Are these heroic missions... easier than the other adventures'?
So far I've beaten all the missions but one with a standard Quest Rez Priest deck. That didn't work for Lazul (her ability to copy my cards was brutal against that) but I tried Galakrond Rogue and beat her first try.
There's also the bit of info where it's only been yaknow Only a week Of Free to play rewards On a completely free game That throws a champion card, 6 rares, 24 commons, and 1000+ shards (1/3 champion card) at you each week as long as you're playing it to vault level 10, and spending the expedition token earned from it for the champion at least.
On top of that, the extra shards I just mentioned, can be used to get the epics you want instead of, yaknow, the game deciding you get an epic you really don't want.... :/
That's not including the reward tracks, that's just strictly the vault speaking
The game needs to make money some how, you can't expect the game to throw every champion and epic at you, at least not this quickly.
I don't agree with your assessment of the game, I think there are enough answers and there is a lot of skill in mulliganing for, deckbuilding and outplaying your opponent in a manner you will get a favorable board state.
1. HP in the game- I thought it was too little but actually it it's fine since you can almost always block it compared to games like hearthstone you need a special keyword to block face damage, that makes nexus damage much more valuable I am ok with the game being balanced around 20 hp, as long as you generally don't die by turn 4, in the state of the game by how powerful the late game options are making the hp pool larger would skew the game toward a heavy control meta.
2. hell no, drawing more cards is not good for the game, you can't spend them and you will constantly overdraw with any none aggro deck, besides you would fatigue faster (in this game fatigue= instant lose) and Teemodecks will be so much oppressive (they are not that much but they would be).
3. No, just nerf deny.. even to 5 mana is not an exaggeration the card is too good at 3 mana.
Elusive needs either to be separated into 1 turn elusive and permanent elusive(like camouflage vs stealth in league) , or all elusive followers (not champions, Teemo and Ezreal are fine) need a nerf across the board.
Braum instantly wins any early game, he needs to be bumped to 4 mana OR reduce his health to 4 (and requirement to 8). a single buff on him and he is a monster.
Fiora is too good standalone just slapped into decks as a 3/3 challenger which might win you the game alone, sometimes also is a removal bait, I would suggest making her level up at 3 kills, and the win at 1 kill that way she is easier to deal with, that wouldn't make her feel bad but make her less able to win without support.
Buff Poro Snax to 3 cause poros are cool but under powered :( (specially after the fluff nerf)
That being said I think only the elusive problem need to be addressed ASAP, too many elusive followers are toxic for the game specially when they are permanently elusive.
Agree with elusives. I mean its simply a face deck. Also 5 out of my 10 games are braum/zed elusive deck which is so frustrating. I mean, ok I can play around and win against them but why the fuck i have to play same deck over and over again. If i like that, i could continue to play hearthstone.
Let me put it another way, as I think there are some misunderstandings about my intent.
First, this isn't about jealousy that maybe someone else got better stuff than me. I'm fully aware of the Law of Averages and that these things tend to even out over time, creating a level playing field for everyone. It's not about some imagined immediate "unfairness."
(I do disagree that these upgrades are a "feel good" feature. I strongly doubt most players are even remotely aware of the baseline rewards, so they may not realize what the upgrade even means. I will add, however, that random positive reinforcement is the oldest psychological trick in the book, and frankly I find it a bit insulting to be treated like a lab rat in a Skinner box. If the game is good, I'll play it. I don't need to be cajoled with mind games.)
Also, I'm not accusing Riot of any kind of bait-and-switch here. I know they never promised not to randomize rewards. I'd be surprised if they ever considered any other way. I'm just saying I wish they would take their philosophy about purchased items and apply it throughout the rest of the game.
To say "all card games have always done it, so that's just how it is" has already been proven false by killing randomized packs for purchase. By extension, there's no need for rewards to have random rarities.
Note that I did not say "no randomized rewards." I'm perfectly fine with receiving a random rare card, for example. But it should always be a rare card, not a common card with a 10 percent chance of upgrading.
@KANSAS: Yes, I would like to completely abolish upgrading rewards in exchange for slightly fewer rewards that are slightly better by default and totally consistent in their rarity.
This is actually not true. There are several ways to get duplicate Champions on the board at the same time.
So you're only forbidden from playing duplicates from your hand (as they turn into signature spells), but you can create copies of ones that are already on the field?
Do note that some cards specifically state they copy followers though.
Personally, I don't like saluting people with Braum. That guy seems ridiculously happy and his existance is a BM completely. Shen emote feels a salute more so I'm using Shen emote as ''Hi/Good Luck".
I personally am not satisfied about this adventure until now, and regret buying it. For the same cost, Naxxramas and Blackrock gave us better gameplay and better cards IMHO.
I was playing it with regular Ysera, but I think Unleashed is super helpful. There's a lot of draw in this deck so you can really pump out the dragons.
Well, actually many companies do that. Those bonus money are usually on top of the preestablished money pool. It's just the way that people can show their support to the event and teams, that are there.
I'm... decently sure all they said is that anything you can buy will never be random, and that there will be random rewards, but as free-to-play rewards :/
I don’t have a real problem with the Brawl reward. If they changed it to something like 50 dust, that would seem more than fair for the effort it takes. Even if you have every Classic card, the average pack is worth more than that.
I totally agree that Hearthstone needs to improve their reward system overall. Your first 2-3 hours of time per week have a great return on investment: That keeps up with the week’s Brawl and Quests, earning you several packs. But beyond that, you’ll need to put in 6 or 8 more hours to earn ONE more pack!
I expect the rewards to slow down as you play more, but not nearly that fast. I hope Hearthstone steals some ideas from Runeterra. (Or just about any other F2P game.)
The average pack is worth a bit over 100 dust, so it's always useful. And if you have all the cards, you can actually disenchant whatever is in the pack and hit that average, unlike people who are still missing parts of the Classic set (10 legendaries to go for me).
Yeah looks like I'm in the same boat as Delko/Savron: It "should" be live in NA as of 15 mins ago (basically every HS event/update/news post happens at 09:00 PST) but doesn't appear to be - for me at least. Guess most of the Blizz team is off fighting the fires in what I've heard was an abysmally buggy launch of W3 Reforged?
It's getting harder and harder to ignore the effect that Activision has had on Blizzard..

Aggro Hunter cards.
Okay, so I almost made it to rank 5. Finished my exams so will be climbing hard the next couple of days. Made some changes though:
I took out the [Hearthstone Card (Unleash the Hound) Not Found]s and Timber Wolfs and put in another Freezing Trap and double Ironbeak Owl, and this seems to be working vs Druid. I'm also considering Blazing Battlemages to accompany Skydiving Instructor perhaps?
What is the Shen emote supposed to convey?

there isn't a leg quest, the normal daly quest gets replaced by a new one that also rewards dust

The Lunar New Year Tavern Brawl - Lunar Blessings!
I can confirm that Blessing of the Dog and Blessing of the Rat are, despite the wording indicating as such, not recursive. The hounds don't make new hounds and the Reborn is not infinite. Also, Blessing of the Tiger and Blessing of the Ox are missing a comma after "minion".
And the blessings don't seem to be randomly assigned either. I always got Tiger, Dragon and Dog as Paladin.

So, having played it a bit I figured out that you only get three choices per class and Priest is trash. Don't play Priest.
