Reminds me of Hemet, Jungle Hunter. It's not strictly better as for instance in King Togwaggle decks you want your deck to be empty as quickly as possible, but most of the time Lorekeeper Polkelt is the superior card.

Had deckhands in my initial list but I cut them out because they can't close out games as efficiently as riders. Also, the riders synergize better with Tog's Pick. I can PM you my list if you want to check it out.

1 mana make your draws better? maybe.. probably not that great since you don't gain anything really since the deck is random you just discard one bad posibility..
A super interesting card that I never thought would make it out of custom hearthstone, but we live in a world of 10 classes now, anything is possible. I don't think this gets run in control decks unless the meta slows down enough since cheaper removals are usually needed to take back the board to stabilize efficiently. However, this card is pretty good in combo decks since you can manipulate your deck to fit the draws you need. Notably current iterations of Quest Warlock might like this card a lot since you could get 0-mana DQA or Maly much more consistently.
Effect like this was made number of times over the years in different iterations, and this specifically as well. Yeah, it does look like in Scholomance Academy especially, Blizzard might have let lose more and implemented some ideas from the community and other card games (*cough* mtg *cough*), which is good.

Scrying is good in MTG, I don't see why hearthstone should be any different. I am very interested in how much this card will be played.
*edit* also in wild Twig of the World Tree is now broken.

Maybe in mage cause most 1 cost spells there are quite good but apart from that nah..
Need to see more mage cards to decide.. but the dual rogue/mage discover one is much better.
