Strengths: Spells (big and small), damage spells, Secrets, board clear
Limitations: Minion swarms
Weaknesses: Healing, Taunt, minion buffs
Priest:
Strengths: Healing, narrow but powerful spells, copying, single-minion buffs, Deathrattle
Limitations: Card draw
Weaknesses: Face damage spells, multi-minion buffs
So according to Blizzard's logic, this card should've been a Mage card.
But for some weird reason Priest and Warlock are not only getting better board clears, but also more board clears. The name of the card would suggest it's a Warlock card (Plague of Death). Priests are anti dead and the art doesn't fit the card name as well -I don't see a plague (a disease).
All in all, this shouldn't be a Priest card but a card used AGAINST Priest, Priest already has the most and best board clears at the moment and for that I give it a 1/5.
You're trying to reason with Blizzard and their failure of either strictly sticking to class identity, or abandoning it altogether. Blizzard doesn't understand logic in this case
Strange they straight up replaced Succubus with a Felstalker - thought they'd reserve the Felstalker for something that can silence or steal a spell since that's what they do in WoW.
Also, the new queen of pains artwork is a tad garish.
I'm happy with most of the changes, not because I think nudity is bad, but looking at it their art was just trash. While I think Aviana is totally fine because she looks like a gorgeous goddess, old Secretkeeper just looks stupid, her body makes no sense, her spine is twisted through and through, it's just wrong and overdone for no reason. Same for old Windfury Harpy, what the fuck is going on with her hips. And honestly, that Succubus art just looks a bit too cosplayish and could be improved. Pretty sad that they just gave up on her for a random fel demon though.
I however disagree with the changes for the spells art.
But that said I don't actually really care because none of those cards were special to me.
Caverns were decent for a short time with the pirate deck.. but for sure I hope they make something decent, perhaps play X amount of stealth minions = your minions have + 1/1 and stealth
I've been wondering about it myself and it is to be considered that the quests use the respective League of EVIL/Explorers members as tthematic inspiration.
I feel like Priest could be something like "Heal yourself for X" to receive a passive hero power that forces the opponent to play with an open hand (since madame lazul is all about seeing the future and predictions and her minion version has to do with the opponent's hand as well)
For rogue I assume it could be something like "play x cards from another class" to gain a hero power like the advanture's "yoink" since rogue historically is the only class that doesn't feel broken with insane value generation due to its lack in AOE and healing
Priest: Silence X minions. Reward: Hero power, choose a minion, summon a 1/1 copy of it.
Rogue: Play 5 cards in a single turn. Reward: Passive hero power, when you play a card from another class, add a random card from yours to your hand.
Mage: Spend X mana on spells. Reward: Hero power, discover a spell damage minion that costs 5 or less.
Hunter: Play a beast, a murloc and a dragon. Reward: Passive hero power, your beasts, murlocs and dragons have +2 attack.
Paladin: Consume 3 divine shields by trading. Reward: Passive hero power, your divine shields can take a second hit before breaking.
Warrior: Deal X damage to minions. Reward: Hero power, deal 1 damage to a minion, if it survives, gain 3 armor.
EDIT: I doubt Hunter's quest will be focused on spells, as it can be recast with Zul'Jin and spells in hunter can be quickly unbalanced at the moment because of him.
It is just the 2 mana element card with the same action wrapped as a hero power? That card didnt see much play, dont think this hero power will be good.
That buffed next bc, not multiple which might be big difference like brann has shown us.
Also having that ability ready every turn for any battlecries is something that cant be comparable to a single card which can be used once and probably needs to be saved for a specific bc.
Last thing is that slower shaman decks dont like to hero power that much anyway after midgame so this is better option for quite a small investment.
Since people seem to believe your avatar on a gaming forum is a portal to your inner psyche, I'm sure folks will assume this post is an anti-SJW rant. Nothing could be further from the truth.
OF COURSE, they make these changes if they think there is even a possibility that the old content could cause problems . . . in new OR existing markets.
OF COURSE, different countries have different censorship standards. For Christ's Sake, you can't meme in Europe without potentially being sued by the IP owner anymore (thank you Article 13). So I just know none of you complaining are doing so from the EU, because pot is definitely calling kettle black (in a non-racial allegorical way) in that case. Don't even get me started on the proposed insanity before the US House of Reps on this subject.
and . . . by the way . . . OF COURSE, you are lying to yourself if you start a post with "I don't give a damn about these changes, BUT . . . "
As the great American philosopher Jimmy Dore once said, if you include the word "but" in a sentence, you have just erased, and probably are about to actively disprove, everything that came before the word. See, for example, last Thursday's US Democratic Primary Debate ("I don't believe you are a racist, BUT . . . "). This thread is no exception.
Bottom line is this. If you are a fan of Hearthstone, and not just a fan of edgy content and defending perceived slights from PC culture (which, by the way, I don't put in quotes because it is definitely a thing), you are fine with this change. I have no idea whether these changes were necessary, but they are so completely insignificant in the grand scheme of things, of course Blizzard would take this tiny precaution.
As for commentary on one country's policies over another, let he whose country lays no bullshit on the altar of PC cast the first stone. Something tells me there won't be many rocks flying.

In Standard, I am not convinced this quest is that great based on the cards we currently have.
You have to spend 2 mana to activate this each turn. Let's say it's turn 7. You have 5 mana left to activate a battlecry twice. Which one? What's so good right now you'd really get a benefit from not playing a 7 cost card?
Electra Stormsurge, because a spell would activate 4 times? Ok, if that works (?)
Otherwise I don't see it. Also, a minion with a battlecry that overloads you then overload you twice? Presumably. In which case this has a high cost associated with it.
I'm happy to be proven wrong. I just don't really see it right now. Of course, I appreciate many more cards have yet to be revealed.
This looks like a decent card, and fits into a lot of previous shaman styles, although the flavor isn't super original. I'm frankly just happy to see more cards getting revealed already. I thought We'd have to wait longer.
Thanks for this. Used the US store to purchase for EU (I'm from the UK) I also used Paypal and the total for both bundles came to £100 which saved me £15.
When using the KR store as mentioned I could only pay with Blizzard Balance, although it did appear that I could have topped up to make the purchase but didn't fancy risking it.
First, the spells are extremely, how would you say...auxiliary in this deck; none of them are critical! Look at the minions, drawing any of them are powerful - especially while having arugal. Stargazer luna might even be a good addition. Also, the main reason, is that you should try to put book of specters in opp. hand with loremaster cho. They will have a hard time playing it themselves. You need to understand, this deck is about filling the hand of control decks then burning them down. Elysiana makes sure you endure the end-game with cards in deck while they burn.

What do you think of the card art changes?
It's the HS version of the original Japanese Dark Magician Girl brought over to US and censored on her English counterpart all over again XD

Whats your guess for the other QUESTS in SOU?
Caverns were decent for a short time with the pirate deck.. but for sure I hope they make something decent, perhaps play X amount of stealth minions = your minions have + 1/1 and stealth
Whats your guess for the other QUESTS in SOU?
Rogue is gonna get a bad quest. After caverns below they can’t give rogue a halfway decent one sadly.
wish they would bring stealth back to rogue in some way.
Would like a play X combo cards hero power becomes give a minion stealth but I doubt that would be grea

well i i ha some quick guesses but it is hard to say
paladin may involve divine shields
warrior may involve armor or weapons
hunter may involve secrets or spells in general.
mage may involve doing damage with spells
rogue might involve shuffling cards into decks or poisonous
priest may involve silencing minions

I'm thinking priest could be play X deathrattles again with double rattle passive as reward thought they may want to change it up from the old quest.
Priest: might be something like : HEAL X damage. reward: Hero power heal 3 and random enemy takes 2 damage.
Rogue might be assassinate X minions. reward: passive: kill a minion get a coin and a random spell (from any class)
Mage, Cast 3 spells in one turn 3 times. reward: passive: all spells you draw gain twinspell
Hunter: Play X spells reward put a random hunter spell in your hand at the end of every turn.
Paladin: Play X minions with 1 attack. Passive: All minions played gain attack equal to their health
Warrior: Play X rush minions: Passive All your minions have +1 attack and reborn.
Just guesses.

The name and art of the card doesn't seem to have any obvious connection to the effect?
How to buy the pre-order (or anything) cheaper within Blizzard Shop without any problems/illegal actions?
I believe payments can only work with credit card.

Ah, sorry. You’re right, MXN actually did redirect me to US.
I will have a look into the paying process in the Korean shop and report back, though.
