i just got two legendaries (Armagedillo and Colossus of the Moon) in my ninth pack . This was the first time in 5 years of playing i got 2 legendaries in 1 pack
Also had an interesting game against a rogue who had just put 8 copies of Zephrys the Great in his deck after he already used it twice using a Shadowstep. Still managed to win using some big boys on the board though.
And finally: Build around the legendarys you opened. Set yourself the goal to successfully use every single one of them at least once. But be quick, meme decks already dissapear... i
Completely agree. I remember how I got The Voraxx from a random Ungoro pack - I tried running it in Druid and Warrior (ranks 15-18th), and even though it wasn't hugely successful I got some wins, it was fun and probably made my opponent laugh when they see a warrior running broke ass combo like The Voraxx and Rampage
Since those are commons, maybe it would be a good idea so start with those before opening or crafting the rares i listed, especially since this is supposed to be a starter deck.
Okay guys, I´ve tried to clear all my daily quests yesterday as some people suggested, and today I got my daily quest as usual. It seems that the game now recognizes the second quest slot as the third, so whoever has two quest slots occupied, they won´t get new one, as they wouldn´t if they had three already.
By now it seems like the temporary workaround until they fix the problem. I think it´s worth trying so you won´t miss another quests. Let me know if it worked for you, so we can confirm this idea. Thanks all.
This I pretty similar to the deck I use but I use Barista, kadgar, sunreaver warmage, voodoo doll, vulpera scoundrel and a few others that are not as important, I don't use the secret package and the start of the game is sometimes a bit slow but it is a lot of fun especially Barista and scoundrel.
I saw a similar deck on ladder yesterday around rank 2. The combo was Elise on Floop and Nomi. This generates 4 Nomis in total. I still would have won if 2 of my 4 big board clears were not bottom 3 but in any case, it's a pretty neat combo. The King Phaoris is fitting the same role here but it costs 10 and you don't seem to have enough big spells to achieve the same effect
Got a similar problem for the past three days. Had three quests at the end of the day... And in the morning only two left. Next morning only one left...
Had 2 quests in the account on 08.08. and didn't play at all. Logged in shortly after midnight around 00:15 on 09.08. and got my third quest. Now I log in again and my third quest is gone.
I had the same feeling as you when Rastakhan launched. I was still missing a bunch of important epics and legendary from previous expansions and wasn‘t able to use most new cards propperly.
Once the euphoria drops a little, you realize that not every legendary is as good as it seemed. Most of the time they get run over by some kind of aggressive budget deck.
My advice would be to invest a small portion of your dust into decks that you like. This week is the best and probably only opportunity to tinker around with the quests and reno decks. The unique experience is worth to risk some dust imo.
Zephrys is a good example. Even more when you got an other singelton card. I doubt him seeing much Tier 1 play but he‘ll stick around for a long time and is a fun card for sure.
Quests with high potential are an other. I‘ll craft the rogue quest since burgle rogue has allways been my go to when i‘m bored. The shaman quest seems to be a safe bet aswell.
And finally: Build around the legendarys you opened. Set yourself the goal to successfully use every single one of them at least once. But be quick, meme decks already dissapear... i
I have to agree with the above. The trailer didn’t thrill me, Henry Cavil is a good actor but the hair and getup seems super cheesy in what is supposed to be a dark fantasy world. Though most times the trailer is terrible the actual show/movie is good so I’m hoping for that effect here.
I loved the Witcher games and have recently been reading the books that inspire them, so it’ll be fun seeing an adaptation of the book storylines. It might change some things too, since technically the games were official fan fiction. This has the author, Andrzej Sapkowski, as the creative director so it will follow he books more closely.
Here's my order of power/oppressiveness after a couple days:
Druid: Way too easy to pull off, opponent almost always has it done by turn 4 or 5. You don't even need to play any cards to do it, so there is no deck building penalty at all, and yet there are cards that make it even easier. Payoff too strong, so that even if they do very little the first 4-5 turns, they can instantly swing the game back. Tier S.
Shaman: Same cards are used to trigger the quest and to synergize with the reward, so deck building for the quest is not a penalty. Too powerful with lackeys and other cheap battlecry cards like the new Sandstorm Elemental. Tier 1.
Paladin: Like Shaman, same cards are used to trigger the quest and to synergize with the reward, so no deck building penalty. Combo with Mechano-Egg is borderline broken. Tier 1.
Rogue: Easiest to pull off, often see it done by turn 3. The reward is good, not great, but conflicts some other good cards that make Burgle Rogue good. I'm not sure the quest version will win out over the non-quest versions, but still it is strong. Tier 2.
Mage: A little harder to pull off, but not too bad. The reward is very RNG. You really have to get lucky or draw arch mage antonidas at the right time to make this work well. Like Rogue, not sure the quest is better than the same kind of deck without it, but its still strong. Tier 2.
Warlock: Takes a long time to pull off, and making it faster requires adding garbage draw cards to the deck. Relies too much on portal draw, and need to get lucky with Arch-Villain Rafaam to really make good use of it. Tier 3.
Priest: Easier to complete than it may first seem, the deck recipe does a good job showing if off. In the end though, it just seems like a vehicle for more of the same Divine Spirit > Inner Fire nonsense, and to that end, the quest seems like a win-more card. Tier 3.
Hunter: Takes long to complete, unless you draw Swarm of Locusts. Hunter has a hard time surviving, and to make this quest work, you need to fill the deck with cards that won't help survival. With hardly any charge minions, the reward is not very useful unless your opponent is dumb enough to go wide.Tier 4.
Warrior: I've only seen it once, and the reward seemed pretty good, but the cost (lots of weapons) has never really worked for warrior, and I don't see this making it work. Too slow, and too much damage to absorb to finish it. Tier 4.
Very very well said! I think priest is maybe underrated though. I'd call it tier 2. But yeh, druid one seems busted
I've been playing a similar deck on ladder and casual and it's performing very well and, more importantly, it's a lot of fun.
I rarely run out of options and cards
I'm missing Dinotamer Brann, perhaps I will craft him later if I keep enjoying the deck but it's not a must have. Siamat is also not a must have but a very good inclusion in almost any deck.

The Greatest Dinomancers (aka. 5/5 Dreadsteed Warlock)
Just tried the deck, sooooo fun, and effective! Thanks!
Slysssa's Quest Malygos Druid - Uldum Launch Deck
This is not the most up to date list. She swapped out Overflow for Faceless Manipulator, swapped out both Worthy Expedition for Crystal Merchant and swapped out Alexstrasza and 1 Starfall for 2 BEEEES!!!.
What is your favourite deck so far?
Even if i'm pretty bad with Highlander decks, i feel inevitably lured towards [WILD] Quest Highlander Tempo Rogue...
I mean, playing Zephrys the Great feels so good that it almost compensates for a loss. And stealing cards is always cool.
I'm considering crafting Kazakus too.

That moment when a hunter uses Wild Bloodstinger on curve so you get your Mountain Giant on the board for free and the turn after you can slap down Khadgar + Conjurer's Calling to seal the game <grin>

@duppie: yes I was being ironic here :) meant it as a joke.

Starter Cyclone Mage
Elemental Evocation is good card to include for sure. Not sure what i would swap them for, maybe any combination of Astral Rifts and Arcane Flakmage.
Since those are commons, maybe it would be a good idea so start with those before opening or crafting the rares i listed, especially since this is supposed to be a starter deck.

Yeah, you can be the aggressor for sure when you basically have Ballista Shot on steroids :)
Standard Elise Highlander Druid
I'm not sure Phaoris has enough swing power here: even assuming you can save enough spells every game, most of them are pretty cheap.
And since your pressure is not very high until late, a turn-10 with basically a board of tokens sounds quite weak to me.
I bet a Mountain Giant would be more helpful overall.
How To: Collection Filters
Oh yeah, that is great! I can search for other languages too and potentially add them, thanks :)
