I agree with Dermostatic that taking a more Inquisitive tone is better. For me, I usually end every post with something like “what do you all think?” to make it clear that I want feedback and am okay with criticism. As individual humans, we can’t always think of everything, so by opening ourselves up to criticism we can realize things that we wouldn’t have just by ourselves. There have been many times that I’ve thought something was a good idea, but after seeing other people’s opinions on it I’ve realized the flaws in it and been able to change it in order to make it better. Even when I disagree and think I’m right, in forming my arguments I am usually able to understand better why I think it would be a good idea, making even “bad” criticism helpful. Also, everything is a whole lot more fun when you’re willing to collaborate with people and improve your ideas instead of immediately making everyone think you’re arrogant. Would you rather be alone and “right”, or in a community and learning?
The idea behind this would be to support a Menagerie deck. It is balanced by the fact that you need to have a lot of Beasts, Dragons, and Murlocs for Party Time! to be better than your normal Hero Power, so a deck running just dragons or just beasts would not run Reno the Partier. You also have to spend Mana on the first few turns buffing your minions, which makes this strategy slower than a normal zoo deck. I made Party Time! also buff a random Beast, Dragon, and Murloc in your deck because I felt it was a little too weak if it just handbuffed.
To add onto what Link said about dragon in their human form not being tagged as Dragons...
Reno was not yet established as a dragon in One Night in Karazhan.
The Hero Power seems fine (although shouldn't it say "hand or deck"?), but Dragons in their human form are not labeled as Dragons (see: Wrathion, Kazakus).
I think what it does is just swap the targets, which makes perfect sense with how Challenger works. If you Target one unit with a spell and then your opponent swaps that unit with another one, the spell will now Target the other unit. If you think of Challenger as a spell that says “choose a unit to block this” then it makes perfect sense. Stand United is in general a pretty bad spell though (since Barrier decks aren’t very good) so I don’t think it’s that much of an issue. If you’re facing a lot of barriers, just run cards like Make it Rain, Withering Wail, or Death Lotus to remove the barriers.

I've played my share of Bomb Warrior for a few days now and one thing I noticed (between 8 and 6 platinum on EU) is that I frequently run out of burst against priest and other control decks. I took out one copy of Battle Rage and swapped in Grommash Hellscream. This would be my first priority in your place, as he regularly shows up whenever Warrior gets good enrage support. Sure there's the possibility of pulling him from a brawl pack, but that doesn't help you play Warrior right now, does it? Second place goes Ancharrr, which is more versatile than it looks and will probably find a permanent home in Wild Pirate Warrior if you're into that format as well. Deathwing and Kargath share third priority as they surely are useful and very cool, but not necessarily needed imho. Teron is an investment I've made that hasn't payed off as of now.
You are just the kind of guy we tried to get away from.
I wholly agree Shivershine. This community is wonderful; Nifty, the fact that I care enough about the people here to comment in a Runeterra forum should tell you just how much I value keeping this place fun, peppery, and free from trolls.
Back to my original post, you've absolutely proven me correct. You point out that I'm mad about line spacing, which I do indeed reference in the first and last lines of my post, and is annoying. However, the bulk of what I wrote was about you and your character. Your latest posts indicate a pattern of stand-offishness, being argumentative, not wanting to engage with criticism, dismissing those who disagree with you, and elevating your own self to a position of authority, a position you do not have. I don't need your pity. I don't need your hugs. I need you to understand why we engage with your post-spacing and your tone rather than your ideas.
I will continue to pop my head in on your threads. Hopefully, it'll be to watch your progress in engaging with the community and consist of me posting about how I now play Runeterra and find your insight valuable and interesting. For now though, I hope these two posts have been food for thought.
Does anyone know if the decklists for the AI opponents are available? I just came across a deck called, "Tortured Souls" (Kalista & Thresh) that really intrigued me - as it crushed me as well.
I've only begun playing this game, but I really like it.
Welcome to Runeterra!
No idea about the AI decks specifically, but here's the Kalista + Thresh deck I was running around with pre-Rising Tides. The goal is to get either a Darkwater Scourge or The Rekindler in your rez pool and then just beat down with Kalista. Take it as a guideline and not gospel--it's an old list that could probably use some updates for RT and for the current meta.
The "Cork Shot" is the deal 2 damage part, like when you open a bottle of wine or champagne with too much force and the cork randomly hits someone in the face. The "Wine Shot" is the part where you drink the wine and laughs at the one who got "Cork Shoted".
That makes perfect sense, thanks for clarifying! I hope I am never on the receiving end of a cork shot, that's for sure.
He does care about people say about them. OoC has been here for a year! Flux made this site to get away from trolls and salt. You are just the kind of guy we tried to get away from.
Thank you so much for the feedback and details on those cards. I will have to mull it over. I have enough dust to craft 5 or 6 legendaries, but I tend to be really hesitant to pull the trigger. Thanks again!
@linkblade91: I didn't use the unicorn because I thought it wouldn't fit the competition theme and be disqualified. There's nothing celebrationary about it, it's just a homage to OoC itself.
Wow. I just checked one more time for feedback before submitting. When I came back, there were two more entries of advice I'd have wanted to read first. Sigh.

It's a fun card, cool idea! I'm not sure yet where this competition is headed, though. If people take it easy, this has a good chance to win. If they want to make realistic cards, it probably hasn't.

Shaked Soda appeals to me the most. I think there's a "randomly" missing in the card text. Look at Demon's card, it has a similar effect.

I like both of them, even though I already submitted my card using the piñata art. The art of Firework Specialist looks like it would be better as a neutral card for me.
The idea behind this card would be to enable a big Spells mage, since you would want to cast only big Spells (similar to Medivh) to gain value from it. However, it requires a sacrifice, since once you play Cosmic Mage you no longer want to cast any small Spells or targeting Spells. There is also tension between wanting to cast the spell immediately and wanting to get the most value, which creates an interesting game state. The opponent also knows that the double cast is coming (since Cosmic Mage costs too much to make use of the ability on one turn) so they can somewhat plan around it. What do ya'll think? Should the cost be higher, or is it appropriate?
All of your cards are party-themed which is great. Wine & Cork shot is functional for priest, although I don't quite get the flavour.

I feel like the downside/counter-balance is completely irrelevant, because in practice people will use this as a cheap mini-Bloodlust and win the game before the minions fall asleep.
I'm struggling to find a balanced cost/stat combo for the effect, so I'd appreciate any help with that.
I think the 4/4 is fine, but an argument could even be made for 5/4 or 4/5 stats. Djinni of Zephyrs has a similar effect in the positive, and his stats are nearly vanilla; your card also has an extreme downside to it, which will be more commonly procced.
I admit, burst damage negation is annoying... But the spell costs 6 mana :/ Learn to be cautious of your opponents remaining mana, especially after the first time they pull something like this off.
My question is, does it fully disengage them and let you do whatever with the 2 units? If 2 units both being challenged are targeted, does it disengage them both? If so, that IS pretty busted and sounds buggy...

I wasn't expecting Heimer to be tier 1 either, but seems like it is. Sejuani and deep are no surprise.

Deck titles can be more than just normal text
That's interesting, but I wouldn't risk the crash just for the colors :P
I will say, though, that "Girl Scouts" is an amusing name for a Miss Fortune/Quinn deck. I like that one the most.

I haven't been browsing the subreddit much lately; apparently this was discovered a few days ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/LegendsOfRuneterra/comments/gu4315/all_the_46_sprites_you_can_add_in_your_deck_title/
Just be careful--apparently there are a few invalid combinations that will cause your client to repeatedly crash until you reinstall.
