I was thinking about start to give feedback for a while, but after the statistics shown from Hoax, now i'm sure i'll retribute the feedback people gave me in previous competition, just keep in mind that's the first time i'm doing this, sorry if i was to harsh with you, it was not on purpose.

    Show Spoiler

Anyway, here's my cards for this week.

Extra: I don't now if it is within the theme, but i realy liked the card so i'll add it in the spoilers

    And now, FEEDBACK!

    Show Spoiler

Archom4n: In my opinion, "No Neutral" archtype should be a Paladin only thing. Not like giving a class archtype to another (like Spell Hunter and Spell mage) is a problem, but Paladin is struggluing to find flavorful and interesting archtype nowadays, and Pure Paladin is one of those, so i think its not right to take it from then.
Also, i don't see any the space flavour, maybe you should consider changing the art and name. And about the effect, why not just disable fatigue damage, since its the only utility a Priest can find for own turn immunity.

Linkblade91: Meteor fall for shure, but try to make less random and highrolly. Flavour is fitting the theme for me, but if i was you, i would wait for more opinions, for it is indeed debatable.

Demonxz95: Crafter is WAY to highrolly, maybe make it discover spells that cost (5) or less or something? And Starace is fine for me.

Xarkkal: I Like it. If Tip the Scales + Prismatic Lens is fine, i think this should be too. It keeps Avina, Malygos, Ysiel, Hadronoxx, etc out of range, so maybe there's no dumb combos that might come out of it. But i would give it a Wild expansion watermark, to keep it away from Kael'thas in standard.

Kansas: I think Empyrean should be the 8/4, for he is the aggressive one, while Obscuron is the defensive, also, it would make the deathrattle easier to trigger. In general, i think its just ok.

BasilAnguis: I like them all, but i like Gravity Well more for the simplicity.

Wailor: Gravity Crush is my favorite. Maybe Space-Time Rip should remove or shuffle the minion somewhere to be more flavourful.

MenacingBagel: I like it, but you should probably change the watermark to Old Gods,Karazhan or Gadgetzan so it would rotate along side the Karazhan's portal, making less confusing for people who started playing after the Year of the Kraken.

BloodMefist: Color from Space is my fav, MAYBE (3) more is a little too much, but personally, i think its fine. Event of Horizon seens like a worse Enter the Colliseum and Algalon's text is too long, 4 lines is the limit for Hearthstone's cards.

shaveyou: I like Hunter's Moon , but 4 mana seens more fair, since a mid sized board is enough to turn your minions unstoppable monsters. Another art for it would be nice too.

Beatdoof: Touch the stars is nice, but 5 mana seens too slow, 4 mana maybe?

Pokenier: For me its Astrologist, nice flavour and effect. Not realy an actual problem, but its kinda wierd to see an astrologist with such high stats, what about lower the stats and give it like a Free From Amber like effect?

It looks like something went wrong with your uploads, only one card made it through. I'm sorry to say that I'm no big fan of the "send a minion to the bottom of a deck" mechanic, so I'm curious about your other ideas.

Regarding your feedback for me, the Unicorn was not meant for this competition, as I stated in the text right above it. You can find my ideas two posts above yours ;-)

Great list, thanks for sharing! I'll use this for grinding warlock towards 500 wins until the net expansion hits (I'm at 290 now). It's fast, it's strong and it has just the right amount of rng for my taste.

  • The Summer Superdrop Secret Lair is Live! Details on the MTG Arena Sleeves Available

Glad you mentioned that non-exclusivity for the card sleeves - I was kinda disappointed when I saw the Year of the Rat sleeve in the store the other day.

  • Stand United and Challenger interaction

I found out just now that using [Hearthstone Card (Stand United) Not Found] on two units which have been targeted by opponent's Challenger attackers completely negates the Challenger effect. I mean I guess it is intended, but still I don't really find it fair that just by swapping two units' places you can basically disengage them from combat or even use them to block any other attacker. The card already disrupts your plans by swapping them (and giving them barrier), why should it even have this further interaction? I might also just be a bit salty over losing to an opponent who used this trick 3 times in a row, but still...

Feedback! First of all, I second everything TheHoax91 has suggested. Great analysis, hitting some things right on spot.

I prefer Constellar's Envoy, even if I don't see much flavor. Outcast should stay in Demon Hunter imo.

Gravity Well is my favorite. I don't want to make things even more confusing, but I could picture this in Priest as well. Nice flavor, great art!

Nether-terrestrial looks very interesting. Maybe it's a bit too complicated… what would think about "Battlecry: Give a minion "Deathrattle: Cast Twisting Nether"?

    shaveyou:

Hunter's Moon looks a bit scary. Full Board + Swipe or Starfall can get really nasty with this. Maybe make it 5 mana or something? Homemade Shuttle looks boring to me.

I prefer Color From Space. Event Horizon looks a little weird and Algalon is just way too complicated.

The flavor is there but I don't know about the balance. This could either be broken or a dead card. Sorry, I don't think I can be of help here.

I prefer Meteor Fall. I like that it's random and it has cool oldschool Warlock flavor.

  • Aladdin Paladin (Aggro Reno)

Back to Diamond10 in 19 games and 13 victories. That is 68,4% wr. The vast majority of matchups were against meta mecks.

Some games I used Highlander cards, some games I didn't draw them at all but won nonetheless. (Some games I played them but lost)

I've gotta say I am quite pleased with the deck. Better than I thought. It doesn't feel like an offmeta deck, like AT ALL. More like a t3-t2 deck.

(but I am even more surprised of my skillz at piloting it like woah man how did I even manage! xD)

I'll keep playing this until my wr falls flat to about 50%.

    Stay tuned! #letsmakehighlanderaggrogreat

    Derpcorn the Bold

What do you all think? Here's some feedback as well...

Reveler Reno isn't a bad card, although Firework Fanatic is far more party themed, with an extra dash of rng. I'd go with that one!

A very fun card indeed, and functional too. P.S: I love the art.

    KANSAS

Trick Gift is a little wordy, though I do like the flavour. If anything I think it'd be more fun/party-themed if it was never silenced. Feasting Troll on the other hand is a solid, over-statted, functional card, especially for the arena. I'm torn between both, honestly.

This minion would need to have a Battlecry in order for this to work. It's got great stats for a (4)-cost minion, although giving your opponent two boardclears is a pretty big downside. Also, BDay is very offputting. I understand it's probably because of the text constraint, but perhaps you could come up with another name?

    anchorm4n

Love the flavour! I think the effect is great, and the stats are fine. If anything, this'd be alright as a (3)-mana 2/2.

    Wailor

Suprise Party! is a fun card, although I don't get the 'full heal' aspect of the flavour (probably just me though). Happy Hour is also great, and I like that it affects both players which could force some interesting strategy against certain decks. Wedding Officer, whilst interesting, doesn't strike me as 'party' themed, more 'ceremony' themed. As they stand, I'd pick Happy Hour.

I'm having difficulty coming up with a good idea this week. I think I'd like to do something luminary, though.

    .

Ebb and Flow is meant to support Murloc Shaman with a much needed AOE or reload.

The Red Planet toys with Warrior's self damage cards like Awaken! or Risky Skipper.

What do you think? I'm also pondering something about the moon transforming minions into Worgen.

    Feedback is in the making!

Cool art and watermark! Solid card. It's interesting how both your card and Ice Block can be countered on your opponent's turn but Time Out! can't once it's cast. Which probably makes it the best defensive tool in the gane… I hadn't noticed this before.

    KANSAS:

I really like the art of Trick Gift, but the effect doesn't do it for me. If I were in your shoes, I'd try to come up with something else for it. The art is just too fitting not to use it.

Lol cool idea! I'd change the text to "gift them TWO" since hearthstone usually goes with a gender neutral version.

  • Spare-Part spell Druid

Depends on the deck you're playing against honestly. And some RNG with the Spare-Part's helps (to gain the one that gives a minion stealth).

If you're playing against a slower deck, the combo is easy to achieve. As you will be able to play more cards, and they tend to remove that. Thus they lack removal when you play Mech-Bear-Cat. That was something that happened a lot at diamond 5 (last season).

  • Where do you get information about meta reports, deck winrates and so?

I personaly use HSreplay. I feel they are generally the most accurate especially withh premium, because they have the largest pool of data. That being said my biggest problem with them is that it seems to take forever for the data to update. With old lists still seemingly being relevant for too long.

  • Odd glitch in the game.

The first things that come to my mind are pilfered goods and Blood for blood.

  • Descent of Dragons

    Great expansion!

  • How does awarding of bonus starts work exactly?

FYI I can tell you I've got consistently 10 stars for Diamond5.

And then this month 10 stars again despite Legend.

The reason is I start playing offmeta when I reach my goal, so I lower my MMR significantly enough.

So you need both ranks and good MMR in order to maximize stars.

  • Where do you get information about meta reports, deck winrates and so?

    Quote From dapperdog

Stats isn't everything. Some cards are deceptively important, like Beaming Sidekick in a tempo dhunter list, or Faerie Dragon against mages, rogues, etc. You can't play hearthstone solely based on stats.

Sure, but stats are valuable. If every day I play 6-8 matches and watch 6-8 more matches on stream, my perception of the meta is very limited; if I can find stats of thousands of games a day that improves my awareness of the meta. And, in case, I want to craft an expensive deck, I'd like to know how strong it is in the current meta. The more (reliable) stats I have, the better.

  • Where do you get information about meta reports, deck winrates and so?

I agree that hsreplay is not really very reassuring without premium on, since its only in premium that you can see a variety of stats and legend stats (which is obviously more valuable). But its still the best for me since I prefer a general view of the meta.

I believe Viper has once on stream talked about this subject. His opinions is that VS is very biased towards certain decks and he finds them not as representative as hsreplay.

All in all, if you play hearthstone, you should have a general feel of the game enough to not trust stats at face value. An extreme example would be Hand of Gul'dan where the drawn win rate is very high but the played win rate is very low in zoo. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Stats isn't everything. Some cards are deceptively important, like Beaming Sidekick in a tempo dhunter list, or Faerie Dragon against mages, rogues, etc. You can't play hearthstone solely based on stats.

  • Spacial Awareness - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

Currently having a busy college and finals month, so can't really provide feedback, the next 4 days I'm done and can probably get back for backfeeds later.

Anyway, here's two cards I guess.

  • Aladdin Paladin (Aggro Reno)

I daresay they are key cards here.

Both act as winconditions and/or lifesavers.

You can try to replace Maiev with Frozen Shadoweaver, or Spellbreaker (if meta is taunt/deathrattle).

It's much harder to replace Sunkeeper. It's not the best card ever, but it's one of the best for how this deck works (small but large boards). You can try with a Fungalmancer or maybe a Sword of Justice but that's really far from what Tarim does.Alternatively, you can overhaul the deck entirely with a Murloc setup, with Murloc Warleader, Gentle Megasaur, Felfin Navigator, but then you need Old Murk-Eye for optimality.

Ofc I've won games without either of them (in the same way I've won without playing the Highlander cards), but they help a lot with the consistency.

Btw, Platinum3 with 67% wr atm.

Overall, I think you can still try the deck without them, from a rank floor: just know you're playing a suboptimal list, and the deck itself is pretty challenging to pilot (so many times I misplayed both Zephrys and Finley...).
