Actually, it's just a lategame trick for me. I'm trying to build it as a Tempo deck, with Val'anyr as its ultimate Value generator for whenever the game stretches for too long, but not as its average wincondition.
If that's the case then I'd ditch the Ebon Dragonsmith - there are probably higher tempo plays you can make on T4.
There are a few silences/transform effects floating around in Wild (evenlock, shaman, mage, priest(sorta)) so Val'anyr may not consistently generate value.
It's definitely worth testing though. If you are on EU let me know and you can test some builds (I've got the card).

Here, on "Archetype" selection, there are 10 "Unknown"s. It's weird to see there are 10 of it, not one.
Might sound childish/weird, but please change "Is Standard" to "Deck Format Type", just like on Hearthpwn. Also, you developers/staff are aiming to support Magic as well, if I recall. So, "Deck Format Type" will sound better, both for Hearthstone, and Magic, and any card game you are aiming to support.
Just like what you developers/staff did with this update, could you release similar of it but aiming to personal profile deckpages? So that, within my profile, I can filter/sort my decks here as well, similar to Hearthpwn.
"Everyone says they hate it and don't do it" what? No. It's just a vocal minority who keeps complaining about netdecks because the homebrewed decks they come up with aren't strong enough to compete in the meta. Rather than actually trying to improve their decks they go for the easy way out and complain that everyone is an evil, scum of the earth netdecker.
Netdecking happens in every card game. It is something that is inevitable and cannot, nor should, be prevented.
A stale meta isn't the fault of these scummy netdeckers either. That's entirely on Blizzard and their balancing qualities. If there's only a few decks out there that see play, it's because those are significantly stronger than the rest. That's not the player's fault.
Update has gone out for today that has new deck listings. Should help with some mobile issues that were present on the page. Personally, I would throw all the current class archetypes out of the window , and make previously weak cards usable in it like alarmobot , hobgoblin or whatever.
I haven't seen this card in play since the nerf to equality. That nerf hit even pally hard, as well as any control decks. I guess its still playable in handbuff deck, but the nerf to saronite chain gang makes doppleganster the only card that has great synergy with this one. so... seems like blizzard really hates this card :p
It would have been really cool if we could keep one of them at the end, pick a favorite and bring them outside of the Dalaran Heist. Not sure who I would pick; probably Rakanishu, 'cause he's pretty entertaining.

I quoted someone who mentioned two cards Val'anyr and Rummaging Kobold. If I hover over both cards in their post, it shows both of them.
If I hover over either card in my own post (in which I quoted their post) it doesn't show them.
