Forsaken Harbinger - 5 stars - I love this card, and is my pick for whom I want to win this competition. Priest really needed Lackey support, and I don't see why they barely got any.
I also want Forsaken Harbinger to win. It's a great card, and I think whomever made the card is very smart and wise and handsome.
*awkward cough*
If I had to knock my card at all, it's that I didn't call it "EVIL Harbinger": it probably should have been called "EVIL (something)", to match the other cards. I didn't think about it until after I submitted. All well. Edit: That being said, Sludge Slurper exists and does not have EVIL in its name.
I never really played LoL, but this seems like a fun exercise regardless. Here's my take on Pyke:
I do really like the thought of "when I kill, Rally"--it reminds me a bit of HS Gonk Druid. But I fear your numbers are way overstat'ed--challenger elusive regeneration would be busted on its own for 3 mana before even considering the ability to challenge a low-health unit and rally.
It works the same for Tough. And I imagine a 0-mana Thermongenic BeamBADCARDNAME.
I can see the logic: the unit was assigned damage; the amount of damage happened to be 0. To go back to your example: if I had a Crimson Curator out, you cast Grasp of the Undying on it, and then I burst a Prismatic Barrier, I think the game would assign -0 HP to the Curator, +0 HP to your nexus, and grant me a crimson card. Similarly, if you Chain Vest instead, I think the game would assign -2 HP to the Curator and +2 HP to your nexus.
The thing that bugs me a little is that frostbite works differently: 0 attack units don't strike, so they never technically deal damage which is apparently different from dealing 0 damage. It's a bit far out, but that's the reason why brittle steel can stop a Teemo/runecard]vor Ezreal effect.
The problem was not connected to the effect by itself (I don't understand what you're trying to say: if a single minion has more than one keyword, Countess Ashmore will always draw it because of the one no other unit in your deck has), but rather to the cost of the card: with 7 mana there are a quite a lot of better thing you can do. In other words: the card is (was and will always be) slow.
I understand your sadness since I own a copy myself and I've experienced the same deck building frustration, but in a meta where a 7 drop gives you an Arcanite Reaper and draws you 4 0-costed cards there isn't much place you our beloved Countess...
Only thing I'd disagree on is that Dragon Hunter "leverages outstanding matchups" against popular Warrior decks based on personal experience and hsreplay.
but u should prolly craft 3x crimson curator asap in that deck. and the 4 mana 5/5 dude.
Lol yeah; I'm F2P so when I'm trying something new I usually substitute a lot before committing wildcards. Plus, playing with 1-ofs helps me evaluate how good something feels before I commit to it.
I've refined this deck a lot since Wednesday, but then I started losing hard with it so I started experimenting again. I updated the OoC version to reflect my current decklist. Honestly, I think this archetype just isn't strong enough for the current meta. Like the Crimson Awakener guy you mention: OK, he's a good threat on Round 4, but then what? Aggro decks already have you below 10 HP by then, and Control decks are fine stalling a vanilla 5/5 while their value comes online. Meanwhile, his played effect does about as much harm as good--you almost always lose at least 1 unit.
If anyone has had any recent success with this archetype I'd love to hear how they're achieving it, but personally I've really soured on it over this week.
I'll miss Arcane Keysmith, and kinda sad I never got to find a way to abuse Toki, Time-Tinker. Also with the end of Year of the Dragon, we'll also lose Boomsday and Rakistan Rumble, RIP the short lived Hand Mage, and never really got much value out of Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk, nor much from Hex Lord Malacrass. Well here's hoping we can make Wild a bit wilder.
Any unit that has a "when you survive damage" effect will trigger when it has barrier. While that kind of effect is not hugely problematic today, it seems generally unintuitive to me, as the unit hasn't actually taken any damage. Other effects (like the "drain" from Grasp of the Undying) don't treat that as damage.
I never really played LoL, but this seems like a fun exercise regardless. Here's my take on Pyke:
What is the point of "grant me elusive this round"? i dont recall anything that would matter for him to have it anywhere but during attacking, so it might as well just have elusive, which makes the ability a bit weird. Other than that, seems interesting.
I guess if you are not atacking, then you are not elusive, thus you wont trigger level up, so is it designed like that solely for the lvlup condition?
Yeah, it gates the level up a little bit, but it also prevents him from blocking elusive units, which is relevant for the leveled up version (the kill condition is separate from attack, though there's no good way to show that with the card creator I used).
I'm still sad I could never build a deck good enough to include Countess Ashmore. Seems like she would have been good in control decks with Zilliax but sometimes it counted Zilliax as the rush minion instead of the lifesteal and you only got one or two draws instead of two or three
I saw this deck twice on ladder this afternoon and thought: wow, what a bold new deck--I bet some streamer has popularized it in the last 48 hours and these guys are just copying it. And I was right. :-P
I'm gonna miss Lifedrinker the most. I love the combination of a straight up face card combined with a healing effect, all packaged with a lovely beast tag. Used not just in combo decks, but also saw play in a variety of aggro, tempo and midrange decks. Powerful and flexible, but not OP. One of the best designed HS cards of all time.
Cavern Explorer - 4 stars - The artwork is really cute and the effect works for Rogue. It lost 1 star though because the artwork quality scales down a bit as you zoom into the card, as well as the fact that the card is a Rare whereas all of the other Explorers are Common, and I didn't really see a reason this card needed to deviate from that cycle.
Heist Deviser - 5 stars - I debated for a while whether to give this 4 or 5 stars. The effect is really fun, although sometimes I felt that keeping the Lackeys would actually be better than replacing them with random spells (even with the Cost reduction). Maybe not. It's a nice effect that works best with Rogue, who are just lackey-pumping machines.
Archmage Manastorm - 4 stars - Functionally balanced and the art is good. The effect is just a bit underwhelming for the condition.
Forsaken Harbinger - 5 stars - I love this card, and is my pick for whom I want to win this competition. Priest really needed Lackey support, and I don't see why they barely got any.
EVIL Boomshell - 4 stars - I feel like just playing Clockwork Goblin is going to be better than this because it doesn't need setup. That said, if you can get the setup working, it's going to be awesome!
Mummy Momma - 3 stars - The art is pretty nice! The effect is balanced. But... when you use the Classic watermark on a card that has not 1, but 2 keywords not available in Classic, it's off-putting (to me at least, I know some people don't care about this as much). In addition to Reborn being mainly an Uldum mechanic, the art screams Uldum to me. Also, the name could be better but that's not as bad as the other criticism.
Plague of Undeath - 3 stars - The effect is really cool, but the artwork quite jarringly deviates from Hearthstone's normal art style so much.
Dark Resurgence - 5 stars - This is a pretty neat Sidequest, and I like the way the effects are used. Sidequests are not a Warlock mechanic, but I suppose that was the idea.
Sucks that some Legendaries didn't see any kind of play during their Time in Standard. Would've loved to make a Control-Priest with Chameleos or a Dragon-Hunter with Emeriss work.
Or, if nothing else? Print an equivalent of him as a replacement for one of the Legendary cards, if Edwin or Leeroy actually do get HOF'd. Look, it would be better than nothing.
I'm not a budget player, I'm a collector. I own every card in the game and I don't see myself slowing down on that pace anytime soon. So don't anyone make the argument that I have a personal bias here, as this change would not affect me in the slightest. But I do understand that a card like Whizbang as a permanent addition to Standard makes the game a lot more accessible for people, especially considering how much more expensive Hearthstone gets with every new set.
There's been some talks of it around the forums here and there, but never anything serious. With rotation season growing closer and closer, I think we as a community really need to make a big push to Blizzard about this and see where it gets us. Now or never, you know?
Good deck for low level climbing?
Thanks, I'll try this one out with Jinx.

Good deck for low level climbing?
The OutOf.Cards team does a pretty good job of making weekly posts with good decklists on the front page. :-P
Here are some you can try.
1.) Aggro, except substitute your free Jinxfor the Vlad:
2.) Fearsome ideal:
3.) Fearsome budget; slot in any/all Hecarims you have, try to make it SI-heavy so you can use Wraithcaller
4.) Elusive Burn--lots of variants; you probably want something like this:

I love the charge shaman deck where you get the battlecry charge war horse and slam your 30 attack shudderwock into the face of your opponent.
Galakrond Warrior
I pushed the autocomplete button and got this exact list. Went 15-0 with it.
I repeat: 15 wins, zeeeerooo losses! Rank 5 to rank 2 in one go. Best winstreak at high ranks i have ever gotten.
Got to admitt though that i Lost the following 3 Games to Druid ...

I agree. In wild, whizbang is totally useless because he only uses standard deck recipes. He is a much better replacement for Ragnaros the Firelord than High Inquisitor Whitemane.
