Keleseth feels completely pointless in this. I'm not sure Mage is the best class to be trying this with. With all the spells, it seems Keleseth is more of a hindrance that help. I'm feeling inspired to try to build a Zoolock deck with this Royalty restriction.
Hunter was absolutely out of control. Even after this fix it's a good strategy to keep the board clear of every single mech. Magnetizing a Piloted Shredder is often just game winning.
Well, this arena rotation is focused on mechs from all expansions on purpose, so it was obvious Magnetic will be a premium keyword and will enable "non buff" classes to become tempo monsters, and it happened. Im looking forward to see how the changes influenced the meta.
I look at cards that see zero play outside of very niche Tech options and build around those. For instance at the moment I'm trying to make a Big Spell Mage work with the Three Princes in it. So thats no 2,3 or 4 Cost Cards apart from those.
Hi all. I've been trying (without success it has to be said) to build a deck with all Three Princes in it. That's Valanar, Keleseth and Talderam. It's proving.... difficult?
Here's the deck list for your perusal. Any ideas on how to make it better would be gratefully received. The only caveat is this: The Royalty must stay!

I'm salty about Pogo rogue at the moment. I'm just minding my own business playing an overload shaman deck trying to get to 500 wins and every other game is this Pogo Rogue BS! I'd rather play the pre-nerf Tempo Lackey Rogue than this. I hope it's just a fad and goes away quickly.
Doomsayer is the smallest problem: i can always devolve it, or toxfin it.
My problem simply they freeze effect. They can hold my 5/5 murlocs freezed for multiple turn, and draw their remaning cards for an OTK combo(antonidas, or just an Arcane Giant for lethal).
Hunter was absolutely out of control. Even after this fix it's a good strategy to keep the board clear of every single mech. Magnetizing a Piloted Shredder is often just game winning.
Been having good luck with control warrior ... IF ... the Paladin doesn't play smart. Running double silence, I let them dump as many mech's into one minion, then silence and kill it. It's working for now, but it won't be too long before they adapt and start going wide instead of trying to build one or two super-mech's.
"Thief" is a terrible misnomer. They are copies; you are not actually stealing anything.
The original idea behind cards like these was that you were probing the opponent's mind to see what's in their hand or deck. Gaining a copy from it just happened to be the easiest way to express that mechanically.
In some cases, such as Mind Games, it's more about clouding minds to make their minions fight on your side.
Either way, the "lore" behind this part of the class identity is an aspect of shadow magic common to WoW Priests since the beginning of that game.
I hated Tracking when playing the Deathrattle Beast hunter
With few beast in te deck the possibility to discard one or two of them was a disaster - with all other decks it's a ok card - never mulligan for it, but later in the game the possibility to chose a card can be vital
1. Very peppery to see Hearthpwn live on and perhaps become better than it was - I, for one, welcome our Vampiric? (I guess the most appropriate metaphor for dying and becoming "more"?) Overlords.
2. It's not often I can pull off my ultimate turn 9/10 Burgle Rogue combo of Tak Nozwhisker + Preparation + Academic Espionage to fill my hand with stolen cards (and get a peak at what just got put in my deck) but when I do it's almost always instant win. Most recently, Tak gave me 1-mana King Krush + TWO Kill Commands for 18 face dmg the next turn and the win. Love.
When I say I think it's a mistake to play early is when it's just something a player does to spend the mana on turn 1. That's not a good play. You play a card when you think you have a plan. Just throwing a Tracking out there on turn 1 just because you have 1 mana is not really a well-thought-out play, don't you think
This.
Players who don't get why Tracking is a decent card are probably doing this. If you learn to use it well, you'll begin to see how powerful it is.
That said, I don't think it's correct to put two in every deck. Tracking is most useful when you are looking to enable combos and exploit synergies. If you're playing a more homogeneous deck (such as some of the aggro decks from days of yore), it may not be worth the mana. When every card advances your strategy, there's no need to go fishing.
Maybe the meta decks should consider Tech-ing E.M.P. Operatives (5 mana 3/3 destroy a mech). Its also good against Pogo Rogue and Mech Hunter and other mech-based decks. What do you think boys?
It cost too much for it's stat cost.
Plus, mech has often deathrattle.
It's not a great card against other deck, it's a dead card to be honest.
Is this even possible?
Keleseth feels completely pointless in this. I'm not sure Mage is the best class to be trying this with. With all the spells, it seems Keleseth is more of a hindrance that help. I'm feeling inspired to try to build a Zoolock deck with this Royalty restriction.

It is possible but ... Having no 2, 3 or 4 drops is quite restricting ...
What Inspires You To Build A Deck?
Quests. I don't like netdecking casual to complete quests so I'll usually try to build something from scratch using unpopular cards.
That said I really love putting Weaponized Pinata in every deck possible. :)

I don't get comments like this. So, they are working on the Servers to make sure they work properly most of the time? Oh dear.... Its an hour at most.

Them: See on HSReplay and VS that everyone is playing Bomb Hunter
Also them: Play token druid to counter
Me: Plays tempo rogue - destroys both.
