we should be getting the announcement for the announcement right after the felfire festival. Wouldnt surprised me if the new cards start streaming in around 15th July.
I’m most excited for Mangara, the Diplomat. I started playing MTG Arena this month and have only been playing black/white lifegain so far. This lifelink commander sounds cool for that.
Average players who don't netdeck wrongly think they are smarter and creative, but they just ignore facts (stats) and play bunch of tech cards to hard counter one deck (very creative) and lose all other matchups, because their deck is simply shit, not even fun, because it doesn't win.
Individuals are different from each other so each player have different ways to have fun. Do you know about the Timmy, Johnny and Spike player types?
Types of players in ccg games, originally came from mtg.
Timmy is a "power gamer" who likes things big and strong, prefers straightforward strategies and enjoys winning with a big mighty hit. Typical Timmy deck in mtg is a 'mono green Stompy' where your huge monsters just stomp on your opponent and he dies in pain.
Johnny is a "creative gamer" who likes to build interesting decks, tries different ideas and basically expresses themselves through the game. Johnny is the one who accepts the challenge to not let your memes be dreams. Also appreciates non-gameplay aspects of the game, like lore, art, etc.
Spike is a "competitive player" who plays whatever has the best chances to win. Spike knows the meta and uses all the broken stuff avaliable. Spike will netdeck, steal from the kids and suck the big falota if it brings the victory.
I always enjoy looking at these decks each week for inspiration for my Wild climb. I've been having a lot of fun and climbing success with this Pure Secret Paladin recently and I thought I'd share it for anyone who is interested:
The trailer will probably be closer to mid July if it's releasing in August. I feel the single player adventure launched quite late? The virus could have a knock on effect *shrug*.
I don't think it released late, I feel that they pushed it back a bit so players doing feel the pre-announcement slog as long as they have in previous years. I would live if they did an announcement/teaser on the last day of the Felfire Festival.
Thanks for the feedback! We've actually got some large updates planned for the card database to help fix some of these issues and had a discussion about it last week.
Standard sorting definitely needs to be added.
Currently, it is possible to multi-select Expansions and Mechanics. Holding down Ctrl while clicking on an option adds it to the list. The interface will be changed to be easier to handle though since it isn't very friendly.
This wasn't something we had discussed, but I agree this would be an excellent addition.
The reason for the results to not immediately show images was due to a "mobile-first" design decision with an emphasis on search. Loading all those cards on mobile kills the page load time which in turn can result in less than ideal page ranking on Google. It is super annoying but we need that small boost. Maybe we could do something down the line that would allow it to be a preference for people that are logged-in. I do plan on reducing the clicks needed though to get to this - one less!
The first teasers for Saviors of Uldum (with Toggwaggle holding up the card with the Explorer's theme song) was actually exactly one year ago today, so we're certainly in range of them appearing.

Don’t have the list handy but I have been enjoying a type of Midrange Beast deck with the inclusion of Augmented Porcupine and the photo realistic Lion. Might not be the best, and it’s not exactly “Deathrattle Hunter”, but it’s decent. I’ll upload it later if I remember.
It has more to do with the update frequency where Blizzard and Wizards have shown an unwillingness to provide meaningful balance changes every two weeks, Riot has been on it, and doing a great job. I would say right now there are very few things that feel over-tuned that means context is the biggest contributor to win rates at the moment.
As opposed to mtg where it's like literally 25 percent of people play this deck because it is optimal it cheats out mana and everything else is inferior by design.

The Net Decking Trap - Logical Fallacies
It's impossible to have fun by losing most of the time. Johnny himself is confirming this by whining on netdeckers all the time.
MTG Arena has a 10% Discount on a Player Draft Token - Today Only!
Is this a smart buy for a new player? Kinda scared ill screw up the draft and just be wasting my precious gold. Curious what you think.

2nd Expansions usually drop in early August, so I'd say we'll get an Anouncement mid July.
No Idea how much the Virus might have affected the Work Process though. Maybe they'll delay Everything for a few Weeks?

Does someone know of a solid wild deathrattle hunter deck without feugen and stalagg? I presume something with eggs and cube could be strong.

Historically, it's been in August. The 'Rona will have no affect on the release date.
Aggro Highlander Druid
Mmh, I'm not sure there is such a function atm.
