I assume at the time they thought it was a bit too much tempo for a turn 1 play when Galakrond + the quest were wreaking havoc on the meta. Maybe they realized it was a little overkill?
I already run Precious Pets, i switched them for Arachnoid Horrors, since i had too many 2-drops, but maybe i will add the 3rd one and will see what i do with the 2 slots. Maybe i'll add two Kalistas to see how they perform :d
It took the fall for some of the newer cards that they wanted to collect more data on (and probably didn't want to pull the trigger on nerfing so soon after just introducing them, too).
It was a statistically really strong card in every deck it was in - I totally get why they chose it to try and curb some of Shaman's power. Now that Shaman has no power though, it's a perfectly fine card to bring back.
Oh man, missed the finalist voting phase, got too busy. Cool to see I made the finalists again with my fortune telling card, but glad I didn't win. the other cards were better and while I like the flavor of my card, I'm not sure it'd be fun to play with.
I still am confused as to why this was nuked in the first place. It's a rare class specific card. It was supposed to be a little more powerful than the neutral cards.
My first idea for the comp. It's trying to imply that the minions are inside the Watchtower.
Not sure how balanced or exciting it is. Edit: Didn't think about how you could put two of them next to each other and essentially make them permanent. Crap.
Definitely do Precious Pet over the rearguards: I think Pet actually does more average damage thanks to its fearsome, plus it synergizes with your spiders.
Kalista essentially acts as a mistwraith + brother's bond for 3 mana: sometimes she closes the game out fast, sometimes she just dies off. The only reason why I'm still using her is because I wanted my deck to be as aggressive as possible.
The sentries are definitely my least favorite card in my deck because they usually don't help me push damage. For your deck, I could make the argument that they can stall out your opponent a little bit (e.g., stunning a monk or Hecarim to buy another couple of rounds), but realistically you already have five 3-drops that you prefer so sentry is just going to feel awkward too often.
Defender of Argus goes really nicely with Brann and if you can get Brann on board then defender of argus your creatures then start putting down the card that gives your taunt minions +2/+2 that is +4/+4 per drop which is significant. Those cards plus 5 good murlocs will carry you into end game.
its just because of the wording of the flavor text it shows an oversight of the cards design
it should be Battlecry: Your opponent draws a card. Add two copies of that card to your hand
nothing special but its just the little things
I agree, it's my least favourite of the finalists. When you get to that stage, little things like that really stand out. As written, the card makes no sense. Obviously you can intuit what it's meant to do, but on first reading it just sounds wrong
In defence, I would argue the card to be copied is implicit. If it produced a copy of itself, it would be "add two copies of this", while nothing else is referenced. I could have used the wording suggested. which is arguably better, but there are examples in game where a subject is referenced once explicitly, and then a second time implicitly, which is what I've done here.
Edit: The more I look for examples, the more I'm convinced I was wrong. Oh well, learning experience.
9th March update: SlugCat's WILD Jade Dragon Druid ft. Tentacled Menace (1080p)
Fancy a 1 cost Ultimate Infestation? Or perhaps a 2 cost Ysera Unleashed? All of this is possible with Tentacled Menace! Alternatively, it can make your Jade Idol cost 9 (sad times).
An interesting take on Jade Druid with dragons - but is this deck more fun than competitive?
Also, what does everyone think of the strange Reno Secrets Mage in the final game.
Hearthstone's Arena Class Winrates and Popularity Stats Since the New Rotation on March 4
Good job on 8 wins. Hunter has always been a very polarizing class, it either does really well or the opposite. Good luck in your next run :)

i like these cards i would roll with chain lightning in my opinion so im going to critique that one
this cards seem op dealing 6 damage to one minion and 4 damage to adjacent minions is pretty good in my opinion so heres my ideahs to critique it
1 increase the overload (so that way theres more of a drawback for making playing this probably just an over load of 3 would be fine)
2 lower the damage ( lower the damage so that way it wont be a mini board clear doing so you might wanna lower the cost and/or overload also)
3 increase the cost (same way as the rest just to minimize the op-ness of this card )

Escaped Mansaber/Freezing Trap Interaction
I had the same situation come up, and I did play the mansaber first, yet it bounced to my hand... thus making me hate Hunter all the more.

This is a weird one, for me at least. I've never been the biggest fan of positioning effects.

I had a decent run with Paladin and got 8 wins. The class that literally destroyed me all 3 times was Hunter...
