Time for an update! Now that the Tombs of Terror is finished, I decided to go ahead and design the Plague Lord for Plague of Scales.
Obsidus is based on playing a lot of Dragons both big and small, and Dragon synergy cards to overwhelm you. The first phase isn't too hard to deal with, but phases two and three will be a lot harder if you can't keep his board under control. (I wish I could've found artwork for him that fit better with the other Plague Lords but oh well) You can find the heroic hero powers in the adventure guide in the main post.
The twist for Chapter 5 summons an Eternal Drake for each player. The Deathrattle will pass along to all of the Dragons gained by it, so you'll always have a Dragon on the board or in hand (which is useful for synergies). Use it to your advantage.
I also went ahead and made the 1,000 win portrait for the class (I'll change the name once they show reveal the other portraits if it doesn't fit with the others). The two Tactician Wild cards coming back into Standard for the Halloween event are Gear Up and Dragon Portal. Now that Uldum is finished, I'll wait until after the next expansion is fully revealed before I make the next batch of cards. See you then!
Yeah, I've seen people use it in really aggressive Pirate Warrior decks in the past, and it can dominate pretty hard if you get it out first thing and your opponent is playing a slower deck. It's just... I can't bring myself to ever play that weapon! It's a personal choice.
For me personally, I think the guide for a deck is almost as, if not more important than the actual deck itself. If you build a deck people have seen before with a very long, in-depth guide, people will like it.
It might be if you start overdrawing while you have a full hand? Or if you just draw too many cards in a single turn as Flux suggests.
I was just playing the Mindblast OTK version listed on the site, and I over drew several cards, going up to 6 damage in a single fatigue draw. Luckily I was also able to play a couple Spirit Lashes and 4x Mind Blast to set myself up for a win and to survive 7 potential fatigue damage next turn.
However, as my next turn started, my deck reloaded. So it will fatigue if you try to draw forever in a single turn, but does seem to regenerate the following turn.
Then got back to getting smashed again and could not get off 20, I nearly quit. Seriously it was a big downer.
I then thought about whether or not I would risk spending that much cash, my answer was absolutely not ......then I got drunk and spent the cash.
I panicked the next day....spending regret.
I looked for advice on some forums and starting building good decks. Had a great time.
If I had not gotten drunk at that crucial moment then I would have chucked in the towel, however, if the original outlay to build one decent deck was quite small then you would have had me..hook..line & sinker when I was sober.
Played Celticshark5's Face Auction deck (it's super cheap), but accidentally died because of fatigue since I drew too many cards. It seems that the deck will only refresh 4 times for a total of 30 cards, although it could be more - I didn't count. Keep this in mind!
The warrior cards seem far below the power of what everyone else is getting. Bloodhoof Brave is a nice taunt but not really what control warrior is looking for. Cornered Sentry or Alley Armorsmith are more in line for them. Where's Death's Bite? Great for quest warrior. Perfect for Plague of Wrath. Seems like an excellent time to chomp some death.
A card I would have liked to see back would be Sparring Partner. Very interesting card that was mostly overlooked in its day. The fact that it targets any minion has really interesting applications for tempo warrior and control alike. Applications that were mostly lost on me back in 2015.
These cards seem far from the most powerful or most popular warrior cards. If these leaks are accurate, it shows blizz is terrified of giving warrior anything more right now. Which should scare us too.

A Weekend of Wild Decks

:)
Opponent concede rate after second Zephrys the Great: 80%
Would this be of interest?

Elise's Zoology Report
Yeah the Beast package is usually how you win against most decks, lot's of fun! Stampeding Kodo is a really underrated card in the current meta imo.

Could Hearthstone be Looking to Reduce the Cost of the Classic Set?
As a relatively new player:
Had fun to start out with (bots I assume).
Hit rank 20 and got absolutely smashed.
I fluked level 16 with a deck full of taunts.
Then got back to getting smashed again and could not get off 20, I nearly quit. Seriously it was a big downer.
I then thought about whether or not I would risk spending that much cash, my answer was absolutely not ......then I got drunk and spent the cash.

thx, 5-1 atm

The limit is likely per turn and not per match. Someone go verify it!
If you go the Mindblast variant, i wonder why u don't add Vargoth to the deck?
Could Hearthstone be Looking to Reduce the Cost of the Classic Set?
I think they should HoF most of the classic legendaries. At least all of the class ones.
Anti Meta Res Priest | FUN | Rank 10 to 5 with 1 loss
1-3 on rank 24. Really bad vs aggro, no card to play until turn 4-5, often the turn when you're dead. Fun when you're alive after turn 7-8.
Six-Shooter
Nice to see that Jades are still ruining another brawl
There are better decks than Combo Priest ...
Pfft, 12 health on turn 3? You gotta pump up those numbers, Combo Priest can drop it to 0 by that time with a 24/24 on board.
Six-Shooter
don't think this deck can be countered:
Tavern Brawl · Highlander Paladin · by DoubleSummon · 6 years, 11 months ago
I mean you are immune almost every turn and keep playing zephrys what can stop this deck?
This is beyond legality, this is immoral ; loved it!
Deck lists according to rank
Please don't say the game is rigged without some very good evidence rather than paranoia/confirmation bias.
It would also be good if the reasoning made sense. Team 5 don't for some reason hate you and really love your opponents and fix the games accordingly.

Were the 23 Wild Cards Coming to Standard for an Event Leaked?
The warrior cards seem far below the power of what everyone else is getting. Bloodhoof Brave is a nice taunt but not really what control warrior is looking for. Cornered Sentry or Alley Armorsmith are more in line for them. Where's Death's Bite? Great for quest warrior. Perfect for Plague of Wrath. Seems like an excellent time to chomp some death.
Shieldmaiden? Another popular and powerful card. Even Iron Juggernaut for the bomb memes?
A card I would have liked to see back would be Sparring Partner. Very interesting card that was mostly overlooked in its day. The fact that it targets any minion has really interesting applications for tempo warrior and control alike. Applications that were mostly lost on me back in 2015.
Varian Wrynn is and always will be a fun meme card, minus the fun half the time. I'll def tryout a Dimensional Ripper Hakkar, the Soulflayer deck with him but I think we all know how that's gonna go.
These cards seem far from the most powerful or most popular warrior cards. If these leaks are accurate, it shows blizz is terrified of giving warrior anything more right now. Which should scare us too.
