I assume that this was supposed to be a joke deck...although it is indeed very good at cycling, good when one gets a quest to draw cards. If that happens, though, one can remove the useless Mecha'thun package (assuming that I am not mistaken that there is no easy way to kill Mecha'thun on your own).
Yeah, but the Auchenai problem also extends to the 2 Mana 3/2 from Rastakhan's Rumble and the 2 Mana Auchenai Spell from TGT. I do agree though that classic and basic need to be reworked. Even something as simple as buffing Holy Nova to cost 6 Mana and "Deal 3 Damage to all Enemies and restore 3 Health to all friendly characters" could solve the problem of having to give Priest good board clears every year. Mage has Flamestrike in classic, which allows them to not print any more Boardclears for them (aside from volcanic potion), whereas Priest gets around one every year
I've been playing a bit with a homebrew even-dragon deck and, from the few matches I played (rank 5-4), what really defeats me are slower decks, especially those annoying Reno decks that always have that perfect draw...
I wish I faced more secret mages and pirate warriors...
Anyway, here is my list, I'm very inexperienced with even warlock, could you give me some tips in order to improve it? The mojo master card is a real good catch!!
Looking at your list, it's definitely not bad, but obviously the 'official' version should perform better.
Evenlock is by no means a top tier deck. Because of meta... but mostly because of it's characteristic 'high risk, high reward' kind of gameplay (and I like this drama). You can easily die in a very cheap way, by bluffing or simply by overlooking something. So, decisions matter a lot.
Anyway, here's your average plan: 1) tap until you can play Giants and Drakes; 2) if vs. aggro you can play e.g. Homunculus on 2 or 3.; 3) after dropping a big boy, aoe his board and hit the face; 4) continue hitting the face, while doing logistic stuff (to bad no Shroomer anymore); 5) don't over commit (vs. slow decks), you have enough threats for several attempts.
No threats on 4? Play 4/4. Sometimes risk and don't heal, but make taunts and other proactive plays. Read their hand / deck. I find Mojo as an exceptional card. For example in a game vs. Secret Mage, I was on 12hp, he equipped Aluneth on 7, to Fireball me twice, of course. Without a proactive play I would never pop up his Ice Block, so I decided not to heal but play Mojo to put him on 6 mana where he wasn't able to burn me down. The next turn, my board destroyed Ice Block, I healed, and finished him the next turn with Breaths. I also triggered counterspells with Coin and Defile. In Wild, there're many little things you have to take care of. Tough, but exciting.
At that point why does Auchenai even exist if they’re pretty much only ever gonna print healing that doesn’t work with it? Auchenai was okay for the game back when there weren’t many cards, but these days it’s just a liability.
I feel like this next year it might just be better to rework all the class’s classic and basic sets, either by doing a rotating base set for each class, or changing how a lot of the class cards work, because the problem that the current base set is causing is only going to get worse. A lot of the time we’ll see the same classes having the same problems, because those are the problems that the base set forces on them. If they make it so that they don’t need to keep reprinting the same workarounds they always do then that’d give Wild a chance to get cards that aren’t just redundant
We’ve seen them doing a lot of things differently this past year, adding a lot of stuff people have been asking for, so why not this?
Makes sense then, I somehow overlooked the Nether Breath. Isn't the DK Guldan worth it in this kind of deck?
Guldan is kind of unnecessary for Wild Evenlock. Hitting them in the head with big minions is enough of wincon. But if you enjoy that card (which is the most important), feel free to include it.
The problem is not with Galakrond's hero power, its just that priest's invoke cards aren't up to snuff against aggro and there's not many ways priest can heal a ton right now.
Problem isn't that either, it is bad Classic set of Priest. What Invoke gives me is always Lightwell while rogue's get even better 1-cost cards and warlocks summons 2 demons and shamans got rush minions and warriors got +3 damage..

I’m much more stylish than my kin, - Troggs don't wear pants and shirts like him,
I wield that which sears the skin, - He wears a whip
the crowd cheers when I fight, - Crowd Cheers because his job is in a circus or somewhere like that
my deck never took flight, - Handbuff has never been a thing for hunter even it has The Grimmy Goons. Just Shaky Zipgunner saw some play in some deathrattle decks but not in handbuff decks.
To OP. Hanlock with dragons just runs over pirate warrior similarly to the highlander version BUT ive been winning consistently vs the apothecary rogue. How? Quite simple I use spellbreaker and one kobol sticky finger. They just cry themselves to sleep when u hit them with silence AND stealing their weapon. They dont have sap so ur big minions stay on board AND go face. They rely on their lifesteal buffed minions to stay alive. No removals so we just go face with what we got and they dont comeback. Face Toxic Hunter is an auto loss sadly
Tempo Galakrond Rogue also has a fighting chance against Apothecary Rogue since they have to rely on getting Necrium Apothecary fast enough. Additionally, if you push for a more aggressive strategy with wide boards and taunts, Tempo Rogue can outpace Face Hunter.
They serve to activate Nether Breaths. There're 5 dragons for that purpose. Healing is crucial now and Nether Breaths are more handy then Shroom Brewer, plus they damage the face. Evasive Wyrm is an 'even' midrange dragon, very useful removal and followup to giants. Being evasive is quite annoying, too.
Tried a ton of homebrew decks at rank 4. Currently my favorite has to be a druid with the usual auctioneer plus 0/1 mana spells to go through the deck then nomi, ysera, and floop to finish the game off quickly. Also enjoyed some of admirable’s warrior decks that I found on Zalae’s channel and highlander hunter. Loving the variety of decks you can play competitively this meta. Hopefully the face hunters go away soon! :)
As you know, after rise of Secret Burn Mage, Evenlock disappeared from the Wild meta. I tried BenFromWork's new dragon version of the deck and it surprised me positively. I went 8-0 (r4), even defeating 2 Mages. Of course, this can be a pure luck or me being too good ;), but if you would like to (at least) try an old deck with some new cards; and you enjoy shivers by constantly being on the verge of death, this deck is for you.

My master's wisdom will fill your thoughts
But worry a little, your life total is less

Exactly the same experience as mine.
The deck is seriously powerful, but inconsistent.
I think it needs some cheap draw spell at the very least, similarly to how Mechadin uses Crystology.
Kibler's Legend Quest Priest (66% WR)
Why the Archmage ? there is just a small pool of useful repeatable spells ...

Anybody know if solo bosses are immune to this or anything? I have a Lich King to kill a bunch of times.

Played a bit of dragon druid in standard but it felt too fair to be honest. Has anyone tried the new treant druid so far?
Guess I'll give pirate warrior a shot now since its matchup spread seems pretty decent. Should easily make it to rank 5, still.

No. It's a beatdown deck and Gul'dan is too slow. You're also not running enough demons for him to really be worth it.

It's less about armo(u)r/healing but about direct face damage that priest can't compensate.

Why the Evasive Wyrms?
Nightmare Amalgam Removed from Battlegrounds in Today's Patch + More Updates
Non-tribal minions are still too weak, and once you picked a tribe, you spend all your gold rolling.
Amalgam put some tension on rolling vs buffing, but that is now completely gone. The game got worse.
