Here are my 5 (in no particular order). Disclaimer: I tend to like a certain "type" of card as opposed to specific individual cards, although I have a couple I like.
The Triomes: I love multi-colored cards and will generally use a 3-color deck even if it's "worse" than a 2-color. These lands help to generate (albeit one turn later) the necessary mana.
The Ultimatums: Tri-color...LOL. Assuming you're able to pull it off, I enjoy big payoff cards. If one gets countered for a couple mana, I'll probably rage quit on the spot : /
Any card w/ split mana costs: e.g. Alert Heedbonder, Fiend Artisan, etc. Once again, the more colors the better : ) I just like the color options when casting, plus I think the split mana symbols look cool ; )
Kogla: I like this card mainly for the 1G mana. Very flavorful!
Narset: Her +1 ability allows you to choose from 3 different mana. Do we see a pattern here? LOL. I also like the -2 ability as it feels like there is a nice trade-off between dealing more damage, but losing a higher mana-cost card (obviously) which could help to generate a nice late game threat.
Well here they are. Good luck to everyone in the competition!
EDIT: I wanted to add that I just bought a Godzilla code on ebay this morning. Therefore if my name is selected, could you give the code to someone else. Thank you.
Is anyone else just bored with HS? Nothing seems fun to me.. i've done all the things (except stupid OTK combo decks), i've had awesome skipper armor smith combos. I've played and hated playing demon hunter as well as against. I have built spell druids, and mages and countless galakrond and singleton decks. What else is there. Battlegrounds? oh, you mean the every game is the same formula mode.. nah, pass. Murlocs, check. Totem's? yep, face hunter, pass. Anyone have any spicy things to liven things up in a stale meta?
Try building your own deck based around a particular card(s) that you enjoy. Such a shame that there isn’t some sort of mode where there could be restrictions on cards/classes/mechanics to allow people to create more elaborate decks that aren’t built around grinding someone down in 7-8 turns in the least interactive way. There needs to be greater rewards and achievements for using particular cards and mechanics, ultimately spicing up the variation of decks that people will face.Meme the dream and make Hearthstone fun again.
Big Spell Galakrond Shaman is my go to deck if I want to play something off meta at the moment. Galakrond package plus beefy spells plus King Phaoris essentially.
Encore is an incredible combo card, but with the Highlander restriction blocking both duplicates and Rogue shuffling shenanigans, it'd take a lot more creativity to pull off a combo with it. I went with Hall of Fame because 1) that's where the real ETC is, and 2) there isn't really an expansion that fits this guy.
I want to ask for feedback one more time before submitting my card. I am having second thoughts about whether or not three is the right number of Beasts to summon. When compared to other "big beast" stuff like Beastmaster Leoroxx or Kathrena Winterwisp, three looks fair. But when compared to cards like N'Zoth, the Corruptor or Zul'jin three looks like too little. Because Mukla is a Beast himself, I don't think you would want to play him in big/recruit Beast Hunter. I would rather he see play in regular Beast Hunter as a comeback card after you have run out of steam. What do you guys think?
I have to agree with you that 3 feels underwhelming, and I have always wanted a 10 mana finisher like this in beast hunter. I think the card has the same issues that made Abominable Bowman never find a good home. There are two sides to this;
#1: Beast Hunter typically has a lot of small tokens, so in order to take advantage of the summoning, you have to avoid cards with tokens. This naturally pushes you into a "Big Beast" format. You can counteract this by increasing the amount of Beasts summoned to increase the number of rolls and chances of summoning large beasts vs small beasts. However, increasing the number of Beasts summoned creates another problem...
#2: Tundra Rhino exists. Having a minion summon 7 Beasts that died, all it takes is 1 Tundra Rhino to turn that into a ridiculous amount of face damage for 10 mana.
Tundra Rhino really causes most of the issues, which is why I've always assumed there has never been a "Bloodreaver Gul'dan" for Beasts.
The last version of your card I saw says "summon 3 beasts and add 4 bananas to your hand". Maybe make it 4 beasts and 4 bananas?

Well after playing Corina, I feel like I can safely say the burn in this game is over the top. While I agree from past experience control decks do generally beat aggro, the burn deck that is being used right now I feel falls into it's own catagory. Unless I draw extremely well, it's a very big toss up on if I win or not and most of the time it feels like it's entirely dependent on how they draw vs whatever I have.
The amount of face damage they can do per man vs what you can heal is a pretty devistating difference and the health on some of the units make it very hard to even remove properly. Worse yet crimson boy makes wail a dead card most of the time, causing just about as much damage (sometimes more if there is two of them) than it solves or heals.
Other aggro type decks, the rare times I see anything other than burn are much more managable with the Corina control deck, as one would imagine with it being a control deck, it's just how it goes. The burn needs to be fixed. I'm not sure how too rather it's making cards easier to remove or reducing the amount of burn damage capable or simply increasing the cost of some of the units. But something, in my strict opinion, needs to be done with them.
While my winrate has definitely improved with a proper control deck and I am climbing far better than before, it simply in the end has opened my eyes to just how over the top burn is currently. I would be very surprised not to see changes to it in future patches. That said, my mini-conclusion/rant is over so I want to thank everyone in this thread for their advice, it has helped me a ton.
I ended up really like the Corina control deck and after playing around with a few more, I think control and more control oriented mid-range are the kind of decks I like. So I went ahead and crafted a Corina and a Heimer/Vi deck and am having a ton of fun with them despite so many games just burning alive. I tried some Demacia decks so I could use Radiant guardian and while very effective, none of the decks I tried really clicked with me, just kinda boring to play.
Also, just in case someone wants to point out the obvious, yes I could just play the burn deck too and I have, since it's also super cheap to make and play. My god was it mindless and boring. Smash face, if not winning within 5 minutes, surrender, repeat and the sheer amount of fast wins completely outweight surrendering slow but winnable games. So, deleted the deck. It sucked. Felt almost as bad/boring to play as it does facing it.
tl;dr Made Corina control, like it, better results, very cemented into the thought process that the current iteration of burn needs to be nerfed, not aggro as a whole. Thanking everyone for making my first thread so useful and informative, thank yah guys!
I play on the US server, to my knowledge at least. I'm not sure why, my internet connection is solid, but I guess we will see if others experience it as well. Thank you all for your insight.

[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Think of a place,
whose drinks make eyes droop
then, a container,
filled with worms or maybe soup
third, a way of speech,
so curt it’s almost rude
lastly, a kind of movement,
continuous and smooth

I have a copy of him but haven't used it yet.
I crafted Midrange Bannerman just to have a deck to try to climb with and had gotten lucky and gotten most of the cards already.
However, I have no idea what reward regions to go for lol.
Did Out of Cards make a guide on that yet by chance?

Have you tried a different card game just for the sake of switching things up?
No game is made to play exclusively, that's why there's so many of them. Try a new card game, or even a new game entirely.

Into the Shadows: The Fel Phase
Thanks. I think the people at Blizzard would love to learn things from a 14-year old.
Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!
So, why do my opponents get to play a different game than the one I'm playing?
The game my opponents play they always draw their deck in the exact right order. Playing the perfect god hand on curve.
The game I play, I draw the end of my deck first.
How do I get to play this game that my opponents get to play?
Into the Shadows: The Fel Phase
Just going to say this once.... Blizzard's R&D could learn a thing or two from you.
