Since they're looking at the below per Ayala, what does everyone think the nerfs will look like?
Skull of Gul'dan - My guess is rather than hit cost, they'll lower the discount on Outcast to 2. Though honestly even if they lowered it to 1 it would still be run in every single DH deck
Imprisoned Antaen - this one is tricky. Best option would be to lower the dmg when it wakes up to maybe 6 or 7. Alternatively they should cut the attack to 6 so that it's main value is the burst and not ALSO have a giant minion on the board. Again like the Skull, they could do both of those things and the card would still be very playable in virtually any deck.
Eye Beam - Either drop it to 2 dmg or lower (raise?) the Outcast discount to 1 mana
If there was any doubt that DH was completely over the top, here's a brawl where they cand raw through half of their deck and hit face for 20...on turn 2
Would it maybe be possible to save some development time and money on your side by just allowing people to import their cards from HSreplay.net?
I would guess you could do some server-side HTML parsing in a cron job and get the whole collection through that. When I go to HSreplay.net and open my collection, I can get a public link to my collection in the top left corner. The link to my collection looks like this: https://hsreplay.net/collection/2/28998325/ . You could also get the full list of my collection as a JSON through this endpoint: https://hsreplay.net/api/v1/collection/?region=2&account_lo=28998325 I am not sure though if those ids match the ids of hearthstone or your DB.
Just a thought... :)
Edit: HSreplay.net, not HSreplay.com
A while back when we had brought HSReplay on as the folks who serve winrate data on the site, we had briefly talked about collection data. The ability for us to integrate into their collections API definitely exists, though details on that were never worked on.
My biggest concern ends up being one of data laws. It becomes another element that has external data where we need to be in compliance with. Thanks to government officials around the world who are creating computer laws who have no real business to do so, it is a very real thing that you get to play with now. I also don't entirely love relying on external services which is why we are going to roll our own importing.
Now, if you wanted a box you could paste your JSON dump into, and we provided details on the format you needed to use (HSR's definitely works for this), it would take about 10 minutes to add to the site and I'll add it now.
That's a good point regarding if the attacks are successive or not. Scout would be much weaker if your opponent does get to make an action prior to your 2nd attack, thus sort of defeating the purpose of the 'Scout' in the first place....
Not really, built-in Rally is still pretty strong, but yes, it would be weaker. Tho having to go twice in a row without an opponent action might become pretty oppressive, if that was the case.
Is the desktop client going to be a separate application like the old Innkeeper, or a plugin for HDT? I hope it's the latter unless there are technical reasons why that won't work.
We do want our own desktop application because it will let us do more than only support Hearthstone. With that said though, I would like to make a plugin available for HDT for just the collection side of things so people who use that program and love it would be able to keep stuff in sync

I think that the scout keyword is pretty cool, and since it allows your opponent to play a unit after the first attack it feels somewhat balanced. Also, since scout doesn’t stack, once you have a scout unit on board it makes future scout units you play weaker.
No it does not make them weaker, only Scout units can attack in the "scout round", so each Scout unit makes that attack that much stronger.
Also, are we sure that after the scout-attack your opponent gets an action? I mean i would assume so, but the Quinn promo video makes me doubt it a tiny bit, especially the last combat, that part does not look cut and the player makes two continuous attacks :o
I tried to make counter decks to Demon Hunter today using anti-Aggro control or just minion spam decks; Big Taunt Druid, Control Warrior, Resurrect Priest, (Galakrond Zoo) Warlock, Beast Hunter. And all of them are wildly inconsistent. Demon Hunter is just good at everything, it has amazing draw power, removal, heal, and reach (OTK even), it's impossible to counter. Out of all the decks I tried today, Pure Paladin felt to most decent, and that was only when my draws were above average. How did the new class get released, despite being obviously overpowered :/
Note - This deck is not refined for the AoO meta. If DH doesn't get nerfed soon, you should add cheap removals like Spirit Lash, Penance, maybe Reliquary of Souls. I'm also running Soul Mirror instead of Lightbomb. I don't know how the meta would look like 1-2 months from now, so I can't say whether I did a mistake, but the legendary spell is more beneficial than the epic despite being 1 mana higher. For example, against Cubelock I get free Voidlords, which improve my N'Zoth, the Corruptor. If I tend to see many mid-range decks (Even Shaman), I will revert the change.
10/04/2020 Update:
I've played several games on the ladder with this deck and with a heavy heart I must say, that it's not very good in the new meta. In the previous one the deck wasn't astonishingly strong, but it felt alright. It dealt with warlocks, with highlander priests and with quest/burn mages to a certain degree. It kinda struggled against the more aggressive decks like pirate warrior and mech paladin, but I didn't encounter them that often, so the deck maintained a positive win-rate. With the launch of the AoO expansion and with the unbalanced design of the demon hunter class, I've started to see a lot of aggressive decks on the ladder, which my deck just can't handle. I think those will become even more popular in the near future (at least until we see the next balance changes), so I'm retiring the deck for now. If you want to try it out and improve it, go ahead. I'm planning to build a new deck, that has good synergies with Reliquary of Souls. The card is a good turn 1 play, but really weak w/o proper support. It has anti-synergies with N'zoth, Psychopomp and Twilight's Call and I don't really care about delaying fatigue, cuz Benedictus is already doing that job. Not to mention, top-decking a 7-cost minion, while I'm barely hanging on turn 5, is just not going to happen in this deck ever again.
The thing I’m most scared of is a combo of scout units and elusives, because that could mean a lot of unblockable attacks. Hopefully they add a keyword that means “this unit can block elusive units” during this expansio

Demon Hunter Nerfs Arriving Today! More Hearthstone Outland Balance Changes Coming Soon - We Were Not Prepared!
Perhaps Skull's outcast could discount cards by 2 mana instead of 3, making it more like Lunar Visions.
Out of Cards Changelog - 2020-04-07 - Collection Manager for Hearthstone
Got an update deployed out. The third tab on the collection page will allow you to import via JSON input provided from HSReplay.net.

This Week's Tavern Brawl is The Fury of Kael'Thas - Every Third Spell Cast Costs 0!
If there was any doubt that DH was completely over the top, here's a brawl where they cand raw through half of their deck and hit face for 20...on turn 2
Whipped up something real quick but I don't have the cards
This deck might be better as a standard deck where Reliquary of Souls is the only 1 mana legendary.
Whipped up something real quick but I don't have the cards
There are currently 5 1-drop legendaries in the game. So what you're saying is that this is a deck with a 20% chance of hitting its win condition.
Sounds right up my alley! I'm in! (as soon as I get the dust)

Also defensive Demon Hunter beats the Aggro version, with all those strong Demons, AoE and Lifesteal Sen'jin Shieldmasta etc.

Weird, I wonder why it works like this for Eye Beam but not The Coin.
