I'm pretty sure it will just increase the numbers on that specific spell. You can think of it a bit like a normal handbuff for minions, just with the affected numbers inside the textbox instead of attack/health stats on the corners.

Pretty disappointing tbh. This is yet another package that won't see play because there isn't enough support for it. They'll probably add some support in 4 expansions just when it's about to rotate like they did with so many other packages. 5 Arcane spells in standard (only 4 benefiting from spell power) aren't enough. I hope they add Vereesa Windrunner in the coreset next year at least. That said, individually, I expect Ricochet Shot and Conjured Arrow to see play in QL Hunter though I am not sure it'll make the deck the powerhouse it once was.

Ah yes let me play a Spider Tank and a river croc in my 2022 Face Hunter deck! Oh and some spells that are only average and don't go face when those are played on curve! Surely that'll work!

Its another in a set of clunky cards for hunter, but at least this card helps a little by at very least playable on 3 no matter the situation, unlike Silvermoon Farstrider.

I rate this card because you'll always be mulliganing for your 1 drops, not your arcane spells. So the best hand would likely be more than glad to play this on 3. Probably playable, but wouldn't be too surprised to see it cut off for other less clunky hunter cards.

Im on the fence with this card. Because hunters dont draw very well in the early game so if youre dropping this on two youre essentially playing a river croc. And you might well be forced to do it, because hunters dont tend to play for tempo very well. So we're faced with a situation where this card can be excellent, but conversely might be a brick in the hand.

Like all the other arcane hunter cards its clunky. But if Talented Arcanist proves a better, more consistent, trigger for Conjured Arrow we might actually have to cut this card from the list because what the point of playing a river croc on 2 when there's a slew of better 2 drops?

Its not bad, but if you can't juice it with Silvermoon Farstrider on 2, then this card is just not very good. But it does have a fairly nasty scaling, and plays for tempo pretty well so I guess if youre running those spell damage cards then this card would be a easy pick.

Like the rest of the hunter arcane cards, this thing can only be judge through playtesting because its clunky as hell, something hunters aren't very good at making work.

The key is that this card can strike face.

So in addition to arcane shot you get another spell that's cheap and scales well with spell damage, and on top of that can play defence well. Flexible shit, which is what hunters need if they're ever going to play aggro in this meta again.

Its probably the highest power level card from hunter this expansion, because this card can literally draw you about 5 cards easily for 4 mana. Possibly more, depending on the juicing.

But I have a feeling that its manathrist condition renders it way too slow, which means you need to play for tempo, and that's not one of hunter's strong suits. Without actual testing its impossible to judge this card, because when it works it'll likely win you the game. And conversely the card may be too clunky to ever see play despite its obvious power level.

Oh dear, looks like Talented Arcanist would be working over time next expansion it seems.

After a few expansions misses, this may finally be where face hunter makes a comeback. One of the persistent problems with hunter has always been its draw (outside of quest hunter) and Conjured Arrow may well be the thing that finally allows face hunter to exist in this meta. Because with a few setups and Talented Arcanist, you'll likely be drawing way beyond the efficient 1 card per mana costing. That means there's a better chance you can fully utilize Twinbow Terrorcoil to its fullest potential

Both Silvermoon Farstrider and Halduron Brightwing are hard to judge, because we dont know how well hunter can maintain tempo, and conjured arrow only ever draws after turn 5. Both are setup cards essentially, but it may well be necessary to play more immediately impactful cards like wildseeds rather than rely on an inconsistent setup.

There is a chance that these cards are just too clunky for a straight class like hunter. Only a hands on will tell, because at the moment it does seem like any aggro deck would just roll this entire deck over.

Let's move Vereesa Windrunner to Core next year to go full circle on spells going face :)
But seriously, once questline bull!@#$ will rotate, maybe a bit more control-ish hunter could be born? One can dream, r-r-right?

Probably the best of the Arcane package because of the way it scales. Pretty unreliable against wide boards though.

It sounds kind of exciting, but at the same time it can't go face and you can't pop off before turn 6.

I'm still not quite sure how exactly Arcane Hunter is supposed to win games. You're basically playing a worse Quest Hunter but Quest Hunter is already bad.

Maybe you just mash it together with Wildseeds and that's enough to create a relevant burn/tempo deck.

1 mana ping and draw a card? Must-include in a lot of rogue decks. This also is amazing in miracle rogue, as this is a very cheap way of drawing cards and also getting bigger daggers from Necrolord Draka and a bigger ghosts from Sinstone Graveyard.

Alright, so this might be the main payoff for all the Spell damage boosting, but I#m not sure how consistent it is.

Is there a possibility to just run multiple spell damage boosters as well as stuff like Multicaster to just juice this to the point where it functions as a blowout play.

Is mini Mage still in Standard?

Am I wrong to think that this is better than the legendary? If Halduron is in your bottom 10 he's useless, but you can always keep this for a bigger payoff later and also play it twice (and combo with Brann for maximum greed)

Sounds interesting but the pool of Arcane spells in Hunter is just a tad small (and by that I mean that outside of the two revealed ones there's literally just Arcane Shot)
