It would be kind of nice to have like a "Practice" mode where you could at least play against the A.I. with all the cards unlocked. That would give people a chance to try new and different mechanics to at least get a feel for how they play and if it's even reasonable to try in the meta.
Silly player, then how would Blizzard get you to spend your dust unwisel and encourage you to buy more packs?
Win or lose, I'm already tired of this card. I shouldn't be forced to not use any spells over 5 mana when I face a deck with Ionian cards.... Idk if it needs to be hard nerfed, but something needs to be done about this card solo winning certain matchups.
so they offer a bunch of different bundles throughout the year and all of the money from those goes straight to blizzard
you think that now more people are actually gonna buy the bundles? I don't think so, it's going to be usual spenders, maybe 1-3% more people decide to buy it for the fact that some of that money will go to the players
so looking at it like that, it seems like a cool move from blizz side
also if the cap is not hit, we'll know exactly how many bundles were sold ;)

Crafted 3 epics yesterday, 2cmana cyclones and a plague of murlocs for elemage and control shaman respectably, needlessly to say Both decks suck.
Thanks blizzard for being able to test decks cheaply.. Oh wait.
If you want to test decks cheaply, let other people do it for you then craft cards if the deck is found to be good. Or if it is an option you can get a friend to make the deck, then use that deck in games against them.
Asking to be able to test everything cheaply yourself is asking for a lot more than your off-hand comment makes it sound. If you can come up with a way to do it that both lets you test against the meta and doesn't decimate Blizzard's profits (they justifiably wouldn't do it if it did), then you should let them know.
Anyway, I play exclusively meme/low power decks, so either everything I craft is a bad idea or nothing is. Though I'm pretty sure Bolf Ramshield qualifies as a truly bad idea. I don't remember what the plan was, but I know it didn't even meet my low low expectations.
They could start by increasing the chance of getting epics.. sometimes I am more excited to open a specific epic than a legendary..
My friends don't play hearthstone or they don't have a big collection, most of them quit.. guess why.
I got around 15K dust stored in duplicates but you never know what they will nerf so I can't press "disenchant all" button and going over all commons one for one is a pain, also I am in high hope Blizzard one day decides to stop being so greedy and increase the dust per common to 10 or decrease the cost of epics.. I can keep dreaming on that..
Then people complain why people net deck so much, can't try stuff myself so I have to copy what works so I am not stuck with a meme deck.
I got one event quest by rerolling my one open quest; then the next day (this morning at midnight) I got another one. So basically they "drop" both from rerolling existing and natural new daily quests. Did not try to re-roll 2 or 3 at a time.

I'm asking this because obviously part of the game designers intent was to have decks be built around champions stronger effects. As of now, I am seeing plenty of decks do extremely well with absolutely no champions in them - and it's more than I'd honestly even like to see. What's everyone's thoughts on this?
As an example, here is a video I made of a very common Ionia/Demacia deck running around right now with zero champs: Ionia/Demacia Deck.
In general, I think they're fine--I personally think they taste bland, but I don't have anything inherently against them. Specifically regarding the elusive-buff deck from your video: I suspect your success is most attributed to elusive being more powerful than the developers intended to the point where any of the existing Ionia or Demacia champions would be a downgrade right now. It's very easy to envision a world where sneaking in nexus damage from elusives isn't as reliable (e.g., maybe they make a new rule where all the attack damage from elusives is halved, or maybe they add in allies that can block elusives but don't attack as elusive), and all of a sudden you are considering adding either Zed and Lucian for additional early pressure or Garen and Lux to give you some late-game value.
The other champion-less deck I read about pre-launch but haven't actually seen in-game was Swim's Frejlord / Shadow Isles control deck. Looking online, it looks like he's updated it to include Braum, so I'm guessing even he is now thinking its better to squeeze in some champions if you can make them fit.
I remember crafting Mukla ages ago for Midrange Hunter. To be fair though, he actually wasn’t that bad. He helped with getting in a nice chunk of damage early on, and the bananas usually didn’t end up screwing me over
You can add braum to control SI freljord, and fiora or Lucian to the elusive demacia/Ionia I think people don't put champions in decks.. Cause they don't have them.
Have you ever had a moment when you wanted to craft an expensive card (Epic or Legendary) based on an idea you know is going to be bad of a deck you know that will never work, but you just have to do it for the fun of it?
What was the card, and what was the result of this endeavor?
I am having that moment right now... and was wondering how others handled it :)
You don't care about it when you're doing fine, but when you're on the short end facing the same two opponents over and over again feels miserable. I remember a run in which I faced Tirion literally every odd turn until I eventually died.
Now we'll have a tad more diversity.
This is one of the reasons why I've avoided BGs since December. Time to get back in!
I was wanting to think that getting Blessing of the Horse 4 times in a row as a mage was just a lucky coincidence but now that you say you basically experienced the same playing Paladin ... that can't only be the randomly generated random when it is that consistent. As for the inconsistent wording and passive effect not triggering, need I to remind you all that the 3 previous brawl iterations were ... having issues. Now 4th?
Not sure how viable this is at top ranks, but it's been fun getting some good wins with my Buff Spiders deck. Mostly Shadow Isles with some Demacia in there to buff units. Made this day 1 with a very limited card pool in my collection so likely due for a slight reworking.
At least the devs said that they're keeping an eye on this card. I feel that they could nerf it in a lot of different ways too since there are so many things it can stop. They could make it a Slow spell or limit what spells/abilities it can stop. Raising the mana cost seems a bit lazy, but it's an option. There's also the possibility that they could change it to a 0 cost card and have it operate somewhat like Thermogenic Beam where you have to spend just as much mana to stop the spell that your opponent is playing.
That being said, I do like that "refill your opponent's spell mana" option as well.
I've been seeing around people putting in the Heimerdonger + Noxian guilatine (spelling lul) to counter elusive units. Playing a 3-cost spell gives the 3/1 elusive turret which kills almost every elusive unit by itself.
I feel like if they want to "fix" Elusive, making it a more neutral keyword found in more regions might help. Flying works in MTG because every color has access to at least a little bit of it, and there's specific counter to it.
That moment you know you have a bad idea
I crafted 2 Portal Overfiend for my Portal Warlock. It was okay, but not game breaking though.
That moment you know you have a bad idea
Silly player, then how would Blizzard get you to spend your dust unwisel and encourage you to buy more packs?
That moment you know you have a bad idea
Ah yes, I remember when I crafte Lady in White thinking that there had to be some way to make that card playable
There wasn't
So, how long is Deny gonna stay at 3 mana?
Win or lose, I'm already tired of this card. I shouldn't be forced to not use any spells over 5 mana when I face a deck with Ionian cards.... Idk if it needs to be hard nerfed, but something needs to be done about this card solo winning certain matchups.

Baku the Mooneater?
Most of it lines up I suppose.

Crafting Runeterra Decks on a Budget: Exploring an Elusive Meta
This is probably a drastic measure, but how bad would Elusive cards be if they could only block other Elusive units?
Favorite champions not yet in the game?
Nasus as a 1/4 challenger regen with Strike: gain +1/+1 and Level Up: I've struck 3 times.
Are we OK with decks having no champions!?
