I am so excited to test Satellites / Kiblers Mech Buff Paladin with these buffs and snip snap. Will be a feast.

I might craft me a second Thunderhead just because I like the idea of a T4 tempo swing with Zap! and a Likkim.

  • Post-buff Pogo-Hopper Rogue

Deck is pretty good but my version will be like -2 vanish -1 FoK +Edwin +Leeroy + Another SotS

  • What is wrong with people?

Some people are just dicks. That's the up and down of it.

It is however quite easy to misunderstand the nature of an emote. Sometimes it's easier to just "Squelch"

  • Pogo Hopper Deck Idea/Help

We've already discussed a few ideas over here: https://outof.cards/forums/hearthstone/game-modes/standard/350-post-buff-pogo-hopper-rogue

Nice to see a different approach, though :) tell us how it worked out!

  • Arena locking before rotation only punishes the arena players

    Quote From Alfi

    You can:

    • Play until 2 losses and then stop and get a free ticket
    • Play until you have 12 wins or 3 losses

You have exactly the same choices as the other players. No one is punished in any way.

These choices don't have the same impact on these two groups. That's like closing one road and telling everyone they can use 'other roads'. This will, of course, impact the users who would normally use this closed road. Even though everyone has the same options: 'other roads'.

    Quote From sinti

It is not to stop ppl from abusing the compensation mechanism. It is to let ppl who want to play out their runs play them out.

I'm not sure how closing the arena helps people to play out their arena runs. You can also play out your run if there is no lockdown.

    Any replacements for Giants?

  • What is wrong with people?

Why even bother adding those people in the first place?
It's well known when you win against someone and get a friend request, 99% of the times you get flamed at.

I don't ever add anyone after a win.

  • What is wrong with people?

I suggest to you to report people who do that do Blizzard. I don't know if it's usefull or not, if something will happen or not, but I hate people who randomly insult me for being good or lucky on a game on the internet.

Said that, I also hate the fact that people don't add me when I ask friendship. I usually do that when I lose badly against a fun deck, so that I want to ask their list. People think that I want to BM them, but it's never true and that makes me sad :'(

  • [Game] Name another card that has the same...

  • Mech Hunter in standard after rotation?

Grats on your legend achievement there!

How do pepople feel about mech hunter after the buffs that are coming today? I mean Nechromechanic and the new Snip Snap make a good addition to some deathrattle based mech hunters out there? I think "Mechrattle" will be my first try after the buffs come alive!

What is a mong? Is it like Mongo from Blazing Saddles? If so, good one! If not, that’s not a good one. Overall a disappointing variety of insults. Better luck next time I guess

Short for Mongoloid-relating to the broad division of humankind including the indigenous peoples of East Asia, SE Asia, and the Arctic region of North America

It's supposed to refer to the person as a lesser being of small intelligence. (Like Mongo)

  • Wild Viable Conjure's Calling Mage

I think this mage deck is a good enough tier 2 deck. The winrate i have with this deck until now is 7-1. It allows you to swing the game tide probably every time on turn 6 or 7, sometimes even turn 5. It has good control and grinding tools against aggro decks in wild. Not sure about the matchup with big priest, but sylvanas will help you win these games. The deck has a lot of healing, freezing, armor gain tools which allow you to get in turn 5 usually without a problem.  After the buffs today, you could also add Luna's Pocket Galaxy for extra spice and maybe change the deck a little. As many conjure's calling decks this allows for many manual modifications if you want. Check it out and i'm open to any ideas. Deck ID Not Found

More importantly, Mulchmuncher is not a card that makes it worth running the treants in the first place.

It is not to stop ppl from abusing the compensation mechanism. It is to let ppl who want to play out their runs play them out. While i agree that locking it 6-8 hours prior is just ridiculously long interval for no real reason, you are overreacting.

It used to be once a year, now it might be once every 2 months, i think that one can refrain from playing arena for few hours from time to time, if one wants to take advantage of said compensation.

  • I changed my mind on MTG Arena

    Quote From W0lfr1c

I loved to play MTG in the past :-). My pro cap is in the drawer ^^.    I did never look at MTG Arena due to a sole reason. I don´t want to pay a single cent when i have a full collection of all tourney cards 4 times LoL ...

You honestly don't have to. I only spent 5 dollars for the welcome bundle and I have more than enough to build a viable deck.

  • Please Limit the Copies of Cards and the Total Deck Size in Deckbuilder

    Quote From Chimera
    Quote From AbsoluteZero
    Quote From Fluxflashor

I could add a warning that would display on saving but there are no plans to put these hard limits in place. Sharing Arena and decks people have used in various Adventure modes is something we want to support so leaving it open like that allows us to do just that. Same would go for Tavern Brawls should they have weird deckbuilding rules.

Thats fine for other modes, but on ladder those hard limits exist from the get-go. This wasnt an issue on Hearthpwn since you could always check the "Arena deck" box and put in as many copies of cards as you want. I dont get why this functionality was taken away instead of brought over.

Hearthpwn works this way too. You don't have to check any box to select multiple copies and save the deck. I don't believe it's too hard to double check that  the cards are correct, but perhaps something to aid with this could be added like an option to enable those limits, a button to remove any cards over the limits, some sort of visual indicator, or a combination.

We could add Deck Type "Arena" (should be there already anyway) and all but Arena, TB, PVE could have an automatic cutoff of the cards above their regular limit.

  • Pogo Hopper Deck Idea/Help

Might be a bit slow but I think spirit of the shark could work for a deck like this.

You focused too hard on the deck's gimmick.

  • What is wrong with people?

All emoting is BM unless it's "Oops" after forgetting to click end turn and roping.

    Quote From sto650

Context - I was playing token druid, opponent was on bomb warrior. I was rank 6, 5 stars; he was rank 5.

On turn 2, I went face instead of trading with his Loot Hoarder, allowing him a free trade with my Dire Wolf Alpha. I'm fully aware that this looks like a mistake, but against a warrior, it's extremely important to get in as much damage as possible as early as possible with token druid, due to board wipe potentials. So I know it looks foolish, but I do it anyways. He emotes, "That was a mistake." I think I muted him.

I do, in fact win the game. Apparently he didn't have board wipes. I think I emoted "well played," because I always do that. To me, it's meant to be a polite way to end a game. Am I crazy to think it's polite to end a game with "well played"? Should I just never emote? Anyways, here's what happened after the game. The filtered words are f-bombs. (Side note: I'm married and have two children.)

Edit: Apparently I am inept at using the image insertion feature. Basically he screamed at me for emoting and then unfriended. I friended him again to inform him he did first, and he screamed some more. Here's the image link: Screen Capture of the comments

If you say "Well Played" in a lop sided train wreck on his behalf that is honestly bad manners. It's the same as saying GG after winning a game where you clearly wrecked the other team. GG means "Good Game". It's not a good game if the other team gets wrecked. Plus its honestly an extreme BM move to mute him yet emote yourself, that is extremely childish.

I never say "well played" if I am about to win. Only the person about to lose should say it. I myself say Well Played when I know I lost. Being married or having children doesn't mean you are an expert in social intelligence. If I legit want to be an asshole I do in fact spam "Well played" if I think I clearly won this game and I think he is wasting his time. Well played is for the loser to say.

I would even say you were trying to be a jerk if you friended him again. Especially if you sent something like, "You tried your best ;D" You should just drop it and move on. You are literally putting salt on the wounds.
