They are free because the decks are statistically overpowered. Doesn't matter how much of your brain (in Hearthstone, omegalul) you have to use, you're still abusing overtuned decks.
Also you can still play those decks, you just gotta earn those wins now, lmao
they're not free if it takes high skill use your thinking brain jimbo
edit: another example would be decks like ANT or Storm in MTG that require an incredible amount of thought to play around certain specific counterspells and whatnot as well as a high degree of execution. the problem is that hearthstone refuses to implement any sort of counterplay to combo/miracle decks besides durr hurr me play single card that has 1/4 chance of making it impossible for you to win the game.
This design has me baffled. There's a cute pin cushion (too small for those pins, but hey, fine, gotta make it all fit) and a pair of pins. Then two ends of what might be a cross between a seam ripper and an embroidery hook? And the text is about presents and gifts?
"Due to Blizzard being uncertain about the changes they are going to be making for Signature Cards, any players with the Signature version of Anub'Rekhan as of December 20 at 10 AM PST, will receive 1600 Arcane Dust at login later in the week. This is not a standard distribution going forward, things may change regarding Signature Card refunds."
Do you own a Signature version of Anub'Rekhan? He was nerfed, but you can't disenchant that card, so this one-time-only deal was to give people 1600 dust as compensation while they decide how to handle the Signatures.
I don't have death yet, so not been running the death wave package. I've been playing a Deadpool/Venom deck with Taskmaster and Zola.
I have taken out Hood for Knull for now, see how it goes. Now the deck has 3 finishers, I'm sure it'll just be even stronger now.
The King in Black story sounds good. I remember the "Birth of Venom" story that came out of Secret Wars, and Black Suit Spidey, and then the "Maximum Carnage" story that was the beginning of Carnage (better book IMO)
TBH I stopped really paying attention to Symbiote stuff when I got older though, as it seemed to be way more commercial then when I was a young Gen X'er in the 80's.
Maybe they are worth checking out again though. I know I do really like my Symbiote/Destroy Deck in Snap, and even have collected Venomized Variants for as many of the cards for the Deck as I have been able to so far (love the Deadpool one the most)
That is a pretty good solution. I still think the biggest issue with Discard Warlock is that it has a lot of burst damage that you can't heal through while dealing with all their free minions. If you AOE a Pirate Rogue's board early, they are shit outta luck. The same isn't true of Discard Warlock.
Heh, I saved up 5k gold, I will get 500 gold from level 49, some gold from weeklies and then gold from event itself and should be enough for Sunspot, and just by spending money on reward track only... though I started saving gold as soon as sunspot bundle got leaked weeks ago... (and I already had 1000 gold unspent when I started)
Considering that 6000 gold is usually 7500 credits (default exchange rate is 120 gold for 150 credits), it is a really good deal, not only you get 500 extra credits but also 2000 tokens on top and some cosmetics and boosters
Consistency is a huge hit to combo decks. In the ideal case, yes you can still do the Anub'Rehkan Astalor combo. However, that's now only in the ideal case. You need to get the right mana first. You need the opponent to be at the right health. You need to only play only those cards. You need to have all the pieces line up, which takes more time, which opens the deck up to more losses.
I think the idea is to incentivize Unholy decks to double down on Corpse generation and Corpse Bride is supposed to be the big payoff. Compare it to Spiteful Summoner and it doesn'T look that bad
First thought was a minion with the text "After your opponent summons a minion, destroy it." Unfortunately, no such minion exists. Still, the only words that come to mind are 'summon' and 'destroy'.

I probably should've just gone through all the card art. Might've seen the spiky snowball. All I remembered was that Tavern Brawl specific card.

Well, I clicked every single collectible card from MotLK and DK class. Is it something from WoW, or is it related to the prologue?
Is Corpse Bride even a buff...? You're forced to commit more into one body that can be easily stalled/removed which isn't exactly a good thing. I might be wrong but this doesn't feel like it makes the card good.
I wouldn't say Surfer is a good guy doing bad things. More of an immortal that has seen the universe and is starting to get disillusioned with it. Granted, I haven't read much more than what's presented here.
I'm very glad it worked out well for you, EthanPaultio. Sorry that I've just seen your comment but hey, better late than never I guess 😅 It looks like notifications button was bugged for some reason.
Anyways, I've updated this deck with recent expansion in mind. Feel free to have a look and have a nice day/night.
I know its unpopular, but it had to done sooner or later, because we're gonna have to take another year of him before rotation. And whether or not anyone agrees, its highly unlikely that team5 designs aggro cards without considering the 40 health.
Frost DK for example have actual difficulties reaching 40 damage, so we may argue that its either renathal gets hit or we buff their burn. Other decks like dhunter and spooky mage burns health so easily its very nearly tilting. So if I have to choose between toning down the prince or buffing everyone's aggro, I'd take the former anyday.
I dont think it was nerfed because of the 1 hour priest mirrors, the record is currently 1.5 hours control warrior matchup if Im not mistaken. Four lovely turns of 35 seconds waiting for your opponent to click hp.

What is going on here?
1600 dust
I´d guess it´s because you own a signature card of Anub'Rekhan.
Here´s the source, it´s on the front news page in the buff and nerf article:
"Due to Blizzard being uncertain about the changes they are going to be making for Signature Cards, any players with the Signature version of Anub'Rekhan as of December 20 at 10 AM PST, will receive 1600 Arcane Dust at login later in the week. I just received a message stating I got 1600 free dust. Any idea why?

“Booster Magnet” is probably something you can give a card to increase the chances of getting boosters for that card.
