Whoops! Sorry about that. The blog post announcement swapped Modern and Legacy in ordering from the first section to second. Still though, more care should have been taken >.>
The patch a week from tomorrow is supposed to be a hard-hitting balance update. What are your hopes and dreams for it? What will be nerfed? What will be buffed? What will be totally redesigned?
There is already a thread about HecarimBADCARDNAME, the low-hanging fruit of this topic, so let's take that one as given and not bother discussing it here.
Besides he-who-must-not-be-named, what else do you expect to see changed?
I'll start! Even though I'm seeing more Kalista lately, she still doesn't seem good ... like, at all. I wonder if she might see a buff.
Thanks for this! I'm pretty sure I've heard talk of yogg hunter in the past as well. Looking forward to messing around with the card.
Tbh I'm not sure if I can see yogg being unnerfed, mind you. I was thinking about it and, given the way that shudderwock, lynessa, tess greymane, etc have been adjusted, it seems that blizzard are aiming for consistency in the idea that all minions with 'do x for every y you have played earlier in the game' will stop casting if they get killed. But I live in hope...
Thanks again, and props for the 'his dark materials' reference. Cracking set of books - I'm currently working my way through the book of dust :)
My favorite Shadow Isles card is [Hearthstone Card (Glimpse Beyond) Not Found].
I know that it is in every deck but I don't like it for the sacrifice synergy or the insane power of a 2 mana draw 2. [Hearthstone Card (Glimpse Beyond) Not Found] is the best value counter card in the game. I almost never use it not for a reaction. It should read "Makes your opponent discard removal and waste the mana.' It turns any of your opponents removal into draw 2 for you and if they have a enlightened [Hearthstone Card (Emerald Awakener) Not Found] it becomes sac your smallest minion to deal 6 to the opponent AND draw 2.
Hosts are good, i often finish the game off their buff or at least do significant damage to follow up on that.
Pranksters r kinda crucial, since they are your only reach (except Overwhelm) when your opponent has a board. I have won many games on the backs of Pranksters.
Brood Awakenings i might agree with, like a week ago, they were still performing well, but lately, i just dont really find a way to play them in a good situation, since i almost always have 4 or more minions on the board and for the +1 buff, it is not worth to give your opponent an action in return. They are good as fodder for Pranksters or as a T3 play if you didnt have anything to play on first two turns, but im starting to feel like if that is the case, you might have other problems. From the three cards you mentined, this is the only one i think i might try and cut. Maybe i will try Rearguards instead, to accelerate early damage and to "guarantee" to have a T1 play.
That being said, i still win majority of my games, provided i play like 3-4 per day (just for the daily win bonus). I do play in Casual. I dont think it would be a very good deck to ladder with, but if you need some fast wins, it gets the job done.

About Kalista, i dont feel like it would do much, at least in my version. 2-health is just abysmal, so she would basically act as any of the 1/1 tokens that was buffed. I have Darius there as a reach, 10 dmg on Overwhelm can usually finish the job.
How are Arachnoid Sentries working out for you? I love that card, but often times just stunning something doesnt achieve a whole lot, since your opponent just plays another thing with his action that can block you instead )and ur where ur started. That being said, both decks play pretty much in a similar fashion, so i guess it is just matter of preference.
First minion sold sells for 2 each turn. It's thematic and offsets the cost of rolling, but only once, and only if you can afford to sell, which is more often the case in late game when you're looking for something specific and rolling more.
Small caveat: If you get a lot of losses in an Expedition, it's much closer to breaking even. I'm not sure if you can actually fall behind with maximum losses, but it can't be by much. (I don't remember if you get XP on an individual loss in Expeditions.)
Hello, I recently got Masters and wanted to try to get it again on my new account. I've noticed many mistakes on newer players in many cases where I would have lost. This game is mainly on putting many hours into it. Understanding every card/deck combinations. I somewhat know what my enemy will play before he even plays it.
I had a fairly succesful Mill version of this deck a few months ago - I'd reccomend adding the shark spirit. Lots of battlecrys in c'thun rogue - and I'd reccomend a second shadowstep too because of the battlecrys.
You can get some diirrty plays if you shadowstep well allowing for double c'thun plays, meaning you can get the c'thun battlecry off three times in a game. Great for control matches.
Sinti, how much luck are you having with that spider deck?
Most of the spider decks I've seen on the 'net will try to run faster--i.e., cutting the pranksters and Brood Awakening and often even the hosts in favor of trying to end the game sooner. He's my personal take (Darius is probably better than Kalista but I like a challenge):
If you include the per-win XP along with the end-of-trial bonus, you are still getting more XP overall than you would playing the same number of normal PvP games.
I never did the math, but this is what I thougt. In light of this, I'd say the XP reduction was a good move. I can finally feel good about playing some constructed after my 3 weekly expeditions without gimping my progress.
The YoD card absolutely is NOT Elysiana. They only reason going from 8 to 9 was relevant was because it disabled Seance and Baleful Banker shenanigans, and they are both rotating out of standard. And that combo is irrelevant in wild.
It's most likely one of the Shaman cards--my guess would be Sludge Slurper.
Honestly? Still needs a little refinement, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. It's definitely not a Tier One deck, but it destroys Ezreal Combo decks and aggro decks and is OK against Hecarim and Karma. Elusives are a crap-shoot: I need to race them, and if they get lucky on either Omen Hawks or Will of Ionia its usually a loss. But it just loses hard against any control deck that run The Ruination, and there's not much to be done about it.

Dude, have my like!
At last, a deck which lets me use blackhowl in a useful way.
Tried several memes in the past times and never had such fun, thanks!

Might be OP with an early token though.

Deathwing is Hearthstone Battlegrounds' Most Powerful Hero - A Nerf is Being Tested Internally
I like Deathwing's unique playstyle, but I'm glad for the nerf. He's definitely mindless and pretty overpowered

I think that's a pretty reasonable starting place.
Blizzard Shares the Hearthstone Battlegrounds Rating Distribution Data from Active Battlegrounds Players
Ditto. I'm actually pretty surprised. Especially when all the streamers I watch are in the 10K's

That would mean he gets minions for only 2 gold with virtually NO downside.
The Most Picked Minions by Tavern Tier in Hearthstone's Battlegrounds
Defender makes sense in that it - or rather the battlecry - fits every build, at the time where you're hitting or sitting at 4.

He's quite good with Deathrattles like Goldrin, Spawn or Selfless. Other than that, I'm quite surprised to see he's the 1 Taver 4 minion.
