least be used by players with small collections to help fill out the gaps in their deck.
In standard there’s a lot of decent to really good ones you can discover, though even then it might not be quite consistent enough to be that good given that class minions are no longer prioritized with discover
This card is above average in terms of damage per mana, but I don't know if every deck will want this. If you are trying to make a control hunter then it is a 1 for 1 trade and it helps slow the game. Otherwise I think you would rather run more proactive stuff like Rush minions or the new Krolusk Barkstripper to help control the board.
Optional step 3: Ace Hunter Kreen to ensure save trades for the hounds.
This card is really good for control & quest demon hunter. Maybe highlander hunter will also use this in a more mid-range kinda version? Maybe it will just slot in well with the current highlander hunter list, as they like having a way to deal with 2 health minions. Also 1 mana deal 2 damage is solid on it's own.
that could be very relevant for Quest Rogue (and just in general of course).
Sure, you can't guarantee it will be useful, but if you get lucky (or accurately predict what your opponent is going to do) you can easily get massive progress on your quest with just one card (or just finish it entirely)
Primordial Studies is a New Shaman & Mage Card Revealed for Hearthstone's Scholomance Academy Expansion
no he doesn't because you can't discover da Undatakah from cards which discover deathrattle cards. He is just overpressuring.
New Shaman Spell - Molten Blast
decent, but what do you do with those elementals. I don't think spell damage shaman will care about tokens.
New Neutral Minion - Desk Imp
The impinite value card.
New Paladin Spell - Blessing of Authority
It's hard to tell if this would be good. Kinda like dinosize but not? all i know is if your paladin opponent goes out of their way to hero power on turn 4 you shouldn't just leave it around.
Gibberling
Every set has to have that card that is less than impressive... and here;s this one.
New Hunter Spell - Carrion Studies
I really like the studies because they just seem all around really fair. I don't know if they will be practical to play since it is 1 card to get 1 random card, but the flexability is nice so I think they will at least be used by players with small collections to help fill out the gaps in their deck.
New Shaman Spell - Tidal Wave
hell yes, that's kind of stuff I was looking for. A strong lategame AoE that also heals. Control Shaman is finally real.
New Mage & Shaman Spell - Primordial Studies
In standard there’s a lot of decent to really good ones you can discover, though even then it might not be quite consistent enough to be that good given that class minions are no longer prioritized with discover
Intrepid Initiate
Not like super OP. but definitely Blizzard slept on this by not revealing it earlier.
New Neutral Minion - Crimson Hothead
isn't this card just overstated? 4/6 taunt for 4?
some dragon decks are running the big fairy dragon so this might replace that.
New Rogue & Warrior Spell - Cutting Class
Spells like this are always naturally powerful. Weapon Rogue might really come together...perhaps even without Galakrond
Partner Assignment
Spell Druid could be using this along with Crystalsong Portal to fill their hands after dumping them with the ramp that they have currently.
Commencement
This will fit nicely in duel Paladin. The artwork is BEAUTIFUL!
New Hunter Spell - Overwhelm
This card is above average in terms of damage per mana, but I don't know if every deck will want this. If you are trying to make a control hunter then it is a 1 for 1 trade and it helps slow the game. Otherwise I think you would rather run more proactive stuff like Rush minions or the new Krolusk Barkstripper to help control the board.
New Neutral Minion - Plagued Protodrake
For a card that will probably see no play (AKA pack filler/arena card) it's quite interesting and has actual applications.
New Rogue Minion - Shifty Sophomore
amazing card. You can pretty much safely drop it on 4 and don't even need to activate spell burst for it to be good.
New Paladin Spell - Blessing of Authority
Now THAT is some good stats for the cost. Might see play in a deck with Alura, but I don't see this fitting into any existing archetypes.
New Neutral Minion - Robes of Protection
can be either useless or devastating depending on matchup if you are getting beaten by priest, mage or rogue run this.
weapon/rush classes can go around this though.
New Rogue Weapon - Self-Sharpening Sword
funny card. It basically swaps attack and durability so you go from a 1/4 to a 4/1 eventually.
I think it's too slow though. Just use a weapon with high attack in the first place.
New Hunter Spell - Overwhelm
Step 1: Unleash the Hounds.
Step 2: Overwhelm.
Optional step 3: Ace Hunter Kreen to ensure save trades for the hounds.

Do you have a source on that, because that really doesn’t seem right
Tidal Wave
Potential flamestrike with magic damage ( also kills your minions) costing 1 extra mana, but at least seems to heal A LOT.
3/5 stars, could be a decent clear or an awesome clear+healing if you´re desperate
New Rogue Spell - Plagiarize
that could be very relevant for Quest Rogue (and just in general of course).
Sure, you can't guarantee it will be useful, but if you get lucky (or accurately predict what your opponent is going to do) you can easily get massive progress on your quest with just one card (or just finish it entirely)
Hearthstone Scholomance Academy Final Card Reveal Stream Live Recap
This is nice. The set has a ton of interesting cards, and I have no idea what decks will come out on top.
Contrast that with the last couple expansions. We all knew EXACTLY what was going to dominate the meta before those sets were released.
New Neutral Minion - Steward of Scrolls
IKR thought a few days ago.. would azure drake be playable today? and I got the the conclusion that.. no.. it wouldn't.
