  • Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Two paired legendary minions, similar to Feugen & Stalagg and Acidmaw and Dreadscale. Must be from Witchwood set.

How good is this kind of play style as you get higher in the ranking? What are good counters for this kind of deck, and how can you keep from being countered?

Your deck is unconventional so its hard for me to judge, but I'd guess you're probably fairly weak against Vanguard Bannerman decks.  The hard counter to Bannerman is The Ruination, but I that's not really a good fit for your deck.

HOLY CRAP THANK YOU, Now that it's on mobile I'll actually be able to play casually! I just need MTG:A to join the party one day and I'll be set lol

What's boring me the most at the time, is the fact that neither my opponent or me really have control: everything is rng and generated value. I still do my dailies in HS though, but I'm not gonna lie, only because I invested so much time and money in the game : my head is telling me to just let it go, but I can't .

Runeterra is my breath of fresh air for 3 months now. Decision making and collection progression both feel great and rewarding. Try Runeterra Op, you might enjoy it.

  • New button in the battle.net version sliders

As someone who changes between regions everyday it's annoying.

Rather than it showing me what region I'm on (which I sometimes forget), it's now hidden under a different button.

Not the end of the world and I'll get used to it.  Seems to be more useful for things like WoW than HS for normal playerbase.

Here's what Magtheridon could have been

The effect was inspired by Magtheridon corrupting surviving orcs into fel orcs. Corruption is obviously a Warlock mechanic

Blizzards official writing could be more clear. As it is structured I think top 8 is dual tournament followed by single elimination top 4?

Are the group B play-in games also a dual tournament or single elimination? For relegation it seems to be three games... winners of initial matches are safe... and winner of the "losers match" is safe... the only player who loses twice is relegated.

I hate single elimination in card games but it is sometimes a necessary evil. If it's strictly to top 4, that seems better to me.

Made this due to the paladin looking hammer and the shield which reminded me of a demon

I ladder on Wild and Standard (Wild currently Legend, Standard Dia 3). Both modes have a very different meta and I get enough variety this way.

The Standard meta is as always very monotonous and boring, but the Wild meta is pretty divers at the moment and a lot of decks are playable. Just make sure to play Quest Mage or a deck, which can beat it (and yes there are a lot of options to do so at the moment).

  • How long will this deck last me?

I don't have specific experience playing this deck (though I've played around with similar mechanics in Expeditions). Shadow Isles and Ionia are the two best/most flexible regions in the game, and have been throughout the open beta.

Absent a deck list, I don't think we can say that your exact deck build will continue to be relevant in the metagame (feel free to share the deck list if you want specific advice around counters, weak points, etc.), but focusing in on getting cards from those two regions should give you the building blocks for meta decks for a long time.

  • Why is elusive in the game ?

    Quote From Vincent3383
I have been thinking about it since making that post and I agree with you. I think a good way take make it balanced would be if the elusive card has either taken damage or done damage in any way. They lose their elusive statues since they have now been seen.

I'm not sure making Elusive only last for a short time is the right way to go. But I'm not completely opposed to it, either.

Assuming it would get implemented, I'd drop the "damage taken" part at the very least. In fact, I'd say only eliminate a unit's elusive status after it has attacked and dealth combat damage. Anything else would make the keyword too weak in my opinion.

  • Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!

this game is fucked. just high roll vs high roll and card draw. Not sure why streamers are saying its such a good meta. ive never been so high rolled in my life. game after game. sick of it, unintstalled

  • Does LoR tend to lag on mobile?

I haven't had any problem with the iPhone mobile version in terms of performance. I think the trickiest things for me are things that don't map super well on to a small screen (e.g. hovering over my opponent's hand to see a revealed card proves to be nearly impossible).

    Does this seem overly complex?

  • Buff Vi.

    Quote From Elendil

I played her in Corina control and she was super good tool to stabilize against aggressive decks. She doesn't need that much attack, 5 is very easy to achieve and  often more than enough to remove any threat (with her challenger of course). Her health + tough makes her super hard to remove. There is no need to buff her, she is just not an aggro card.

Exactly this. Much like Fiora she isn't meant to level up consistently. Both cards serve as fantastic anti aggro tools.

Just wondering why they shifted away from the Shield-Ban format.

My top 5 in no specific order:

    - Almighty Brushwagg: That art. Makes my day every time I look at it
    - Boot nipper: Great card for drafts, that deathtouch can be annoying
    - Startling Development: Just a very interesting utility card I like (also the art/flavor text is great)
    - Quartzwood Crasher: Had this in a draft, had some fun matches until it ate some removal
    - Gyruda, Doom of Depths: One of the most fun matchups I had was when someone pulled tons of Gyruda from his graveyard and milled me this way. I also like that they are testing new things which are definitely inspired by Hearthstone
